My neighbor and i were talking and he is a pharmacist or a doctor, not sure which. He said if he was on steroids and had even one beer, the results can be bad. The cocktail mixture of alcohol and steroids supposedly cause psychological episodes within a person depending on length of use and amount used. What im thinking might have happened is that he used and had a drink, killed his family during one such episode and, upon realizing what he had done, killed himself. This just sucks no matter how you slice it.

From my POV, i choose to remember the Chris Benoit that entertained me and caused me to really get into wrestling and not the unfortunate circumstances surrounding his death. I hope that his family and all those affected by this tragedy can find peace in some way

The deliberation and methodical nature of the tragedy suggest that steroids were not the cause.
