    Default SHEAMuS iS AWESoME!

    SHEAMuS iS AWESoME!
    John Nicoll

The purpose of this thread is to debate on whether you believe the style and character named Sheamus is good for Raw and will move Raw forward heading into 2010. Will the red-head take Raw to new levels or will he flop as a Champion?

A tremendous amount of pressure has been added to Sheamus, Considering the amount of time he's been on the WWE Roster. Michael Cole referenced at TLC that Sheamus hasn't even appeared on Raw for 2 months and he's the reigning WWE Champion. Some will say it's a contreversial manner as Sheamus defeated Former Champ Cena by tossing him through a Table, Not pinning him or making him submit.

On the run to TLC, Sheamus attacked several stars and even ended Jamie Nobles career. The main focus heading into the TLC match was that Sheamus was a ruthless wrestler who ended Nobles career, Surely he could take the Championship? He was built as a monster heel, Taking no prisoners and making sure that everyone noticed him. Not once did he get attacked by anyone. This all helped build up the character of Sheamus. He may not be the Rock on the microphone, But his accent gets people interested.

Some claim that it's far too soon, And that Sheamus' push should occur in a few months, Rather than now and while WWE are beginning the road to Wrestlemania. Some say it would be better for WWE to push him after Wrestlemania. But in my opinion, It was at the right time.

    Is Sheamus Awesome? Or Awful?

Truthfully he's too new for me to be anything other than indifferent atm. Was it risky to put the strap on him? Absolutely. Not since Brock Lesnar has WWE been this quick with a guy. It may work, it may not. We'll know by Royal Rumble what WWE thinks. I personally think MVP should've got it first, or somebody established outside the circle of HHH, Orton, & Cena. Though word is HHH loves Sheamus, so beyond that what WE think means squat. We're just along for the ride, we'll have to see where it goes.

    Ladies' Night
