Nintendo Downloads Includes Bit Boy, Pulseman, and More
Nintendo has once again rolled out its weekly goods for downloadable purchasing, and this week comes loaded with quite a few titles. On WiiWare, we have Bit Boy!! for 600 Wii Points ($6 USD), in which Kubi (with the option of a co-op partner) sets out to rescue his friends through stages that emulate the styles of various gaming generations. Incoming! for 500 Wii Points ($5) sees the player using their arsenal to take down enemy tanks. Finally, Ant Nation for 700 Wii Points ($7) seems to be a Wii version of the DS title. Players manage an ant colony using the Wii remote, using lasers and fire to toughen them up for challenges. We assume PETA will not be pleased.
On the Virtual Console, this week features a couple of games that had been so far unavailable in the states. Secret Command for the Sega Master System was the European version of a Rambo title, and is available for 600 points. Pulseman, available for 900 points ($9), was a Japanese Genesis action platform game regarded for its polished graphics. Finally, on DSiWare, Gameloft ports its DS game Brain Challenge as a downloadable. Gameloft seems to be keeping Nintendo's stream of DSiWare coming with ports of their older games, but we have to wonder if the well is going to dry up soon.
