We are live on tape from Birmingham, Alabama and your announcers are Matt ‘Home State of the National Champion Auburn Tigers’ Striker, Michael ‘Why Can’t the Miz be on this show too’ Cole and Josh ‘Who will be the ‘Josh Mathews’ of the new Tough Enough’ Mathews.

While Alberto Del Rio comes to the ring, Cole, Mathews, and Striker talk about what Alberto did on Raw on Monday night when Alberto confronted Shawn Michaels. Their accounts of what happened differ slightly.

Alberto reminds us his name and Cole steps on his line. Alberto says that the people in the South are a bit slow. However, they know that there is no one like him on Raw or Smackdown. He tells everyone not to get angry because it isn’t his fault. It is his destiny. He will destroy their dreams and their hero’s dreams when he wins the Royal Rumble. He told Shawn Michaels that after he wins, he will be known as the new Mr. Wrestlemania.

Truth says that the Royal Rumble is a few weeks away but Del Rio has lost his mind. Truth tells Pancho that Alberto can’t win Royal Rumble because you have a bunch of fancy cars. You can’t win the Royal Rumble because you have a creepy creepy ring announcer. You can’t win because of destiny. A championship match on the world’s biggest stage isn’t something you can buy or inherit, you have to earn that on your own. You earn that by stepping up to the plate like a man. The man that Alberto can’t be.

Cody Rhodes comes out to the ring after making sure that he is truly ‘dashing’. He tells Alberto and Truth that dashing is in at the Royal Rumble and everyone else is out. He says that he is the face that will main event Wrestlemania.

Rey Mysterio comes out and he wants to get something straight. Winning the Royal Rumble isn’t about looking like a diva as he addresses Cody. He tells Alberto that it isn’t about destiny. Rey says that it is about beating the odds. It is about surviving and that is what Rey has been doing his whole entire life.

Alberto tells Rey that no one wants to hear his inspirational stories and he will beat him like the dog he is. Rey asks Alberto how many Royal Rumbles he has won and Rey points out that he hasn’t won any. Rey mentions that he won a Royal Rumble.

Cody says that Rey winning the Royal Rumble is so 2006. Just like the fashion of 2006, he is out of style. He tells Truth that is ‘what’s up’.

Truth wants to know if we are stealing catch phrases and he punches Cody. All four men fight with Rey and Cody pairing up while Truth and Del Rio fight on the other side of the ring.

2012 - The fabled ECW Arena on the corner of Swanson and Ritner Streets in South Philadelphia, PA closed as a venue after it was taken over by new management. A year later, the venue, slated for major remodeling, sits vacant and has not hosted any events, nor has its been reconstructed. The venue, which became one of the most legendary buildings in wrestling history during the run of Extreme Championship Wrestling, hosted independent shows all through the end of its existence.

On its final night as a wrestling venue (the final event in the facility was a boxing event), CZW and EVOLVE both hosted live events....

Mike Johnson filed the following CZW live coverage:

Welcome to PWInsider.com's dueling coverage of CZW's final event at the ECW Arena in South Philadelphia, PA. I'll be doing live ongoing coverage while Stu Carapola will be posting ongoing thoughts from the show. Later tonight, we'll switch roles for EVOLVE 10.

CZW opened up with Greg Excellent, who earned the right to have power over tonight's show, with promoter Maven Bentley and Roger Argitiani, who is departing as the leaseholder of the ECW Arena.

Bentley said that he wanted to welcome everyone to the best wrestling Arena in the world. The fans chanted "ECW" and "CZW." Bentley said that they've been here for years and they wanted to publicly thank Roger for allowing them back when they were told to hit the bricks and for allowing them to do the style they are famous for.

Roger took the mic and said that there are many people who need to be thanked for all the years of running in the building. He thanked the staff of the concession stands for servicing the fans all these years. The crowd chanted, "Juicy Hotdogs." Roger then asked that all the performers on tonight's show come out to ringside. The locker room came out. He said that he wanted to thank everyone who was here, who was ever here and who hopefully one day will get to come back here on day for all the years of performing in the building.

Roger then thanked Michael Pancoast, who headed up the production in the building. He turned to Bentley and said that it was a pleasure doing business with him. He asked for Hyde to come out and he didn't come out so Roger said, "OK go f*** yourself." Roger then asked all the fans to give themselves a round of applause. He asked that everyone enjoy the show.

Bentley then said that while they were asked to take the banners down by the owners of the building, they want Trent Acid, JC Bailey and Chris Cash that they are all missed and they are watching tonight. They opened a bottle of champagne and sprayed it in their honor. Bentley offered the mic to Excellent.

Excellent did some mic work saying that he was in charge and was giving out contracts today to everyone because he just doesn't care. He said that he wanted to introduce his Genie in a Bottle, DJ Hyde. Hyde came out dressed like a genie, complete with a turban. Excellent said that been screwing and messing with people, including former employee Dru Blood, who was fired at Cage of Death by Hyde. Excellent announced that he signed himself to a new deal where he can't be fired by Hyde and then announced that Blood was re-hired as a referee. Excellent announced that Hyde vs. Zandig would close the show tonight. He then announced that someone called and asked for a match tonight and would be facing Hyde in a warm-up match tonight. Out came Whacks, CZW's old photographer turned hardcore wrestler.

Whacks vs. DJ Hyde

Whacks went right after Hyde and was shoulderblocked down. It didn't look pretty. Hyde chopped him against the ropes and hit a sideslam but Dru Blood didn't want to count the fall. Hyde screamed at him, asking what he was doing. Whacks nailed several forearms but was hit with a clothesline. Same result. Blood didn't want to count the fall. Hyde argued with Blood and was nailed by Whacks, who then hit a back senton splash off the ropes for a quick pinfall win.

Your winner, Whacks!

Not much of a match, but more of a chance for Whacks to come out and work in front of the fans one last time, plus it allowed Blood and Excellent to "get back" a little at Hyde for all he's pulled.

Derek Frazier vs. Ryan McBride

Frazier told the referee that he should get out of the ring because he brought his own referee. Out came Rockin' Rebel. My God, they are ALL coming out of the woodwork tonight. Rebel took the mic and ripped on the ring announcer, who was absolutely horrible (Larry Legend was away on a vacation in the Bahamas). Rebel said that he's been here for 19 years and said that he was f***ing all their mothers then and the only reason they are here now is their mothers stopped sucking c***. He ripped on the fans, doing some lame racial mic work.

Frazier hid in the crowd as McBride came to the ring and attacked him in the aisle. He worked over McBride with chops at ringside. McBride fired back with chops of his own. McBride placed Frazier against the railing and chopped away at him. They brawled around ringside. Frazier went for a Russian legsweep on the floor but McBride kicked him off. They returned to the ring, where McBride controlled the match and worked over Frazier's knee.

McBride went for a Sharpshooter but Frazier slipped out. He went for a kick but missed and McBride drilled him. Frazier was nailed with a German suplex. McBride nailed him with an enziguiri and came off the ropes with a frog splash for a two count. He loaded up for a running forearm but Frazier moved. He drilled McBride with a kick to the head and drove him into the ring with a flatliner off the second rope while McBride was hanging. Frazier scored a two count.

McBride reversed a suplex attempt but Frazier turned it into like a reverse standing Buff Blockbuster for a two count. Frazier took his knee brace off and prepared to use it as a weapon. McBride ducked and Rebel was nailed. McBride hit a leap into a Death Valley Driver and scored the pin as the originally dispatched referee returned.

Rebel recovered and thanked everyone for all their support of the building all these years.

Nation got a huge reaction and the fans chanted his name on the way out.

CZW Tag Team champs Azrieal & Bandido Jr. vs. BLKOUT's Alex Colon & Ruckus (with Chrissy Rivera and Robby Mireno)

Colon and Azrieal opened up and they went back and forth. Coloin went for a facewash against the ringpost but Azrieal moved. They traded armdrags and hiptosses. Ruckus tagged in and they went into a series of fast paced sequences including Rivera teasing a dive.

Bandido cut off Ruckus with a leg lariat but was caught with an inverted atomic drop. BLK OUT tagged in and out, working over the champs. They did the Backseat Boyz' Dream Sequence, which had to be a shout out to Trent Acid. The champs cut off Colon and worked him over. Colon shoved Azrieal off the ropes and came off with a leaping knee to the back of the neck.

All four brawled. Rivera snuck into the ring and tripped up Azrieal. She went to the top and did a dive to the floor onto everyone else who was brawling on the floor. It looked like she almost came up short, which would have been scary. Back in the ring, Ruckus nailed the Razzle Dazzle on Azrieal and did a rolling suplex into the corner.

The Runaways hit the ring and attacked BLK OUT, laying them out.

They announced it was a no contest.

The champions weren't happy with the interference and started brawling with the Runaways. They laid them out and their valet Kimber Lee was left in the ring with BLK OUT and the champs. Rivera attacked her and laid her out, then nailed a Facewash in the corner. She set up for another but the Runaways pulled her out.

Robby Mireno took the mic and told the Runaways "Any time, any building, anywhere on the face of the planet" they could go at it. They brawled briefly in the aisles.

Callihan tied up his knee but Swann escaped. Callihan went for the Stretch Muffler but Swann kicked him off and nailed a stiff dropkick. Swann went for a flip dive off the apron but Callihan jumped back on the ring and Swann hit the railing.

Callihan worked over Swann on the floor, sending him into the railing and chopping and kicking away at him. Sami charged and chopped Swann so hard he flipped over the railing and landed in the first row. Swann barely made it back into the ring and when he did, Callihan cut him off and held him on the mat, beating the back of Swann's neck and back.

Swann fought back and chopped away at him. Callihan drilled him back but Swann came out of a whip and nailed a leaping clothesline that flipped Callihan over then used a spinning head scissors to drill Callihan head first into the mat. Excellent match. Best of the show so far.

They showed each other respect and hugged after the match.

Greg Excellent vs. Mia Yim (with Adam Cole)

This is a rematch from their awesome bout at Night of Infamy, which was entertaining as hell. Excellent, who is in charge, announced that all "douchebags in green tights" must leave ringside, so Cole had to leave. He and Yim weren't happy.

They locked up and Excellent shoved her down. She immediately attacked him with strikes and kicks. Excellent fired back. She slapped him. He chopped her across the chest. She slapped him and he slapped her back. She came off the ropes with an elbow and dropkicked him in the face, sending Excellent to the floor.

On the apron, Yim charged him but he ducked it and clotheslined her legs. She bumped to the floor. He grabbed her in a wheelbarrow and slammed her into the ringpost. He worked her over on the floor and had fans hold her by the arms so he could grab her by the nipples. Seriously. He then grabbed her face and motorboated her into his chest. He continued working her over and tossed Yim back into the ring.
