Personally, I want to see orton win and keep the belt till wrestlemania. Then hw will lose it to HHH. However, I don't think this will happen as I think cena will retain and lose it at unforgiven, giving him his 1 year title reign.
I personally don't think Orton is going to win at Summerslam.
SummerSlam was a total disaster and I was pissed to be there.
The day started off great seeing the wrestlers come in. Myself and about 5 other friends were out tailgating so it was all good. The highlight of wrestler arrivals was seeing MVP telling fans he wouldn't stop for autographs because he was better than everybody. He kept on walkin'!
As for the show, it took a turn for the worse with the ECW title match and it pains me to say that because I'm a huge Punk mark (hence my username). The match wasn't brought to that next level and the animosity just wasn't there. The finish could not have been weaker for a match third in its series.
Then onto Triple H's return. The match went 7 minutes and had no drama to it Hell, Triple H's entrance was half the length of the match. It just didn't cut it considering all the Triple H hype. Booker took the lose like a bitch, which is real bad.
Why Khali vs. Batista wasn't actual Khali vs. Batista vs. Kane vs. Mark Henry is beyond me. It would have been alot less awful with Undertaker stuff to play off of with Kane & Mark Henry interaction. Awful finish and we chalk up yet another Batista rematch and yet another Batista match that ends in DQ. Yawn.
Randy Orton was built up for three months. He went over RVD, HBK and Dusty Rhodes all in a big way. The iron was hot for a title change and it was waiting to be struck. However, WWE missed their chance for a major shake up. Orton was soundly defeated with one FU and he slinked away like a school yard bitch. Terrible.
There were no developments from SummerSlam 2007.
