Now, I'm sure the majority of the people in this forum have the same thought that I do...Shawn Michaels should win the WWE Championship at Survivor Series. However...with HBK refusing to do international tours and house shows, would the WWE give HBK the championship?

Hmmm they might. I know alot of people are not happy with Orton as the champion...but to me he hasnt really gotten a chance to make it work. HBK has the "star power" and would probably be more over as WWE champ...so I could see it happen.

well wwe isnt showing much reason not to believe that considering hes making orton look like a chump beating him with a sweet chin music each week

I dunno, I'd like to see him get one more run, but the refusal to travel thing can't do him any favours.
He has had the upper hand over Orton in one way or another since he (Orton) won the belt, so I'd say Orton will retain in a SS classic. Then, hopefully, he can go on and be a 'proper' Champ.

I'd rather see him superkick orton's head off, get dq'd, but put orton on the shelf forcing them to strip him and have a championship tournament. it'd be a good way to get kennedy, hhh and jericho into the title mix. plus, i'd love to see shawn go heel and feud with jericho. that would be awesome.

Yeah a reverse feud of the HBK-Y2J feud from 03 would be so sweet.
But i cant imagine them giving HBK the title yet, the feud hasnt played out long enough. Unless he wins it, and Orton invokes his rematch, wins it back at Armageddon in a street fight or something, setting up possibly Y2J v Orton for the Rumble.

I think that HBK should be champion. Orton was really pushing himself during his chase for the belt then just got lazy when he got the belt, I mean he messed up his finisher against Jeff Hardy and also hurt him. Even if HBK does not want to do International tours, he would be a better on-screen champion than Orton plus I have a feeling he will win it as USA is requesting that older guys from the Attitude Era be brought back up. I also have a feeling that HBK and Jericho may feud soon, which doesn't sound bad to me at all

HBK becomin the champ, that's really a long shot... with him refusing to many things, the chances of him becomin champ, are nil... although, Orton retainin and goin on to face Jericho, seems really good... and I wud love to see Jericho with the title once again...
