MAJOR UPDATES TO CONTENDERS CUP BELOW AS WE HEAR FROM BRYCE BENJAMIN, & ARE FORCED TO REPLACE SCOTTY 2 HOTTY FOR 2/26 AFTER CLASH RECEIVED CORRESPONDENCE THIS WEEKEND FROM THE THE FORMER TAG CHAMP:
CLASH Blog: Tag Champion Bryce Benjamin (02/11/11)
February 11, 2011
July 16th, 2010. Joey Marx and myself hit the CLASH scene, and we hit it hard. In our debut we went on to become the 2010 NPCI Tag Team Tournament winners, an honor in it’s own right. It’s been one hell of a ride since then, not only are Too Sweet undefeated in tag team action, we are currently the CLASH Wrestling Tag Team champions, and trust me there is no greater feeling then that!
But come February 26th, I face a whole new challenge. You know a wise man once told me that , “a true friend will always have your back, but it is when you stand alone that you truly become a man.”
At the Contenders Cup, I will face this test. I will stand in the CLASH ring alone against Austin Manix, an opponent that I’m not taking lightly at all. I am well aware that Manix is a very dangerous competitor. But in the face of danger I am at my best. I will be no easy feat for Austin and I assure everyone that I will prove to be the better man on February 26th!
Austin Manix, The Bryce Is Right, Come On Down!

February 14, 2011
It was learned over this past weekend that due to a personal matter, Scotty 2 Hotty will not be able to attend February 26th’s Contenders Cup event. In an email addressed to CLASH management and fans, Scotty apologized for canceling his return to CLASH Wrestling. “I am incredibly sorry for this inconvenience. I anxiously await making my return to CLASH Wrestling and promise to make up this matter to my CLASH fans in the VERY near future.” stated the former multiple time WWE Tag Team Champion.
With a spot in February 26th’s Contenders Cup Match open, CLASH officials decided to contact another competitor not seen in a CLASH ring since August 2008: Sharkboy! Last seen mouthing off to then CEO Jeremy Jones, the current TNA star has accepted the offer and will be one of 6 participants in the main event on February 26th. What will happen when the Man From The Deep Blue Sea makes his CLASH return? There’s only one way to find out!
