    Column: WWE’s Goldmine of Talent

WWE has many “gold” superstars sitting in their locker room right now. When I say ‘gold’ I don’t mean they’re literally gold, I mean that they are very talented and, if pushed right, could be ‘big money’. I have listed them in the order I believe they are most deserving: here they are, for you, dear reader…

    In order of most deserving:

Christian - He has worked so damn hard his entire career to get to this point. Just because he worked for a rival promotion doesn’t make him “no good” as McMahon sees him. Christian is the most talented guy in the ECW locker room, and dammit he deserves a push.

MVP - The gimmick is awesome, the mic skills are awesome, the in-ring work in very good. Why isn’t this guy being build for main event superstardom? Everyone I speak to love MVP’s work. It’s just for Vinnie Mac to see “the potential” for him to get there.

CM Punk - For some reason, one of my all-time favourites. In the ring, he can get it done. His character is unique, and he has all the tools to become a big dog in the very big yard that is the WWE. With him now holding his second Money in the Bank title, it’s looking very good for the Punker!

John Morrison - If WWE were to tweak his character a bit, I’m sure they could really get him over as a big money man. Morrison’s in-ring work is great. Get him away from The Miz, put him on SmackDown and you’ve got yourself some gold.

Mr Kennedy - If he can stay healthy, he’s going to be an awesome top guy in the company. Kennedy is amazing on the mic, his in ring stuff is good too. Stay healthy and it’s a matter of time.

Shelton Benjamin - The biggest problem I see here is Benjamin’s character. While ‘The Gold Standard’ is very talented in the ring. His mic work and his overall character leaves a lot to be desired.

I think that about rounds out this column. If there’s someone I’ve missed, or there’s someone you would like to see as a main event guy. Please use the comment form below this column and send me your all important thoughts and opinions.

I disagree about Shelton. I think he is incredibly gifted, but he botches WAY too many moves.
