^^ I agree, it's the same thing all over again. I wonder if Cena has anything else in his reportuar, cause I've heard he say; I don't quit and You can't see me too many times!

If Punk is defeated then that's the SES and everything Punk has done recently down the drain. He will be bald and no-one will be able to take him seriously.
I'm sorry i just can not see a heel Rey Mysterio. So if he does lose it will be because outside interference. The hooded guy (Nitro) would likely be the one to help Punk. With saying that this might be what Rey needs right now. He has been becoming boring and predictable the past year or so.
As a matter of fact this could really damage what is left of Rey's career. I think it would make him a cross between a laughing stock and the next wrestler we have a pitty party over.

If there were more than 2 matches on the card that I wanted to see, I probably would have went to this ppv. Too bad.

I guess we will see a US Title Matchup on this PPV as well with either Bret Hart or Miz as the champ, regarding what happens at tonights RAW

Some of those matches are going to be good. Can't wait for Edge V.S. Orton. Kinda wanted to see a feud between them after Rated RKo broke up in early 2007. Hopefully Swagger can beat the Big Show. I guess that match is to help solidify Swagger as the WHC. Some of the matches I didn't really want to see was the I quit match between Batista and Cena. Their feud his alot better then there first one back in 2008 but its getting stale. Punks match with Rey Mysterio will be good. It would be great if Punk beats Mysterio and Mysterio turns hell and joins the SES.

Even if Punk does win, I doubt Rey will turn heel. He will be an unwilling servant of Punk most likely.

    How so?
It has Cena vs Batista and Edge vs Orton and if those 2 matches don't entertain you then I don't know what does because these 4 superstars are the top superstars in the WWE today and they're facing each other so yea

Cena vs Batista, not too jacked about since we've seen in several times heading into this. And I REALLY hate the "I will not give up" bullshit. What I'm hoping is we are getting setup for a nice swerve. Everyone thinking Batista is taking time off and leaving, everyone thinking no way Cena gives up, so everyone thinking Cena wins. But I see Sheamus getting involved here, without question, so lets see where that leads.

I like the way the card shaped up, mostly because of the new matches. Is Big Show vs Swagger for the title, going to be HBK vs HHH? Of course not, but its something fresh, new.

Kofi vs McIntrye should be a decent match, again, its something new. And got a really good build for the match. The whole thing with Drew getting stripped of the title, fired, a great match with Christian vs Kofi, then Drew getting his title back. That is a nice non main event storyline, that we don't always get.

Jericho and Miz vs the Harts, again its something new, hell how many times have the Harts had PPV match to begin with. Now I wasn't happy putting Jericho back into the tag team story, but there isn't much of a place for him otherwise, so it works.

Punk vs Mysterio we've obviously seen plenty of times recently, but its been one of the better feuds and needs to continue to its conclusion. Plus the matches between the two have been solid.

Edge vs Orton, really looking forward to that one. As many people have stated in other threads, would have been cool to see back in the RatedRKO days.

Not too excited about Rtruth vs Dibiase, but mostly because I don't like Rtruth. But again, how many times have either of these two had single matches on PPVs, something new.

I could care less about the chicks match.

And also want to see how they use this PPV to build up to the next PPV Fatal Fourway. (Big Show vs Swagger vs Punk vs Mysterio, and Edge vs Orton vs Cena vs Sheamus??)

    Match By Match Review:

Firstly, I'd like to say how much I laughed at the commentary that we were given on the show.. The amount of professionalism shown was unbelievable. Striker & Lawler just basically ripped eachother to shreads. There was genuine hatred shown. If you don't like someone, say something to them afterwards, not during the show.

    Kofi Kingston vs Drew McIntyre

This match wasn't as bad as I thought it would have been. The moves were somewhat ok & I'm gobsmacked at the outcome. I'm interested in where Drews character is heading & what the future is for him.

    CM Punk vs Rey Mysterio

A fantastic match. Mysterio bumped his head HARD! I think the blood incidents that stopped the match are annoying. Both Punk & Mysterio were "In a critical state" and how lame would it be for Mysterio to be bleeding so much that he had to quit & let Punk win. That was my first thoughts on the outcome. However, I think WWE have done a fantastic job at destroying the StraightEdgeSociety. Thanks, WWE.

The Hart Dynasty vs Team Jiz

The lack of build in the Jiz team had an impact on this match. However, it was a good match.

    Edge vs Randy Orton

This match got off to a slow start and even the fans chanted "BORING". After a few minutes of slow moves & submissions, the action got more lively... Until Orton pounds his fists on the mat & suffers an injury. The way it looked seemed Orton had hurt his hand off pounding on the match.. Striker did an awesome job of selling this "Earlier in the match, his left was hurting".. It's his right hand that's injured..Sheesh...

Jack Swagger vs The Big Show

This match was quite good, but not to the standards of a match between Swagger & Morrison. The whole finish just looked far too hurried & seemed like Jack panicked and whacked him one which showed Jack not to be a hero and a guy who can accomplish things (which he's based his gimmick around). The whole thing looked rushed and like WWE didn't have time for them - even if it was a WWE Championship match.

    John Cena vs Batista

This match wasn't as good as previous battles - like wM & ER. There was some real HOLY SHIT!! moments and I loved the end. That slam through the stage was hardly PG & was the most hardcore thing we've seen on WWE TV in ages.

    Overall, I enjoyed this PPV.

Highly disappointing PPV overall for me sadly.

Some reasoning WWEs own faults and some just plain bad luck. Either way the PPV was beset by problems.

Kofi vs Drew was a decent opening match with Kofi using his SOS to finish rather than the Trouble In Paradise which had been starting to get stale. Hardy attacking Drew after the match is a good continuation of their feud.

DiBiases vs Truth was disappointing and just seemed flat. Ive since learned DiBiases got concussed early on leading to a quick finish so there's at least a reason.

Rey vs Punk overall was a good match. The best of the night in general. The lengthy stoppage due to a little bit of blood on Punk was ridiculous though and had quite rightly got the crowd annoyed and chanting that it was boring. Credit to Punk though for reacting to that and carrying on with the match at pace.

Whilst I'm not happy with Jericho being wasted in the tag division Jerimiz vs The Hart Dynasty was a well worked match and happily so.

Orton vs Edge was the one I was most looking forward to and regrettably it never really got going. A slow start followed by Orton aggravating his shoulder on a seemingly basic scoop slam move killed it. Credit Orton for trynna work through it but the incredibly lame, unnecessary and stupid gimmick before the RKO really damaged his injury and the match had to be ended.

Big Show and Swaggers match was, well it was a non event. The DQ ending was fairly obvious but it seemed to happen so quickly and the whole thing just felt like it was rushed through so the main focus could be on getting Big Show over post match by casually shrugging off the weapon attacks and chokeslamming Swagger.

The horrible Maryse vs Eve match being put above the WWE Title on the card was all wrong to begin with. A nice standing moonsault by Eve was the only highlight really.

I missed Cena vs Batista but saw what happened on Raw.

On the whole a poor PPV with a lot of bad luck thrown in. Why promos and backstage skits after nearly every match? And even running adverts during a PPV were poor decisions by WWE.

Hopefully they'll realise how poor this show was and put a lot of effort into making sure Fatal Four Way makes amends for it.
