CM Punk makes his way to the ring because his music is playing.
We see what happened on last week’s Raw when Roman Reigns speared CM Punk and then Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins joined Reigns to give Punk the Cerberus Bomb.
Punk says for one entire week he has been thinking about why The Shield attacked him. Then tonight in Oklahoma City, he realized that he is in denial. He knows deep down why he was attacked, but he wants to be wrong this one time. He made the cardinal sin of criticizing Triple H on Raw.
It was one of those comments. He said that Hunter lacked creativity, or something else. Later in the show, he is attacked by The Shield. Who is he to question the mighty King of Kings. Punk says that he hopes it is a coincidence. If not, he knows what is behind that door.
Punk says that he likes living in his own universe. Hunter isn’t that dense to kick a living hornet’s nest. He isn’t that dense to pick a fight with someone who prides himself in being one of the biggest anti-authority figures in the WWE.
If Punk is right, the Authority are the biggest group of sorry, ignorant, douchebags he has ever encountered in his life.
Stephanie McMahon, one of the principal owners of WWE, makes her way onto the stage. Stephanie tells Punk that she hopes him and everyone else had a good Thanksgiving. She says that there are no bigger advocates of free speech than her family. Her husband is one of the founding members of Degeneration X.
Are they in kindergarten to have Triple H send the Shield out if Punk says something about him.
Stephanie says that they will not want to impose their standards and beliefs on Punk. They were just as upset as Punk was when the Shield attacked him last week.
Punk says that he does not believe Stephanie.
Stephanie says that notwithstanding Punk’s ego, there are bigger things to deal with like the contract signing for the monumental Title versus Title match at TLC. If Punk has any grievances, he can address them to their Director of Operations, Kane.
Kane says that he is here to make sure that WWE runs smoothly. The findings of Punk’s accusations support Stephanie’s claims that they did nothing wrong and the Authority is absolved.
He asks Kane if he has any questions.
Punk wants to know when Kane became the Big Red Ass Kisser.
Kane tells Punk not to take this lightly and Punk tells Kane not to patronize him. Kane tells Punk that they are not the enemy and he advises Punk not to go down this path.
Punk says that we will go down a different path. Since Kane sold out and hung up his mask for a cheap suit. Why not come to the ring so he can be knocked out. He says that he can knock out Kane or make him go to sleep.
Stephanie keeps Kane from going to the ring.
The Shield’s music plays and Stephanie is shocked at their appearance.
Stephanie stops the Shield and she says that we will not have a repeat of what happened last week. CM Punk is to be respected and admired.
Stephanie leaves and then Kane says that he is also to be challenged. CM Punk will be in a handicap match at TLC against all three members of the Shield.
Michael Cole reads a note that there will be one champion at the end of TLC. It is time to go to the WWE App to vote for the ‘title’ of the new champion.

We are back and it is time to see what the WWE Universe wants the winner of the match at TLC to be called. They want the person to be known as the Unified Champion.
Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, a principal owner of WWE, make their way to the ring down the ramp past chairs, ladders, and tables.
Hunter says in two weeks at TLC, one of the most monumental matches in WWE has been scheduled. For the first time, the WWE Title and the World Title will be hanging above this ring. John Cena and Randy Orton will compete in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Match. The winner will walk out, not only as a Champion, but THE Champion.
Stephanie says that there will be one unified undisputed champion. Stephanie says that they guarantee it.
She brings out Randy Orton first. He is followed by John Cena.
Hunter thanks them for coming out to the ring. He tells them they can sit or stand.
Stephanie says that she got the message that Randy is bigger than the WWE.
Hunter says that Randy holds a title with a rich history. From Buddy Rodgers to Bruno Sammartino to Bob Backlund to Steve Austin to the Rock. Stephanie mentions that Triple H has held that title too.
John Cena is the World Champion. A title with a longer lineage. Going back to Gotch, Thesz, O’Connor, Harley Race, Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes, Undertaker, Shawn Michaels. Stephanie mentions that Triple H held that title too.
This match was not made based on the suggestion of John Cena, but before they could commit to the match, they had to know that both men could carry on as the face of the WWE.
Both men have earned their place in history, but with the whole world watching, they have a moment in time to cement their legacy forever.
Hunter wants them to make it official. Randy signs it first and then John signs it.
Stephanie says that both men have an opportunity to Speak about this historic match up.
Randy goes first. He tells honey that she is right. Some of the biggest names have held these titles. No matter how great they were, Randy says that he is better than all of them, even Hunter. That is why they chose him to be the face of the WWE. They share something in common with the WWE Universe. They don’t like John Cena very much. Randy says that Hunter knows that he is the only one who can beat Cena and shut him up. He will walk out with both titles.
John interrupts and introduces himself to Randy and Randy says that he knows who John is and he reminds John about the time he kicked John’s father in his head.
Randy says that he has been turning the hopes and dreams of so many into nightmares. There is a reason he is called the Apex Predator. The only reason John was put on this Earth was to lose . . .
John tells Randy to shut up. He mocks Randy and he asks where Randy got ‘turning dreams into nightmares’. The only dream he did that to was Triple H because ten years ago Hunter tried to elevate Randy but it failed. John says that Randy is the most gifted WWE Superstar ever. Orton is steaming mad about how he thinks he should be given the opportunities because of his family or his talents.
Randy was given his title while John says that he earned his title. If Randy gets anything from John at TLC, it will be because he earned it. He is not the Apex Predator, he is John Cena.
John tells Randy that he has two options. He can leave or he can make a move. He tells Randy that if he makes one single move to him right here, right now, this audience will be reminded of what a TLC match really is. He will bend a steel chair over his back.
