Default Jake Shields: Maybe Tito Ortiz would like to fight me

Former EliteXC Welterwieght Champion and the reigning Strikeforce Middlewieght Champion, Jake Shields gave another thick hint about his future by challenging the UFC veteran Tito "The Huntington Beach Bad Boy" Ortiz. Shields did not rule out an option of going up in the weight to make the fight against Ortiz a reality:

"I feel stronger; feel like I'm good at 185. I think can do both still. Why pick one? Maybe I'll fight in 205 too. I'm not saying I'd be the best at 205, but I think I can beat some of these guys that are there. Maybe Tito Ortiz would want to fight me."

Jake Shields has successfully defended his title against the early favorite Dan Henderson, after completely dominating the former Pride Middleweight Champion during five rounds. Shields' fight against Henderson was the last on his Strikeforce contract, with the UFC President Dana White as the long time admirer of his talents. California-native Jake Shields is currently 25-4-1 in his MMA campaign, making his professional at CFF - The Cobra Qualifier in 1999.

Shields would destroy Ortiz, Tito hasnt been the beast he once was for at least 4 years.
