1.Starts the show at 10AM with the usual
"Don't Go Messin' With A Country Boy".
2.Hillbilly says howdy to friends & neighbors, says to come on in because the
barn door's open & says it's your pal Hillbilly Jim that's high up on the ridge in
Mud Lick, Kentucky. He says he'll pull up a mug & pour himself a nice, sparkling glass
of Moonshine Matinee. He asks cousin Spike as to how's he doing, says it's an
exciting weekend because it's Memorial Day
weekend with lots of things going on. He
says he's excited that you've chosen him
again, says he won't let you down & will play some dog gone, wonderful tunes. He
says he'll play some of the greatest of all
time, says he'll also play some new songs by
some great artists & mentions Dale Watson
& Lucinda Williams.
Hillbilly says he'll also be playing some Kid
Rock & Junior Brown & says to now settle
back, kick your shoes off, call your neighbors & have them come to your Sirius
radio & enjoy what he'll be bringing you. He
says he'll kick this off with a Hall Of Fame

Moon Rising"] was their lead single off their
"Green River" album & it's the group's breakthru hit.
3.Plays Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Bad
Moon Rising", Dusty Rhodes' Hillbilly Jim
promo, Dwight Yoakam's "Intentional
Heartache" & Kid Rock's "Hillbilly Stomp".
4.Hillbilly says he's here answering all of your wrestling trivia questions or whatever
else you got & any kind of thing you'd wanna know because he pretty much has got it right. He says when he thinks of Kid
Rock & what a sensation he is, says you've
seen Kid on all the award shows & says he
saw that MTV's moving all their music awards to Las Vegas. He says that can be a
better place, says Kid fits out there because
it's got that rock & roll "debautchery" there, where you can go to the Hard Rock
Cafe there & just gamble & other things that they say "stays in Vegas" but we wind
up hearing about it anyway. He says if it looks like he's having fun it's because he is.
Hillbilly says he's got lots of things this week to talk about with interesting things to get into & hopes you'll stay with him all
day long, just like you do weekly. He says he
appreciates that, says he gets all your requests & says he'll get into that later. He
says when he thinks of a musician [Junior Brown] that really lays it down like no one & is really super entertaining, says it's not
just from a singing viewpoint but from a
musical viewpoint as far as playing. He says
the guy's look is very Texas & cool & says
that's why he likes bringing this guy on here.
5.Plays Junior Brown's "I Hung It Up", C.W.
McCall's "Old Home Filler-Up", Commander
Cody & His Lost Planet Airmen's "Truck
Drivin' Man".

He says to eat plenty of good food & enjoy
this wonderful holiday, says this is the 1st
holiday that we're getting before summer
comes & says he likes it out there. He says he just played "Truck Drivin' Man" & says he appreciates truckers that emails him. He says he knows you're driving in them big ol' rigs nationwide & keeping this land all
supplied with goodies that we have to have & says he appreciates you so much.
Hillbilly says it's a dog gone hoot to hear from all of you & plugs his email
hillbillyjim@sirius-radio.com , his toll free
request line 877-33-SIRIUS & press #63 &
his site
www.hillbillyjim.com . He says he'll
now play a tune ["Understand Your Man"] &
says if you're talking about the #1 outlaw, you can't get any better than this guy
[Johnny Cash]. He says we love him, says it
don't matter what he does it's music to
anyone's ears at anytime, says he'll play this
guy weekly & promises that.
7.Plays Johnny Cash's "Understand Your
Man", Rodney Crowell's "Old Pipeliner",
Robert Earl Keen's Outlaw Country promo & Robert Earl Keen's "The 5 Pound Bass".
8.Hillbilly says that's the magic number in pounds in catching bass, says he knows there's some folks on the back of that bass
boat just fishing away. He says if you are, you don't wanna miss the next segment because he'll have Uncle Percy Mandoberg
later talking about the world of woods & waters & may share a couple of recipes. He says this next group that he'll play for you
is something else, says they've been recording since the 70's & are a fantastic
group. He says it's Confederate Railroad,
says they're still touring & says he had Cody
McCarver & Danny Shirley on the show
several months ago. He says both are great
guys & will be performing in North Carolina next week & you should check it out.
Hillbilly then plugs
www.confederaterailroad.com & see their
tour dates:
http://************/yl5m2h . He
says this song ["Still 1 Outlaw Left"] will be a good 1, says it's a killer duet with the 1 &
only real outlaw left going on out there &
says it's David Allan Coe. He says to not move & if you do, he'll come over & do a figure 4 on you.
9.Plays Confederate Railroad's "Still 1 Outlaw Left", Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Workin' For
MCA", a clip of "Mean" Gene Okerlund doing a promo about a team from Scotland,
Delbert McClinton's "Honky Tonkin'" & George Jones' "Just 1 More".
10.Hillbilly says earlier he played "The 5 Pound Bass & it brings him to introduce Uncle Percy Mandoberg via phone. Percy
asks him as to how's he doing this weekend,
Hillbilly says he's fine & fit as a fiddle. He
says the Memorial Day weekend's great & it's the 1st real holiday for the summer season, says he's ready for it & feels it'll be
a great weekend. Percy says he's reading his emails & 1 of them's from a young kid
that's on a blackberry, who tells Percy that
he's riding down the road with his parents
this weekend. He says the kid's name is
"Wig Dotson" is going to Georgia fishing &
he'll email him next week to say as to how
he did [while fishing].
Hillbilly hopes Wig has a big weekend &
Percy says the same, Hillbilly says he hears
that it'll be a scorching hot summer nationwide this year. He says it'll be real dry
with lots of drouts & other things going on,
says Percy's checking all that out because it
monitors as to what Percy will be doing.
Percy says that's true & 1 of the places that
he likes checking out when it's hot & dry is
in the Northwest areas. He says he called some folks in Idaho as to how's the fry fishing is up there in the Southfork of the
Snake River that's below the Palasades Dam. He says the folks there told him of
water coming from the dam's been reduced
some & fishing will be back to normal before he knows it.
Percy says they'll be catching some trout &
other fish on the dry flies & says he may have to run up there & check on them.
Hillbilly asks Percy if that's up his alley &
Percy says yes, then Percy hopes it's better
than the trip that he had last week in
Colorado. He says the folks there were nice
to him but he did some impromptu on some product testing on a Toyota over there that didn't come out too well. Hillbilly
asks Percy if he was in Victor, Colorado, Percy says yes & says he came from a side of
a mountain faster than he meant to.
Hillbilly asks him if he had the breaks suppled but were still going fast & Percy says yes.
Hillbilly hoped the Toyota was a rental car,
Percy says yes & says the folks there was
proud of him when he returned it. He then
gives a shout out to a couple of folks that
emailed him some recipes & says they're
Leslie Griffith & Jennifer Garner. He says
both ladies are cooking this evening & wants to hear some good music from he &
Hillbilly. He says he'll talk more about fishing & some recipes after the break,
Hillbilly says he'll play a block of tunes that'll knock their socks off. He says he'll
play some Merle Haggard, Charlie Daniels,
Canned Heat & says he'll kick this off
Hillbilly Jim style with Joe South.
11.Plays Joe South's "Games People Play",
Canned Heat's "Going Up The Country", a
promo for this Monday's "Memorial Day with Charlie Daniels" special that's from 6AM to Noon EST:
www.sirius.com/outlawcountry , The Charlie
Daniels Band's "Drinkin' My Baby Goodbye"
& Merle Haggard's "I Don't Want To Sober Up Tonight".
12.Hillbilly says when he hears "I Don't Want To Sober Up Tonight" it reminds him of 2 people, "The Commander" & another 1
that Percy knows & it's Joe Garmen. Percy
says that's true, Hillbilly feels that both of
them don't wanna sober up on any night &
Percy agrees. Hillbilly asks him as to what's
going on in the hunting & fishing world,
Percy says tomorrow night [5/27] he'll have
his fish fry & Hillbilly will be there to show
his technique on cleaning catfish. He says
he's getting ready to put some stuff on the
grill & it occured to him that both of them
haven't talked about injectors & some of the mixes that he likes putting on leaner
cuts of meat.
Percy says whether it's beef, pork or chicken & says he uses lots of gain... He says 1 of the things that he likes doing is play
around with different things to inject in the
meat if you're putting it in a smoker or on
the grill. He says he wants to talk about his
favorite recipe that has 4 ingredients & it's
olive oil, apple cider vinegar, beer & melts
some garlic salt. He says you heat up the olive oil with the garlic salt & it'll melt real
good & you can mix it. He says different people will like different purportions, says the more darker the meat & feels the more
vinegar you'll wanna put in. He says those
purportions kinda start out in equal parts of the 3 liquids & feels that people will like
it.
Percy says he likes it & for an outside rub, he likes mixing brown sugar with garlic salt
& wants folks to know about it. He says the
fans have been real nice about emailing him, says if they feel that he's giving them a
bad recipe they let him know it & says if they feel that he's giving them a good recipe they let him know it. He says he's really looking forward to hear from some
more folks & plugs his email
percymandoberg@yahoo.com . He says he
talked to his friend Marty this morning &
says they aught to have his email link on
Hillbilly's site within the next week or so. He
says he wants to talk about catfishing, says
every now & then as long as he's been doing this, some folks come & have a trick
that he don't know about.
Percy says he don't know how to do this &
is looking for someone to email him to tell
him how to do this. He then explains about some folks at the dock the other night that had a boat full of fish, says they told him
about "floating worms" & says there's some
sort of way to put air into an earthworm. He says you put a hook on the worm, float him off the bottom & says the fish just wear
it out. He asks Hillbilly if he's heard of anything like that, Hillbilly says he & Spike's
never heard of that & says he's been everywhere nationwide & has never heard of that. Percy says it may be a popular thing
but as long as he's been fishing he's never
heard of it before till this last weekend.
Percy says it must work because these folks
had lots of fish that they had to carry them
in 2 coolers. Hillbilly says before Percy leaves, he knows Percy's got mixed emotions about this & asks him on his feelings on the situation with Paris Hilton [going to jail for 45 days] because Percy's a
big fan of hers. Percy says if Paris wanted to, she can be his next ex-wife & feels she's
done a terrible injustice. He says anyone else going down the street would've gotten
a $60 fine but they put her in jail for 45 days. Hillbilly asks him if he feels that Paris'
been "persecuted", Percy thinks he's the only person in the world that feels sorry for
her & hopes she calls him & he'll
"camiserate" with her.
Hillbilly says he's looking forward to the fish fry & says in honor of that, from the new album "Reinventing The Wheel" is Asleep At The Wheel's "Saturday Night Fish
Fry". He tells Percy that he'll talk to him next week & Percy says he'll talk to him too.
13.Plays Asleep At The Wheel's "Saturday
Night Fish Fry", Jimmy Newman's
"Louisiana Saturday Night", Hank Williams
Jr.'s "The American Way" & Dolly Parton's
"Old Flames".
14.Hillbilly says "Old Flames" is a great tune
& it's from her "Greatest Hits" album, says
we love her & Dollywood & says if anyone's
near East Tennesse to check out Dollywood.
He says it's nice over there, tells Spike that
he's seen some because they've got some
good country hillbillies there. He says they've got some "Hill-Billions" like the ones that listen to him weekly. He thanks
Percy for telling him of what's going on, says that's a tender spot about Percy & Paris because Percy seems to have a problem with her getting all that time. He
says Percy thinks Paris' been wronged & a
woman that's been scorned & done wrong.
Hillbilly says Percy's on his own on that 1
because most people in America don't feel
like that, then says he's thinking about back
in the day when he was a younger hillbilly
there was some songs that was great for him. He says he remembers listening to some radio songs when he was a little boy & would listen to Chicago's WLS & would
always here this song ["Only The Strong
Survive"] on their "Late At The Evening Time" by this guy [Jerry Butler], who's 1 of the sharpest dressed guys & is a great singer. He says the guy's dubbed "The Ice
Man" because 1 time he performed at the
Philadelphia Theater & the sound system
stopped. He says the guy didn't stop but just kept on singing & says we love his voice
& he can keep on singing.
15.Plays Jerry Butler's "Only The Strong
Survive", Rolling Stones' "Sweet Virginia",
Hulk Hogan's Hillbilly Jim promo & Johnny
Paycheck's "Take This Job & Shove It".
16.Hillbilly says "Take This Job & Shove It" is
a great David Allan Coe song that's done just right by Paycheck & says he knows lots of folks out there would love to say that title & feels it's probably the American way.
He says he likes doing the independent thing, says that's why lots of truckers out
there get on the highway, have it their way, stop when they need to & kinda do what
they want to. He says it's kinda the outlaw
way & says that's why he's on Outlaw
Country by playing them all for you. He again plugs his email & toll free request line & says he really wants to hear from you.
Hillbilly says he heard that George Foreman
who's a boxer & more famous for his George Foreman grills, says we all got 2 or 3 of those & says he's got 2 of them in the
house somewhere if he can find them. He
says George recently said that he felt that he was drugged in his famous "Rumble In
The Jungle" fight vs Muhammed Ali in '74 in
Africa. He says he's seen that fight lots of
times & feels George acted kinda
"lathargic", says that George's made no
excuses for it, says he got beat fair &
square & says that George's stated that if
you've seen the film, he was laying on the
canvas & got pounded.
Hillbilly says that George's said that he was thinking on that 1 & says his career wasn't the same, says it took him years to recover
from it & fired his cornerman after that because when George asked the guy as to
what's in this [his drinking cup] & says that
his cornerman told him that it's the same
water that he's been giving him. He says
that George felt that it wasn't the same water that his cornerman's been giving him,
says we don't know if it was or wasn't & says that George didn't try to say that he
would've won that fight either way & took it like a man.
Hillbilly says that's a sports tibit there for the sports fans out there, then says for the Outlaw Country billions out there who likes a legend & says if you like an outlaw, how can you get better than this man [Waylon
Jennings]. He says this tune ["Rose In Paradise"] is 1 of his best & it's why he chose it for this week.
17.Plays Waylon Jennings' "Rose In Paradise", The Byrds' "Lay Lady Lay", The
Derailers' "Boomerang Heart" & Loretta Lynn's "You Ain't Woman Enough".
18.Hillbilly says Lynn's Kentucky's own queen of the coal mines, says you're riding
with him wherever you're at anywhere in
North America & says he loves & appreciates you for being with him. He says
he's trying to look for Spike but can't find
him anywhere, wonders as to where he is
because he needs him to do something for him. He says Spike's 2 or 3 fries short of a
Happy Meal & says he'll be back in a minute. He says he'll continue like always &
says he likes pulling up bands & things that
maybe a little bit different or out of the
world that you'd normally think you'd hear
on Outlaw Country. He says this next band
[Atlanta Rhythm Section] is really an outlaw
kind of band.
Hillbilly says the band's kind of part of this
southern rock kind of thing & says he's enjoyed them for a long time. He says the
band started out being an official studio
band, then before that in the early 70's they
were called "The Candy Men" then "The Classics 4" that had a couple of hits out. He
says they opened up a studio in Doorville,
Georgia that's outside of Atlanta, says they
were a house band there like Booker T & The MG's were in Stax [Studios]. He says the guys played on hit after hit from other
artists & finally they decided that they'd just
wanna go & do their own thing by recording some of their own songs. He says
they had a whole list of hits & now he'll give
you a treat by them doing a cover of a ZZ
Top song.
19.Plays Atlanta Rhythm Section's Medley:"Sharp Dressed Man"/"Gimme All Your Loving", Willie Nelson's "Shotgun
Willie", John Anderson's "Seminole Wind",
Jessi Colter's Outlaw Country promo & Jessi
Colter's "Why You Been Gone So Long".
20.Hillbilly says "Why You Been Gone So Long" is a Mickey Newbury tune & it's done
just right by Colter that's from her successful album. He says it got all started in Nashville for that outlaw sound & it's called "Wanted:The Outlaws". He says you're riding on the show with him weekly
& it's done Hillbilly Jim style by slamming on you, getting you in the ring, putting the
headlock on you & kinda scuffling it up a little bit. He asks if you like it, says he does & says the moonshine barrel's not even ½
empty because he's got lots of tunes to play
for y'all.
Hillbilly says he'll now play a special
requested song ["Take These Chains From My Heart"] for a cat that wrote him a nice
email, says he appreciates it very much & says it's Eric Braton from Regina,
Saskatchewan, Canada. He tells Eric that it's
good to hear from him & will play a great
tune that's been around for years, says it
was originally written by Hank Williams &
it's done just right by The Kentucky
Headhunters.
21.Plays The Kentucky Headhunters' "Take
These Chains From My Heart", Neil Young's
"Cinnamon Girl", a clip of Okerlund talking
about a team coming from places like Mud
Lick, Steve Earle's "Hometown Blues" &
Lucinda Williams' "Learning How To Live".
22.Hillbilly says "Learning How To Live" is 1 of the new songs that he promised earlier,
says Spike just came back in & asked him as to where's he been. He tells Spike to not look at him like a dying cat wanting milk &
tells him that he was looking for him because he needed him, then tells him that
he's trying to do his show & asks him if he's
with him or not. He tells him that they're a team, says Cowboy Jack Clement's got Alamo [Jones] with him all the time & when
Clement wants Alamo who's his trusty sidekick in black, he's there with him:
www.sirius.com/outlawcountry . He asks
Spike to say something, there's a muffled
sneeze & a muffled "sorry" that's heard.
Hillbilly says as you can tell it's business as
usual in Mud Lick by trying to do what he
always does & says Spike's doing what he
always does. He says this whole thing to him is about the song, says when he plays a
song & if it's a great 1 in '53, it'll be a good 1 in 2007 & 2008. He says it's so much about
the great songwriters that he loves getting
these tunes that they do, then says when you put it in a great artist hands & let him or her do their magic to it, it comes out
great. He says this song ["Wichita Lineman"]
was written by Jimmy Webb in '68, says it's
been covered many times & says this version appeared on this guy's '68 album.
Hillbilly says it was #3 on the American charts & remained in the top 100 for 15 weeks. He says that was some big stuff in those days, says the song sounds just as good as it ever has.
23.Plays Glen Campbell's "Wichita Lineman",
The Band & The Crickets' "Not Fade Away",
Marty Stuart's Hillbilly Jim promo, Marty
Stuart & Johnny Cash's "Doin' My Time".
24.Hillbilly says Stuart's quite a performer &
is 1 of the long line of superstars that learned it & learned it well. He says Stuart
sat at the learning tree with all these guys & knows that entire country background
that's all the way back to Hank Williams. He
says Stuart's a great producer also &
produced a new Porter Wagoner album
that'll be out in June called "The Wagonmaster":
http://************/3ybfme & says he'll get that album & play some of
that on the show. He says on Memorial Day
weekend everyone's out there cooking,
having fun & doing their thing & says you
need to make sure that you gather around
your Sirius radio on ch.63 & plugs the Charlie Daniels Memorial Day special.
Hillbilly says Charlie will play some great
tunes for you on that day, will get behind the wheel & will drive the outlaw machine
all down the road on Memorial Day. He says
Charlie will sit in for our "RigRocker", says
it'll be a 6 hour run that'll be something else & says he'll be checking it out. He says
he'll now give you a tune ["The Year That Clayton Delaney Died"] with a Kentucky
flavor, says this guy [Tom T. Hall] is 1 that
he's proud of who's born & raised in
Kentucky & still hails from there. He says
the guy's 1 of the greatest singers/songwriters that you'd ever wanna
hear & says this tune's 1 of his best.
25.Plays Tom T. Hall's "The Year That Clayton Delaney Died", Hank Williams'
"Jambalaya [On The Bayou]" & Hank Williams III's "I'm A Long Gone Daddy".
26.Hillbilly says Hank III's doing a tribute to
his grandpappy [Hank Sr.] with "I'm A Long Gone Daddy", says you're riding with him &
says it's me, it's me with Spike & just living it up fine. He says it's time for "This Week In
Wrestling History" & explains to those that
haven't heard of it before as to what that is. He says in 2000 HHH beat The Rock for the WWE [then WWF] title, says in 2001 Kane beat HHH for the Intercontinental title
& says in '97, Stone Cold Steve Austin & HBK beat Owen Heart & Davey Boy Smith for the tag titles. He says he's wrestled
Austin, Owen, Davey Boy & HBK. He says he
likes to bring this segment to you just about every week, then corrects himself &
says not every week but likes to drop it on
you from time to time.
Hillbilly says he'll segway into something that he really loves, says when he 1st heard
this album it blew his socks off. He says it
was powerful, amazing, had some of the
best guitar work that you'd ever wanna hear on it, had the blues feel to it & above all, it was live. He says it was 1 of the best
live albums that's ever been recorded & was
recorded at Bill Graham's Fillmore East many years. He says the band's southern
rock royality & says it's The Allman Brothers.
27.Plays The Allman Brothers Band's "You
Don't Love Me" live from 3/12/1971, Dale
Watson's Hillbilly Jim promo & Dale Watson's "Hollywood Hillbilly".
28.Hillbilly says Dale's from Texas with
"Hollywood Hillbilly" being new music by him & says it sounds good. He says his show's perculating & says he's got better than a ¼ of a tank left in his tank to give you some high octane Hillbilly Jim tunes with some of the best that's ever been. He
then talks about WWE winning an award
for the Wrestlemania 2006 Fan Axxess tour,
says it's a gold award in the Mobile
Marketing category from Corporate Event
magazine. He says he was a part of that &
has been part of that for 4 years, says the
other winners of that award was Microsoft,
Xerox, Ford & Volkswagen & says Spike's
got an old Ford pickup truck as well.
Hillbilly says he hopes to get an award for what he's done last year, says maybe he'll
get a chance they'll [WWE] call him up & let
him do another 1 because Wrestlemania
next year will be in Florida. He asks Spike to
come with him in Orlando & he'll take him to Disneyworld, says Percy never took him there & says Spike needs to see Mickey
Mouse. Then there's some quiet mumbling
from "Spike" being heard, Hillbilly says
Spike's as goofy as he can be & says like he
said last week, Spike's as useful as a bucket
tucked under a bull because he don't do
much. He says Spike's kin & has to put up with him & says he'll play a tune ["39 & Holding"] by a man [Jerry Lee Lewis] that's
done a lot from the 50's. He says the guy's
on the road, says if you get a chance to go
see him, don't miss him.
29.Plays Jerry Lee Lewis' "39 & Holding",
John Prine & Iris DeMent's "[We're Not] The
Jet Set" & Mac Wiseman's "Step It Up & Go".
30.Hillbilly says Mac Wiseman & John Prine's got an album out, says both have been working with some good stuff & the
album's got real good tracks. He says he
talked to John a few weeks ago about it, says that John said that he's happy the way
it turned out. He says Mac's bluegrass
royalty & says John's someone that stands
on his own. He again says that he's happy
that you're here with him & again plugs his
email & toll free request line & wants to
hear your comments. He says he's been thinking of our health & says everyone's
gotta be careful about our weight problem.
He says watching your weight & being obese ain't just bad for your heart but it's
bad for your joints also.
Hillbilly says every pound of extra weight that you carry, says Spike's got some extra
on him because he's been eating that pig,
some of Granny's home cooking & some
possom fritters & says he can tell. He says for every extra pound that you carry on your body, you put about 7 lbs of weight on
the joint behind your kneecaps. He says if
you're 15 lbs overweight, you're putting more than 100 lbs of extra pressure on the
knees every time you walk. He says to be
careful out there & get a little active, says to
get out there & get some exercise even if it's just a little walking around. He says to
take care of yourselves & exercise a little bit
smarter because he wants you around here
& just moving around & having fun & says
that's another "Healthful Hillbilly Jim Hint".
Hillbilly says let's go to a guy [Bob Dylan]
that's in all of the Hall Of Fames & says we
can hardly do a show without him because
his shadow's wide & goes across the music
industry. He says here's a tune that he loves
so well.
31.Plays Bob Dylan's "Lay Lady Lay", Joe Ely's Hillbilly Jim promo, Joe Ely's "Dallas" &
Buck Owens' "Above & Beyond".
32.Hillbilly says that's exactly what he's been talking about & what he's been preaching to y'all. He says when a great
songwriter Harland Howard comes out with
"Above & Beyond" & a great artist like
Owens gets together, you've got magic &
says that's what he's got on his show. He
asks if you feel him, says Outlaw Country's
got a host of them & says it don't matter if
it's "The Loon In The Afternoon" [Mojo
Nixon], "The RigRocker", Clement coming
after him or Shooter Jennings, it's got it all
covered with all of your musical needs. He
says in Kentucky he's heard other things
going on & heard that it's been 142 after
Abraham Lincoln's been assasinated & says
Lincoln's still making medical headlines.
Hillbilly says it's famous that Lincoln had a
heart condition, eye problems, depression &
other elements & says they're now saying that he may've had smallpox. He says Lincoln had some simptoms with dizziness,
weakness, rashes that he had on him & says
it was quite common during those times for
people to have smallpox. He says especially
since Lincoln was around some of the
soldiers during the Civil War & says they're
now saying that Lincoln may've been around where a full blown smallpox outbreak was. He says Lincoln had a
Kentucky connection because he was born
there, says Illinois claims Lincoln but was
born & raised in Kentucky.
Hillbilly says you better hold onto your
horses for this song ["That's The Way It
Goes"], says to strap onto what you got &
hold on because this next cat [Jimmy
Lafave] is a flat out Chuck Berry style rocker
who's an Oakie born Texas face.

you don't wanna miss this & for more info,

http://************/2acbs3 . He says this is the Summer Of Love's 40 year anniversary,
says in '67 it was happening in San
Francisco with all the hippy movements out
there.
Hillbilly says that was the year that it also
really died because they said by the time '67
& '68 got there, the whole thing went from
love to people just bumming for money &
people being high on drugs & stuff. He says
it was a bad scene, says the scene was
officially closed when they decided to have a little walk down the street or a demonstration march of sorts. He says it was called "The Death Of Hippy", says it
proceded down Hate Street & says then the
whole thing was made official the next
spring when The Grateful Dead moved from
the Hate area to Marion County. He says to
the Dead Heads out there, you don't have to worry about driving 300 or 400 miles to
see them, but just listen to them on Sirius &
says he's fired up about it.
Hillbilly says he's fired up about this next
lady [Tammy Wynette], says she's a singer &
1 of the greatest of all time & says we gotta
bring her out here & let her just say this &
do this for you.
35.Plays Tammy Wynette's "Stand By Your
Man", The Marshall Tucker Band's "Windy
City Blues", a clip of Gorilla Monsoon & Okerlund talking about Hillbilly Jim being in the ring & Kris Kristofferson's "The Silver Tongued Devil & I".
36.Hillbilly says it's the end of his show &
sees that the whole moonshine barrel of
music's just about empty & says he promises that next week, he'll replemish,
restock, bring it back & satisfy your musical
thirst. He says whatever you got he'll quench it next week by having some tunes
for you that'll be better than you can
imagine. He says he promises that for next
week at the same time & same place on his
show. He thanks Spike for being with him for the time that he was in there with him &
says he knows that Spike was busy. He
thanks Percy for his woods & water report & then thanks his producer Steve Popavich
Jr. as well as the fans out there.
Hillbilly again says Clement's coming on
after him with a special guest that'll be
absolutely amazing & you don't wanna miss
it. He says he ain't here for a long time, he's
here for a good time & says thanks to you
for him having a great time. He says he'll see you next week, take care of yourselves
& your loved ones & says have a wonderful,
beautiful Memorial Day weekend.
