Show starts at ringside with EAM commentators Daniel Bryan & Nigel McGuiness, talking about how wild this recent weekend was. So much happening. So much to take in. Where to begin? Their questions is answered, sort of, as they are cut off by the entrance music of EAM's World Heavyweight Champion; Maxwell Jacob Friedman.
All alone at this point, but still on top of the world after his victory over WALTER at Grandslam. He's still not liked by the fans though, as they are peppering him with massive boo's as he struts down the rampway, basking. He only smiles and laughs at the fans, almost as if their disappointment and bad mood gives him even more energy to be an asshole.
He cut's a promo, rambling about himself, how the propechy all came true, and how he proved that he doesn't need the help of others, because he is the greatest performer this sport has ever seen!
YEAH?!?! (From all over the arena's)
The people in attendance goes insane as music hit's the arena speakers
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bM00pPQZXaM and The New Pride Champion; Eli Drake enters the stage. In his right hand, he is carrying a black briefcase. He makes his way down the rampway, getting the total opposite reaction than MJF did. He makes his way around the ring, taking his time, to MJF's annoyance. He picks up a microphone from the announce table before entering the ring. He wastes no time, asking MJF what he thinks is in his briefcase. MJF suggests " His Lunch? "
Eli puts the briefcase down, and as the awaken eye can see, he's not carrying The Pride Championship around his waist or over his shoulder. As a matter of fact, it's nowhere to be seen. Eli then says to MJF it's funny he would call himself the greatest ever, because, if he was, he would have this.....
Eli opens up the briefcase and pulls out a shiny new title belt, holding it high over his head for everyone to see.
He then explains to everyone that this is " The Greatest Championship " (That's actually the name of the title), he then explains it will replace The Pride Championship, in which Eli has given back to the boss to hang up on the Retired Championships wall in the EAM's headquarter's antechamber, here in Hammerstein Ballroom.
MJF gets impatient, as this doesn't interest him in the least. He wonder if Eli is finished, soon, as he's not hogging MJF's limelight, but he's wasting everyone else's time too. Eli then says he's got more, then grabbing down in the briefcase and pulling out a different plate saying " Extravagant ", then another with the name " Awesome " and another, and another. He's got like 10 different title plates with different names on them, all with superlatives on them. The audience loves it, but MJF is not impressed. Maybe because he's actually a bit jealous of the fact that Eli came up with the idea and not him.
He then interrupts Eli as he's had enough of this BS, telling him that if he thinks he can walk out here with a briefcase full of props, and then challenge for The grandest prize in the business, he's got it all wrong. Eli then says he's not out here to challenge for any championship. At least not yet. No. He's here to make sure someone else gets a chance to kick MJF's butt and take his title! He then takes off his shirt, revealing a referee shirt underneath. He then explains that he got a very special job, from the boss himself. That job includes being the special guest referee when MJF defends The EAM World Heavyweight Championship at Fight For Glory in Baltimore. Not only that, he's been given a very special task by the boss as well. To pick MJF's opponent for the matchup!
This makes the crowd go wild, and MJF throws a tantrum in the middle of the ring. He tries to come up with a smart reply, but for once, it seems the cat's got his tongue. Eli Drake drops his mic in a very scenic motion in front of MJF before leaving the ring with his new championship belt. We then cut to the Jamboree vignette....
Haha nice new title name, the greatest champion that’s different and works well for him perfectly actually, and the promo really feels like him and to capitalise on his style and hear him saying it. Have become a big fan of him over the past few months. Nice idea and good using the world champion and also the new Greatest champion together who could have a big year. YEAAAH. Also, I wonder if maybe Pat McCarthy could join Daniel and Nigel on commentary?
Singles Matchup
" Speedball " Mike Bailey Vs Dalton Castle
Pretty entertaining and highflying match back-and-forth action from both at the end of the matches. Speedball gets the win after a standing 450 and karate kicks.
We cut to the backstage area where none other than Jon Moxley and Randy Orton bumps into each other. Two guys with much history, and probably two of the wrestlers in EAM that's most privileged. They talk about Grandslam and congrats each other on an awesome show, not to mention wins. Moxley then tells Orton that one thing he's often thought about over the years is that they never held the EAM Tag straps together. Something to think about as both men's career's are in their final phase maybe? Moxley winks at Orton and wishes him a still good night before strolling down the hallway. Orton is left, with a thoughtful look on his face.
Very interesting them together when usually they’re both quite heelish. There’s a lot of tag teams right now, actually, could end up having a big tagteam tournament/turmoil/slobber knocker or something.
We get a video package, showing the awesome feat that Heavy Machinery has been doing for these last couple of years. A highlight reel, showing out-takes from every title match they've had (31 in total) and then Otis and Tucker who talks about the fact that there is nothing more for them to prove. There is no tag team left that they haven't defended those titles against. So, the decision has been made, to retire The Pride Tag Team Championships, but don't you lose you mind over it, because there will be a replacement, but they are not gonna reveal anymore at this point. Only that history will be made in March, as The Gauntlet Roulette PPV returns when EAM goes to Cincinnati! Video ends there and we cut back to the arena for our next match of the evening.
Wow, just like that it’s over but I guess it’s been going on for a long time so it makes sense. Kind of sad really but there’s nothing else for them to do. They would lose the titles eventually I guess if not tomorrow then a year time who knows, unless they could merge the titles or cash them in for another title or turn on each other, but we’ll have to wait and see what happens next well it’s probably for the best.
Singles Matchup
John Cena Vs Wardlow
An interesting match for sure and a big one for Wardlow. I don’t want John Cena wrestling too often as it takes away the mistake and the big match for you love him but this makes sense because it’s after Grand Slam. He looks pretty good and get some big powerful moves in and signature style as well, but at the end of the match John Cena‘s attitude adjustment gets the win.

We go to someplace dark, very, very dark. And sinister. Very gothy indeed. Very evil....
Looking into a big glowing crystal ball is EAM's most evil man, Danhausen. Inside the ball we can see Orange Cassidy, and Danhausen follows his every step with very curious eyes while mumbling to himself about Cassidy being a very evil man. Very evil indeed. And very clever. He outsmarted the Great Danhausen! Hmmm... Must see. Must learn from the great evil master. Maybe start having hands in the pockets all the time? Maybe that's where his power lies? Very clever. Very evil....
Looks like this feud will never end its an endless rivalry of madness ha ha.
As we cut back to the arena, the new EAM Tag Team Champions; The Young Bucks have placed themselves in the ring. They say they don't know how many times they've held these titles at this point, but it's gotta be near a record for sure. But they are not here to talk, because make no mistake about it, they are fighting champions, and that's always been their niche, and it's gonna stay that way. And if you're not down with that, we've got.... Nah, kidding, but with all seriousness, their strength is inside the ropes, not on the mic, and that is not a battle they've even gonna try to win. Instead, they are gonna sit down together with Nigel and Daniel and observe this upcoming tag team match. Because one of the teams might turn up to be their next opponents.
Makes sense to build a feud of the match with the new champions.
Tag Team Matchup
Keith Lee & Donovan Dijakovic Vs FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dash Harwood)
Pretty good match from both teams are big size difference here, but FTR, the new kids on the Block get the win after a Double tagteam manoeuvre. They callout other tag teams after the match and said they are going to win. Keith and Jonathan have been together for so long against each other, and with each other, should be interesting to see where they go next.
We get a video package, showing the highlights from Grandslam 17 from Japan & Mexico, a truly historical day, with so many awesome moments for the history books. The video then goes to an overview of a city, not the largest of cities mind you, but there is something familiar with it, and the keen eye can see that it is Richmond, Virginia.
Then the Grandslam logo appears, and the roman number XVIII...
Who knows what will be the main event?.
Before our main event, we get to see parts of a sit-down session that Renee Young did with two individuals that is prophecied to have a very bright future in EAM. Those two are none other than Hook and Rex Steiner. They talk about opportunities, and how honored both are to be able to bring the heritage and legacy of their dads into the future. Renee also asks if they've ever thought about teaming up, as they would probably do good in EAM's tag team division, and both guys says it's not been thought of, but now that Renee has brought it up, neither Hook or Rex declines the idea totally. Renee also asks if they have given the thought about being on opposite sides in a match, because that will also probably happen in the future. Both say they are aware of that, and both can agree on one thing. When it happens, they will make it special....
Awesome build up to the possible match, if or whenever it happens in the future, and yes, a possible tagteam of two sons of legendary wrestlers.
WALTER is already in the ring for tonights main event contest, and he's actually gonna do something that he rarely does, he's gonna cut a promo live. But gets interrupted by his opponent's music. Bad timing, as this only makes WALTER angry and more pepped-up for the upcoming contest. Pentagon Jr. enters the stage to a mixed reaction, obviously because he interrupted WALTER.
EAM Television Championship Matchup
WALTER (c) Vs Pentagon Jr.
Great match from both men back-and-forth action. Pentagon looks really good as well, but of course obviously it’s walter that gets the win after the triple power bomb and die from the top rope.
After the matchup, WALTER picks up the microphone and cut's a promo, telling that he accepts Takeshi Morishima's open challenge for a match at Fight For Glory. Not ony that, he will be putting the BMF Championship on the line! Then he picks up Pentagon Jr. and delivers a spinebuster for good measure before leaving the ring with the EAM Television Championship over his shoulder. Thus end this episode of monday night Jamboree....
Makes sense should be a big match for fight for glory. Looking forward to it.
