Mic work does help build a match, but I might like to see TNA & WWE with less of it... B/c when you have such extra buildup, there is/could be more expected of the match, & much of the rosters can't meet that expectation.

I personally does not care about segments or micwork that match. It's what happens in the match that counts for me.
It's not like you sit down to watch a baseball match or soccer match and you become disappointed when the players don't promo![]()
^^ I am entertained when I see good wrestling. I get bored when half the show is meaningless babbeling.
^^ Well, I am a big PWG and ROH fan, and I haven't seen many boring matches in either promotion.
He has potential to be more...just gotta see if there going to give him a push
I couldn't disagree with you more! Morrison has all the tools in the ring to get it done! He's fast, agile, innovative and quick-thinking. He's very entertaining to watch in a match! As for his mike work, I'm not that hard to entertain as long as the guy either makes me laugh, pisses me off, or gets me thinking. Charisma is not a big thing with me, but to me bad charisma is Swagger's championship speech on SD last night. ANYONE seems charismatic to me after that nightmare, but skits, mike work, etc are not that important to me. I care about what's going on in the ring first (I'm in complete agreement with Smart on this) . I'd rather have a great wrestler/poor talker on the roster than the reverse, because the sport is called professional WRESTLING, not professional TALKING. Getting back to Morrison, whoever made the connection between him and Shawn is very correct. With his looks, high-flying ring style, small build, and rock-n-roll persona, Morrison is the perfect guy to step up and be the next Michaels. I think pairing him with Truth is a huge mistake. They're having him play second-fiddle to that Clown's tired act, and that's a HUGE injustice to a world-class talent like John!
Professional wrestling, not Sports Entertainment. I want the 1980s to come back. Best time ever to be a pro wrestling fan. WWF, NWA/JCP, AWA, WCCW, what more could you ask for?
The sexy mama in my avatar is Alicia Keys. YUMMY! C'est ca j'aime!
Morrison will be a mid carder for life. Have to 100% agree with that. In ECW when he was a heel, he stood some chance of making it big, but ever since his face turn he hasn't done anything. He also gets little reaction from the fans (if you listen closely, he gets just a little more than McIntyre's 'no reaction').
See its not about what you look for in a wrestler, it's about what Vince looks for in a wrestler. He has built an empire off of guys who can work the mic but can't really go in the ring as some of the best wrestlers can. There is a reason why WWE in a multi-billion dollar company and companies like RoH are stuck in bingo halls.
Hey Gunner what did that guy do to you?
Today 12:42 AM] Gunner4Life: he screwed me
^^ You seriously think WWE have been this big for ever? It's not like they started their company by having shows in the biggest arenas in USA.
ROH has existed since 2002. That's 8 years dude! Give them some time!
You are just a hater!
Vince McMahon built his company around Hulk fucking Hogan, far from the most technical wrestler of all time. vince McMahon made wrestling what it is today and besides some internet geeks like yourself the majority of the wrestling audience doesn't care about what some guy named Tyler Black is doing in a company that is running out of a bingo hall.
Hey Gunner what did that guy do to you?
Today 12:42 AM] Gunner4Life: he screwed me
^^ Well, Vince McMahon did not build WWE, he inherited it.
The majority may watch WWE, but that does not say anything about the product is bad or good.
Most people watch mainstream movies as well. But mos mainstream movies are made because of one factor, and that's money.
I never said Vince was a bad businessman, cause he aint. I just say he do very many stupid things when it comes to wrestling.
How the hell can he be doing bad things if his business is thriving? And yes Vince did build the WWE, when his dad owned it it was a territory promotion, Vince took it, signed all the big stars from other territories and built the WWE to be a global phenomenon.
So tell me how can Vince be making bad decisions if his business is making more money then all the bingo hall feds?
Hey Gunner what did that guy do to you?
Today 12:42 AM] Gunner4Life: he screwed me
^^He makes bad decisions WRESTLINGWISE. As I said, he is not a bad businessman. He does what he earn money from. But that's not based upon good wrestling.
Morrison and The Miz kicked MNM Ass,
But i like The Miz better on his on
