Match #5: Texas Death Match - "Wildcat" Chris Harris vs. "Cowboy" James Storm

The battle begins on the ramp with Storm attacking Harris. Harris hip tosses Storm on the ramp. The match immediately takes to the crowd. They battle to the top row and Harris tries to toss Storm over the top gate in the back row (a rather large drop). He is unsuccessful though. They brawl some more and are moving all the way around the crowd. Storm falls down the steps as they make their way back to ringside. Storm gets a drink and tosses it in Harris’s eyes and now reels off some right hands. Storm tries to send him into the wall but reversed and Harris sends Storm there.

Storm is in the crowd still and Harris makes his way to the ring and gets to the top ropes. He flies from the top rope to the crowd and hits a huge splash onto Storm and then scores the pinfall. Now Harris has to a 10 count to get to his feet. He does get to his feet at 8.

Back at ringside now and Storm delivers a bunch of blows to Harris. The Wildcat is busted open now and Storm brings a table into the ring and sets it up. Storm puts Harris on the top rope in a seated position. Storm tries to Hurricanrada him through the table but Harris holds onto the ropes as he begins the maneuver. Storm falls to the mat. Harris charges Storm now and he tries to slap on a Sharpshooter but Storm wriggles out. So instead Harris has Storm lying under the set up folding table and catapults him upward so that Storm’s face meets the underside of the table. Storm is a bloody mess now.

Harris now tries to suplex Storm through the table but Harris stays grounded and kicks Harris low. Storm hoists up Harris and hits an Eye of the Storm toss of Harris through the table. He pins him and now Harris has to answer the 10 count.

Harris gets up at 9. Storm charges him and clotheslines him down. Storm now gets another table from under the ring. Storm has blood gushing still from his forehead. He sends the table inside the ring. Storm picks up Harris for an Eye of the Storm but Harris wriggles free. Harris leaps off and falls through the ropes to the apron. Storm then brings Harris inside through the middle ropes but his feet are stuck on the second rope. So Storm hits a DDT face plant. Storm rolls outside and tosses in some trash can lids. Storm steps on the apron to get inside the ring when suddenly Harris charges Storm and spears him through the ropes from the apron backward through the table that is set up on the outside floor.

Harris gets a chair and swings and misses. Storm ducks it and hits a Superkick on Harris through the chair. Goes for the pin and Harris kicks out. Storm screams in desperation. Each man now gets a trash can lid and they go back and forth with clocking one another. Harris then catches Storm and hits a Catatonic through the trash can lid. Storm is literally a crimson mask now. Jackie Moore now gets involved and attacks Chris Harris and tries to handcuff him. Gail Kim hits the ring and takes care of her. Both Harris and Storm grab a beer bottle. They get in the ring and turn to clock the other. Harris makes the first swing and clocks Storm in the head with the bottle. He pins Storm for the three count and the referee counts. The 10 count now. As the referee reaches 10 Storm is nearly at his feet but falls again and Chris Harris is the victor.

I don't really like TNA, but this Texas Death Match is good. I actually forgot the ppv was on, lol.
