Live from Stockholm/Sweden
Show opens with a small recap from last week before general manager Randy Orton makes his way out to the ring where he adress the swedish crowd and welcomes everyone to monday night Jamboree, live from Stockholm, Sweden! He then talks about the upcoming Fight For Glory PPV, which will be the second PPV ever to be hosted from Sweden (as the first one was EAM PPV #33. The Stockholm Syndrome, all the way back in season 4) He then talks about the rematch for The EAM World Heavyweight Championship that will take place at this event. Rematches from Grandslam is not usual, so to make this official,all three men will take part of a contract signing later tonight. Speaking about rematches, Orton has the pleasure to tell everyone that another rematch will take place at Fight For Glory as well, as WALTER is destinied to defend The Ornate Prime Championship, against the only man in EAM that ever managed to pin him! It will be a rematch from Pride's exclusive PPV; Three Steel Steps To Heaven, 2 years ago, as WALTER will face off against Killer Kross! Music then suddenly cranks the arena speakers;
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=APzqxJdnKfI . Lashley walks out on the stage, getting a fairly good pop from the audience. He wastes no time, telling Orton something about rematches. If anyone deserves a rematch it is him. And he wants a chance to redeem himself, against Brock Lesnar! Before Orton even manage to respond to this statement from Lashley, the arena speakers cranks up again, and to yet another fairly good pop from the audience.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eRTpAWXEDaI . Out on the stage walks Drew McIntyre, who walks straight up to Lashley's face, then he says into the microphone that Lahsley's still holding; " With all respect Sir, if anyone deserves a rematch, it's him. As he want's to prove to everyone, that Lashley's win against him at " At Gunpoint " last year, was only a fluke! This annoys Lashley and the two men almost go at each other on the stage, but Orton manage to calm both men down, telling them to restrain themselves. As they both know, a wrestling card only has a place for certain matches. And right now, there is no place for either a Lashley Vs Lesnar match, or a McIntyre Vs Lashley match. This makes the audience go booo and even make Drew and Bobby angrier, but Orton puts a finger up and tell everyone to listen to him for a second. There might not be a place for these matches on the card, BUT......As general manager of Jamboree, Orton thinks there is room for another match at Fight For Glory, as a matter of fact, Orton just booked it. Lashley and Drew looks at each other, quite puzzled. Then Orton tells everyone, that at Fight For Glory, there will be a Triple Threat Match, with Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley.....and Brock Lesnar!!! Music cranks the speakers again, and the biggest pop yet from the audience,
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JT02-Lzg-CA . Brock walks out on the stage together with Paul Heyman. All three men looks at each other, but the only one smiling are Paul and Brock. We cut to the Jamboree vignette...
Haha awesome perfect the way it should be. Good build all around. WALTER/Kross makes sense. WALTER trying to avenge his one loss. Awesome 3 way as well. Was hoping for that instead of a singles match.
Singles Matchup
David Benoit Vs " Filthy " Tom Lawlor
Benoit gets a needed win here following a series of Germans. Lawlor with some submissions and technical shit. Signature moves also but Benoit crossface wins it.
As we get back from commercial break, we once again find ourselves at the NY docks. Two figures enters a abandoned factory building, or seemingly abandoned anyways. As they find themselves inside, they are met by a wall of sound, as a cess-pool of people are stacked around a worn out wrestling ring, being in the center of attention of everything. Money is widly scattered, as everyone is betting on who's winning inside the ropes. The action in the ring quickly gets kicked up a notch, as barbwire and tumbtacks are introduced, then light tubes. One of the guys in the ring is wearing a mask, and he is the one dominating, as he single handedly puts down 4 other men. Trough tables, trough barbwire and onto a stack of tacks. But then, another guy enters the ring, and the people in audience goes hogwild. It's Nick F'in Gage! The two men who entered earlier pays special interes now, and the big man tells the slightly smaller guy that they have been training him for a couple of months now. Let's see how this goes. It does not take long before their questions are answered, as Gage makes it quick and painless. The big man with the mask topples, and Gage finishes him off with a brainbuster on top of a log of light tubes. We see the expressions of the two men then, and we now see who one of them is. Travis Gerweck is not impressed. " So you trained him for two months? And Nick Gage killed him in seconds... What was it you wanted to show me? " Scene ends....
Hahha what is this. Good intro for Gage. Creative. Seems Travis is looking for revenge and using Gage to do it. Two promotions same day.
Tag Team Matchup
The Dynasty (Richard Holliday & Alexander Hammerstone) Vs Darby Allin & Jimmy Havoc
Dynasty picks up the win with Havoc looking annoyed after being pinned again. Allin is not happy with him either. Allin has loads of potential but being hurt by Havoc.
As we get back from commercial break we get to see a video of what really happened last week at Spotlight, when Leah Von Dutch did not show up at the main event. We see her in her locker room trying to open the door to leave for her match against Alexa when she finds the door locked. She does everything she can, but the door wont wiggle. Then suddenly, her feet gets wet. The entire locker room are starting to get filled with water. Leah freaks out. She bangs on the door with both hands, screaming from the top of her lungs. Nobody comes to her resue. The water continues to fill up the locker room, reaching her to the stomach now. Still nobody comes. She goes almost in a catatonic state, as the water reaches her chin. One last scream of help before the water covers her face. Breathing is out of the question at this point. She is on the verge to give up. Things are growing darker around her.... Then light, as the door to the locker room gets opened and the water pours out of the room.... We then go back to Alicia and Leah where Alicia asks Leah what really happened? Leah says she has no idea, but all she knows is that Alexa is behind it, and she will pay! Then Alicia present to Leah, her rescuer, as he has sneaked into the scene without Leah even realizing it. Rey Fenix stand hands akimbo beside Leah. Is this his way of redeeming himself? Rey says he quickly realized Leah had a rough time fitting in, in the womens locker room. He's been trough a rough time himself, so he felt sorry for her. Leah gets angry then, telling Rey that she doesn't need his pity. Thanx for saving her though. She runs off, leaving Alicia alone with Rey, making it a bit awkward. Alicia then breaks the ice by saying she thinks it's wonderful how Rey turned up to be able to save Leah. Rey only replies by telling Alicia that if she ever need help, just ask. He makes a gesture, snapping his fingers and winking at Alicia before leaving. Alicia blushes and stutters out, " back to the arena "
Hahah weird. Fenix a superhero helping people.Super Rey Fenix. Like scene in Toro movie.
Singles Matchup
Becky Lynch w/Charlotte Flair Vs Sasha Banks w/Bianca Belair
Huge match here PPV worthy. Back and forth from the both of them. Signature and finishing moves. Some big bumps. Go to Hell. Sasha however gets the win after the Banks Statement...
After the match, whoever wins it, Piper Niven & Session Moth Martina interferes and beats down Becky and Charlotte. The EAM Womens Tag Team Champions however manage to get out of the ring and out of harms way.
More build up. Would be a big 3 way. If need then Andrade and Charlotte as a team is an idea.
-------------------------------------------------------------
We get the contract signing for The EAM World Heavyweight Championship Triple Threat Match at Fight For Glory next, as all three men; Keith Lee, Shawn Michaels and current EAM World Heavyweight Champion; MJF is in the ring together with general manager Randy Orton, and because Orton knows how these things usually turns out, the ring is surrounded by security. MJF takes to the microphone and says he thinks this is unfair. Don't you people know who he is? He should be performing in front of kings. Facing champions! Here I stand, as your humble champion, just achieved the greatest feat in my career, winning the EAM World Heavyweight Championship. And here you stand, wanting me to defend it against the two bufoon's I won it from? What do I have to do to prove to all of you, that I am better than you? Better than all of you, and you know it! Orton tells MJF then, that he can prove it, by signing this contract, and doing what he did, one more time. If he actually manage to do so, Orton will personally make sure that MJF's wishes comes true, and he's sure the chairman is more than willing to meet MJF's desires. MJF is reluctant, but he signs the contract before he flashes the EAM title in front of Shawn and Keith's faces, mocking them that this will be the last time they see it. Lee and Shawn signs the contract then, more professional than MJF. It's actually official then, at Fight For Glory we will get a rematch for the EAM World Heavyweight Championship, the only difference is the person holding the strap. MJF does not stop his rant, but continues on about how this business needs a real " spring cleaning " as nobody seems to be able to let go of the past and look forward. But, don't worry, because MJF is your new messiah, the ONE who will lead everyone into a new era of greatness..... He get's cut short, as HBK boots him in the jaw with a devastating superkick! MJF goes down, and chaos suddenly arise. HBK turns around, only to find himself at the receiving end of spear by Lee. The commotion however quickly gets stopped by security, and Orton was wise to have them out there, as he knew this would happen. The tension between these three can easily be cut with a knife. There is a reason a rematch was booked... We cut to commercials...
Awesome contract signing. All made sense the promos. Looking forward to the match. Thought it was gonna be loser leaves for a second. A cage match would have been nice but if the other thing is happening then might be too much.
Singles Matchup
Orange Cassidy Vs Finn Balor/Prince Devitt
Pretty solid match actually. Some comedy as expected. I think Balor is now Devitt though. Some small quick kicks and big spots. Stomp for a 2. Orange Punch and Orange Fallpin for a 2 but at the end its a Bloody Sunday for the 3 count.
Freaks Among Monsters is up next, as they are getting interviewed by Renee Young. She's seemingly a bit intimidated by the two gargantuan men, but she asks them what they think is next in line for them, now as they are EAM Tag Team Champions. As everyone has see, they have already made an statement, by beating the team they took the titles from; Triple C & AJ Styles, but then also a very dominant display at Grandslam when they defeated War Raiders. Are there even a tag team in the world that is stronger than them? Lars replies to this and says probably not, and if there is anyone who think they are, Lars and Braun will prove them wrong! And just to clarify, there aint a tag team in EAM Promotions at this point who's even near their caliber. Someone coughs then, and we are aware of the presence of two new arrivals at the scene. Then someone says " I think I know of a tag team that is stronger than you " and as the audience recognizes them, they get quite a big pop. The two big men who's entered the scene are quickly aknowledged as Hafthor Julius Björnsson and Eddie Hall. Hafthor was the one to cough, and he was the one to speak. The four men now has a stare down, with Renee standing in between all of them saying that it seems that the EAM Tag Team Titles Match for Fight For Glory is set then...
Huge match. Not sure if this has happened before it seems familiar. Think they were a team before once. Guess EAM running out of teams that we have to go outside.
Tag Team Matchup
Triple C & AJ Styles Vs The North (Ethan Page & Josh Alexander)
Big match here from both teams. Some good double teaming spots. Signature and finishing moves from all involved. Page with some good spots. Cesaro with uppercuts take them down. Spiral Tap for a 2 but AJ stumbles into Cesaro...JOSH ROLLS HIM UP...1...2...3!!!!. WOW HUGE WIN!. What a mistake.
After the match, whoever wins it, commotion happens between tag team partners Triple C and AJ Styles, and as we know some tension has been brewing between the former tag team champions as of late. Page and Alexander walks up the ramp while Triple C and AJ Styles are left in the ring, obviously annoyed with each other...
Might be time for them to break up but a match is definitely needed first.
As the show is about to end, we cut to backstage and general manager Randy Orton's office. Orton is sitting behind his desk, rather pleased with himself after tonights show. He's about to wrap it up and call it a day when... the sound of a rattlesnake. Unmistakeable. Orton jumps up from his seat, and peers under the desk, and right as hell, there is a rattlesnake under his desk! He walks slowly backwards towards the door, as he does not want to quarrel with a rattlesnake. He reaches the door but bumps into something. He turns around, finding himself face to face with... " Stone Cold " Steve Austin! Orton freezes, truly flabbergasted. Austin smiles then and says " Nice to see you again Randall " scene cut's to black....
Haha nice like a movie. I actually think Orton opening a draw and finding a snake or even broken skull could have worked. Or open the door and a skull or snake is hanging down.
