The Golden Vulture Challenge
Winner Gets 5 Scavenge Points
Here we go!. One of the biggest shows of the year is off to a crazy start. Winner will receive 5 points and the rules are that it's a gauntlet for the gold, battle royal until the final two turns into a normal match. Two battle royals on the show I guess is sort of ok. Would've been two ladder matches or battle royal's anyway. I know the rules kept changing but think this it is best like this. Four would sort of make sense but it's just a normal one on one match at the end. People come out every one minute. We start off with Prince Devitt as number 1 and Masato Yoshino at 2. Back and forth throughout the entire match with fans cheering for wrestlers they like. Signature/finishing moves and double team action throughout as well. Dragon Gate/NJPW/AAA feeling, 8.5/10 and 26:23.
Devitt and Yoshino fight as number 3 makes his entry and it's Joshua Daniels. Daniels tries to eliminate Yoshino as Devitt stays back. Extreme Tiger is in at 4 and attacks Devitt. Tiger throws Devitt over but he holds on. Yoshino with a quick take down on Daniels. Number 5 enters and it's Tonga who takes out Daniels. Action continues as Tonga throws Daniels over who holds on. Tonga tries to eliminate Daniels but wait from behind...Devitt throws them both over. Double elimination for Devitt and fans love it!. Tonga gone pretty quickly and so is Joshua Daniels. Yoshino looks for a sneaky elimination on Devitt but he backs off and laughs and apologizes and bows. Not sure who's face and heel in this entire match but I guess is doesn't matter as much. Devitt is more heel in real life but he can be face here maybe or still be heel.
Emil Sitoci enters at 6 and works on Devitt. Extreme Tiger and Yoshino going at each other. Number 7 enters and it's Kushido who works on Masato also. Devitt almost gets eliminated again but holds on. Tiger with a moonsault on Kushido. Number 8 enters and it's Averno but woh Tiger quickly tries to take him over as Averno reverses it. Averno and Extreme Tiger are fighting on the outside apron and Yoshino with that fast running of the ropes into a one leg a piece dropkick on both men taking them out!. Yoshino with two eliminations. Devitt then tries to throw out Masato but then copies what he did earlier and apologizes. In comes Alex Shelley at 9 with a big pop as he works down Kushido and soon after is number 10's Shane Haste. Sitoci hits a powerslam on Yoshino and a leg drop on Prince. It's for 5 points which doesn't really seem that much for this match but they all want the points.
Shelley and Shane fight it out with Alex getting the better and superkicking Shane Haste over the top rope and out. Rush comes out at 11 as Kushido lays out Emil. Rush and Kushido then exchange shots as number 12 comes out and it's Naruki Doi!. Doi and Yoshino immediately team up and work together and it's a great idea. They double team the rest of the ring, in comes 13 and Kenny King but will it be unlucky for him?. Emil and Rush are fighting with Devitt and Kushido is being attacked by Doi and Masato. Kenny lays out Emil and Rush. Number 14 is in and Ethan Page goes for Emil but the double teaming is working as Doi and Masato throw out Kushido!. Number 15 is Aero Boy and Devitt is getting tired as he goes after Rush. Doi and Naruki work together again and double suplex Ryan Rush out of the ring getting another elimination.
Aero Boy and Alex Shelley fight as number 16 enters and it's Papadon. Shelley/Aero/Doi/Masato/Devitt/Kenny King/Ethan Page/Emil/Papadon are in the ring all fighting each other before number 17's Karl Anderson enters the ring. Doi/Yoshino continue the double team on everyone, Aero Boy is looking for a suplex over the top rope on Devitt but he reverses and suplexes Aero out. Papadon and Anderson attack each other as Ethan Page and King are going at it. Shelley with a great neckbreaker on Emil. Number 18's Rhett Titus enters and has a stand off with King, they have some history. They brawl with each other as the action in the ring continues. 19's Pagal enters the ring but King suplexes him instantly. Shelley fights with a tired Devitt as Page slams Emil. Chet is out at 20 and goes after King. Doi and Masato then work together on Ethan Page and it works as they throw him out. Doi/Masato work together again and eliminate Papadon as Davey enters the ring in at 21.
Masato is also visibly tired. King and Titus decide to work together for old times sake and take on Doi/Masato. Devitt is slowing down but still in the ring working on Shelley. Pagal and Davey fight each other with back and forth moves. Eleven are in the ring. 22 is Jack Evans who gets a big pop and hits a springboard taking out some of the men. Emil Sitoci is on the top rope looking for a dive, Kenny King kicks him off the top rope outside but what an effort by Emil. Anderson fights with Shelley and 23 enters, it's Mikey Nicholls. Doi and Masato fire up and start screaming going crazy!. Doi dropkicks Pagal over the top rope and out. Masato on the other side throws out Davey Vega. Masato and Doi then work together and eliminate Chet Sterling and number 24 has entered, Michael Frehly who goes after Karl Anderson. Devitt is surviving and works on Mikey. Jack Evans and Rhett Titus are going at each other as the clock counts down the final entrant number 25 and it's Ryusuke Tagachi who gets the last last number and fights with King.
All men are in the ring as fans let out a big chant as the action gets quicker. Evans with a 630 on King. Michael Frehly's working on Karl Anderson but he throws him up and over the top rope. Anderson's distracted though as Prince from behind throws him out!. Devitt is still in here after 20/25 minutes along with Masato who dropkicks Titus. Tagachi and Mikey Nicholls going after each other before Shelly and Evans work together on them. Shelley t-bones Mikey up and out of the ring as Evans rana's Tagachi out. Titus/King/Masato and Doi have a stand off and Titus stops the match and starts dancing. Masato joins in and taunts him but wait from behind, King throws out Titus!!!. Titus looks up at King in shock but King shakes his head and says everyone man for himself and they aren't a team anymore. King is distracted as Masato and Doi throw out King from behind!. Titus laughs at King and maybe they fight outside as officials try and separate them.
Doi's laughing at them on the bottom rope...WAIT A MINUTE MASATO THROWS OUT DOI!!. Wow what a shocker and some fans boo but some laugh. Masato and Doi now have the same problem as Titus/King just had but it's every man for himself and Doi just looks up and says fine and 'win this' to Masato. So i'm sure they'll remain friends after this. Shelley then tries to throw out Masato but it gets reversed as they start fighting each other. Shelley/Masato on the outside apron and Devitt/Evans on the other side. Masato swings himself back in with a reverse 619 type move and it knocks Evans off the apron to the floor. Devitt powerbombs Evans over. Evans and Shelley eliminated at the same time. Ohhh my...Devitt/Masato walk backwards before clashing back to back and turning around. The fans go crazy as Devitt and Masato stare each other down. They started as 1 and 2 and have been in the ring for over 25+ minutes and are now the last two left. The official makes the match official and here we go!!!.
BAM LEFT AND RIGHT SHOTS FROM BOTH MEN. Both men are tired but are fighting hard. ANOTHER SPACE FROM MASATO 1...2....NO he kicks out. Masato looks for the Byakuya as Devitt turns it into the Devitt's End!!. Masato's about to tap....NO he reverses it into the Byakuya!!!. Devitt's in trouble and trying to reach the ropes. Both men have great stamina and are used to long matches but over 20 wrestlers and 25 minutes later it's gonna take it's toll on you. Fans are cheering for both men as Devitt slowly reverses the submission and stands up while in the triangle choke, BAAAM BLOODY SUNDAY!. He reversed the Byakuya into his finisher and hits the DDT COVER 1...2...3 IT'S OVER!. Devitt pins Masato. What a match and ending. Both men looked solid and after the match could maybe shake hands and show respect. Vulture is lowered by a crane (which will also be used for the Ladder match later) and given to Devitt and he earned the 5 points. PRIDE may have been a little slow so far but they've put themselves on the mat in this opening match of the PPV. Was only 5 points but you can't look at it like that and just enjoy the talent and match. A tired Devitt celebrates with the Vulture as we fade away.
(Phew, was a tough and hard one to write with so many people. Tried to involve history, teams and moments throughout the match and give it a bit of a story, instead of just a normal battle royal. Thought the first two opening and closing would be a good idea because they are two of the best, if not the two best in the entire match. Both looked even and they had contact throughout the match but thought Fergal was the best choice and winner. Could maybe use some of this match for other PRIDE matches going forward.)
Norwegian Heavyweight Title Matchup
If Sheamus Wins, Sem Will Be Deported Back To Norway
Sheamus (c) Vs Bjørn Sem
Our second match on the card but it feels like halfway through after the long opening match. This is more of a comedown even though it's still a big match. Both have history and it's a tough stipulation. Sheamus will lose the title and still remain outside of EAM but if Sem wins he will be champion and in EAM. Sem's role was really for the Steen feud and that's it. He's the type of person who fits more of a one feud type guy but he still has a chance here. Fans are cheering for Sheamus booing Sem in this one. Back and forth hard hitting match from both men which is more of a brawl than a wrestling match. Signature/finishing moves attempted throughout, WWE feeling, 7/10 and 8:12. Very international contest also as Sheamus/Sem exchange hard shots. Sheamus looks for a Brogue Kick, Sem reverses with a big boot for a 2.
Side slam and a leg drop for a 2 also. Sem looks for a chokebomb, Sheamus reverses out of it with a headbutt and a forearm. Sheamus does the big chops to the chest but somehow Sem grabs his arm during and stops the chops!. Incredible strength from Sem as he hits a suplex on Sheamus taking him to the outside. Axe handle off the outside apron and a scoop slam on the mat. Only a small mat outside covers the hot sand. Sem irish whips Sheamus into the barricade, charges but he moves and Sem crashes hard. Sheamus tells the crowd to move as he runs back to the other side, waits for Sem to get up and hits a big diving shoulder tackle over the barricade into the audience onto Sem. Sheamus brings Sem back over and throws him into the ringpost. He celebrates with the fans as Sem throws Sand in Sheamus' eyes as he's distracted!. Wise and horrible move from Sem, he chokes Sheamus' head using the ring post and throws him back in the ring.
Sem then mocks Sheamus and hits the Brogue Kick 1...2..NO!. Would've been embarrassing if he won that way. Sem signals the end and looks for the Chokebomb...Sheamus reverses it and BAAM HITS THE BROGUE KICK OUT OF NOWHERE 1..2...NO SEM kicks out of the Brogue Kick!. Not many people have kicked out of that move before. Sheamus is shocked and then looks for the Crucifix but Sem's too strong and slips off the back, grabs ahold of Sheamus' throat and hits the Chokebomb! 1...2...NO Sheamus now kicks out. Sem picks up Sheamus and looks for a Chokeslam and somehow Sheamus reverses out of the Chokeslam into a cloverleaf!. He's struggling to hold Sem's weight and he's in trouble...Sem tries to reach the ropes but can't. Sheamus pulls him back to the middle of the ring and locks it in harder and Sem fires up, pushes up on his hands, releases a big roar and kicks off Sheamus.
Sem charges at him, hits an irish whip, Sheamus hits the ropes, reverses the irish whip and launches Sem into the air...BAAAM OUT OF NOWHERE THE BROGUE KICK IN MID AIR!. What a smart move and nobody was expecting that. Sheamus covers 1...2...3 it's over!. Sheamus gets the win and keeps the title and Sem is sent back to Norway. Sem could attack Sheamus after the match but don't think it's needed now because he's gone. Could leave a last message but it's all over now anyway so Sheamus celebrates with his title and the fans as we fade out.
(Thought Sheamus was the best choice so he can keep the title. Think Sem had a nice run and he can't really do much more. He's more of a one feud type of wrestler but he still had a good run in EAM and he looked pretty tough in this match as well, which is good if it's his last match. Don't think Sheamus should stay in EAM though.)
WWC Title Matchup
Carlos Colon As Special Guest Referee
Carlito (c) Vs Primo
More international flavor in EAM. It's nice that it's so international tonight so it makes wrestling feel bigger than just EAM, other promotions exist and people can crossover and feud etc. Not a fan of Primo but I have always like Carlito. Colon in this match as well adds tension, family issues even though he will keep it fair and even. All of these men are used to wrestling outside because of the WWC shows. Can Carlito continue a new fresh path like he's been doing recently and maybe come back stronger and looking better than ever in EAM.
WWC feeling, 7/10 and 8:45. Signature/finishing moves throughout the match and respect from both men. Both look pretty good throughout and some fast paced action. Some close falls and a moonsault from Primo early on for a 2. Primo with lots of punches in the corner. Carlito tries to fight back but Primo counters and takes him down. Primo with kicks to Carlito on the ropes now. Back and forth until Primo hits a clothesline off the ropes for a 2. Primo throws Carlito out to the floor and Primo hits a dive onto him. Primo throws him back in the ring for a 2. Primo with a slam and a 1...Carlito counters and gets a 2. Carlito takes out Primo with a neckbreaker. Legdrop and a suplex for a 2 from Carlito. Carlito with a scoop slam, goes to the top rope and hits an elbow drop..1...2..NO Primo kicks out. Carlito looks for the lungblower but Primo fights out and turns it into a shoulder breaker.
Primo fight back and hits the springboard back elbow off the ropes then the forearm. He signals the end and a spin kick and launches Carlito out of the corner. Primo charges and runs into the ring post going for a spear as he moves out the way. Carlito looks for the Backstabber again but Primo rolls him up 1...2..NO. Fans are cheering more for Carlito than his brother. Primo signals the end again and looks for his finisher as Carlito drops off the back and nails the Backstabber 1...2...3 THAT'S IT!. Carlito gets the win and keeps the title. Carlito and Primo have a face off after the match and Primo is pissed. He knocks away Carlito's handshake but Carlos steps in and looks disgusted and tells him to do it. Primo shakes Carlito's hand and they all celebrate as Carlos lifts up both men's hand as we fade out.
(Obvious winner here and maybe not the best match but it did its job and puts over the new Carlito more and Primo got some offense in. Ending with the whole family celebrating I thought was the best idea.)
Special Challenge
Colt Cabana Vs Matt Classic
The weirdness continues in this match. Cabana has been stuck in some sort of virtual alter time vortex dimension and it continues with him fighting himsel...Matt Classic. More of a comedy match in this one but throughout the match each men have similar styles and do mirror copying of each other throughout 7/10, 7:12 and WSX/CHIKARA feeling. Some submission attempts and reversals throughout this one. Cabana is more shocked and confused and doesn't know what to do at times. Flying Asshole from Cabana for a 2 count. Classic with a couple of close falls as well. Classic with an Airplane spin but Cabana stops that with a Bionic Elbow and a Cradle DDT for a 2. Classic with a german suplex and a second one and then a headlock take over. More of a slower and submission style throughout with comedic elements. Diving leg drop from Cabana and a powerbomb for a 2 count. Cabana locks in a Canadian Bacon Leaf but Classic gets to the ropes.
Classic locks in an Abdominal stretch and Cabana is in trouble and he gets to the ropes. Scoop slam and a heart punch for a 2. Classic hits a drop suplex a side russian suplex for another 2. Fans are already so confused and are cheering for both men. Cabana locks in the Bill Goat's Curse but Classic reverses it into the Clawhold and Cabana is now in trouble...Cabana somehow fights it off and hits a Colt .45...1..2...3 it's over!. Cabana gets the win and looks relieved. The ref holds up Cabana's arm but wait a minute...a mask has just appeared on Cabana out of nowhere. Cabana quickly throws himself around the ring like he's stuck under the mask and he takes it off and it's Classic's mask. Cabana throws Classic's mask to the ground and Matt Classic is nowhere to be found. Cabana is the only man in the ring. What the hell is going on. Is Matt Classic...Colt Cabana?. Cabana won but he ended up in Classic's mask and Classic disappeared so did Matt Classic really win?. Is Colt Cabana...Matt Classic?. Fans and Cabana are left in confusion and it should be interesting to see what happens after this as we fade out.
Former Champions Gauntlet Challenge For The EAM Tag Team Titles
Young Bucks (c) Vs The Briscoes
Alot of fans are confused by the rules in this one. Some think it will be a normal gauntlet match but the gauntlet name means former tag team champions have the chance of competing. It will be a normal tag match with one former tag team champion getting the match. Think it's better to have a normal tag match because with 3 gauntlets/battle royals and so much going on with so many people it would maybe be overkill and a rushed match. A normal match though can have the potential to be a great one and remembered. Bucks come out to cheers but really think they should turn heel with Cole and Steen. Bucks cut a promo about being at Supersplash, in the Hamptons and speak about the tag titles and former champions before the music of the challengers hit the building...IT'S THE BRISCOES!. Bucks look quite shocked and here we go!!!. All men with a big brawl early on to open this match.
PWG/ROH feeling, 9/10 and 15:32. Briscoes seem to be more of the popular choice in this one regardless of Bucks heel/faceness. Lot of teams but think this team was one of if not the best tag teams to hold the belts and for best possible match this is probably it. It's a shame that some of these people aren't in EAM anymore but it's just the way it goes. Time moves on and things change and this is huge chance for Briscoes and if they win they'd be champions without contracts!. Huge reaction for the Briscoes. All four brawl to the outside. Jay hiptosses Nick Jackson on the entrance ramp. Back in the ring, the ref is trying to restore order. Briscoes work over Nick in the corner with several chops. Matt's outside the ring and Mark hits a dive over the top to the floor onto him. Briscoes then throw Nick into the guard rail. Briscoes stay in control before they finally make a comeback.
Bucks make a comeback with double team moves, Matt hits a dive over the top rope onto Mark as Nick splits legs on the ropes. Nick works over Mark now. Nick tags in Matt who hits a top rope double stomp. He works over Mark in the corner with several shoulder blocks. Nick tags himself back in but Mark doesn't see it as he fires back and Nick continues working him over. BAM Bucks with a pair of superkicks and Nick covers for a 1...2...Jay breaks it up. Mark tries to fight back but the Bucks keep him grounded. Mark finally tags in Jay and he goes crazy on the Bucks. He hits an STO on Nick and throws him down onto Matt. Jay looks for a Fireman's Carry but Nick nails him. Nick fights back but Jay gets the better of the exchange and presses Nick overhead but Matt kicks him in the face.
The Bucks take control again, they work over Jay in the corner with forearms and shots. Fans cheer for Briscoes to make a comeback. They whip him into the corner and Matt hits him with a big clothesline. They hang Jay over the ropes and Matt holds him up hanging for a Nick 450 splash right across the back 1...2..NO. Jay kicks out. Jay reverses Nick's attack and finally comes back with an exploder on Nick into the corner and tags in Mark. Mark sets up Nick in the corner and hits him with big strikes. Mark goes up to the top but gets attacked by Matt. Mark fights off Matt and jumps but BAAAM NICK LAYS HIM OUT WITH A SUPERKICK IN MIDAIR 1...2...NO Jay makes the save. Jay attacks both men and throws Matt outside. They signal the end and look for the Doomsday Device. BAAAM THEY HIT THE DOOMSDAY DEVICE ON NICK!!!...1...2...Matt springboards into the ring and lands on Mark and holy crap that was close.
The fans thought it was over. Matt hits a superkick to Jay but Mark picks up Matt after and looks for the Cut Throat Driver. Nick is back up and superkicks Mark which causes him to fall and for Matt to reverse the Cut Throat Driver into the Tombstone Piledriver position. Nick runs to the corner but Jay Briscoe is back in the ring and Nick runs and jumps onto the back of Jay, launches himself off of him and spikes Mark as Matt hits the tombstone piledriver!!!. Nick covers Mark...1...Jay charges at them but Matt jumps onto him and stopping him...2....3...IT'S OVER!. Woh what an ending!. Bucks keep the titles but were tested in the match. Bucks celebrate with the belts and leave as Briscoes get an ovation from the fans.
(Could've done a gauntlet with lots but think a normal solid tag match would be better. Too many teams would be overkill with so many people already on the show. Briscoes were the best choice looking at some of the former champions. Could have done Kenta/Kenta but Kenta is retired and them as a team shouldn't have lasted so long and they shouldn't be together today. Needed a mid card normal tag but good match on this PPV in my opinion. Bucks keep the titles but Briscoes got one last shot, chance and looked solid throughout and it cements Bucks title reign even more.)
Pick Your Poison Matchup - The Last CZW Title Matchup Ever
Sami Callihan (c) Vs Drake Younger
Think Drake's the perfect opponent. Now a ref in WWE and leaving his Indy days behind and with his amazing CZW career and feud these two have had it's the perfect choice. It's a nice stip that it's a pick your poison match and the last title match. Can't say I'm a fan of the new title's name or that Sami loses a title if he never lost it. I think he should automatically become the new TV Champion if he wins but if Drake wins then Sami should get a shot at the TV but not given the title but whatever. Sami is more heel so gets some boos and Drake gets a huge pop when he comes out. I guess it means Sami picked him so maybe he could cut a promo saying that he deserves it and Drake's the best choice etc. So maybe Sami gets some cheers as well. This isn't a gimmick match so the rules are normal but saying that it is the last title match ever so...the rules can be replaced a little bit! CZW feeling, 10/10 and 20:34.
Both men start off fast and furious with hard shots. Action spills to the outside early, where Younger slams Sami onto a chair Necro-style and we get a Necro chant. Drake is about to hit Sami with a chair but the ref keeps saying stop and the fans boo. Drake teases it again but the ref stops him. Fans are booing and pissed at these rules and Drake obliges. Drake with a side slam outside the ring and goes for the chair again and again the ref says stop. Fans boo again and so Drake does. Drake throws Sami and two chairs into the ring. Drake gives a chair to Sami and holds one himself. The ref stops them again and fans are pissed!. The ref notices and shouts 'SCREW IT FUCK THE RULES' AND THE FANS GO CRAZY. SAMI AND DRAKE START BEATING THE SHIT OUT OF EACH OTHER WITH CHAIRS. Rules in a CZW match hell no!.
Drake gets the better of Sami and hits him with chair shots. Drake with a back drop driver onto a chair standing up for a 2 count. He looks for the Drake's Landing early on but Sami reverses it and throws Drake outside. Sami charges the ropes and topes through the ropes onto Drake with a cheer from the crowd. Sami irish whips Drake into the guardrail and spears him through it!. CZW CZW CZW chant from the crowd. Oh god where are they going?. The ref is following them, remember this is a normal match but the ref relaxed the rules so no dq or countouts. Sami drags Drake into the audience and sand. Sami then drags Drake around in the hot sun and starts burying him in the sand!. Drake tries to fight back but he's completely buried!. Sami hits a chair on top of him and sits down and smiles and looks at the time. He gets up and beats the shit out of Drake laying under the sand with a chair. Sami then picks him up and hip tosses Drake on the sand-bed.
Sami is looking for a suplex but Drake reverses it into a suplex of his own!. BAAAM SUPLEX INTO THE HAMPTONS WATER!. Fans love it and go wild. Drake and Sami are fighting in the ocean!. Back and forth shots and they're completely wet. Drake grabs a hold of something in the water and eeew he has seaweed. Drake shoves it into Sami's mouth and face as the fans chant 'you sick fuck'. He begins choking him with the seaweed. This may be the first ever time seaweed has been used to try and kill someone. Sami elbows himself out of it and crawls out of the water. Drake hits a scoop slam on the sand. This may be the last time we see a match like this. Drake brings Sami back towards the ring but OH GOD Sami hits Drake with a rock. Must be from the sand and oh god just hitting him over and over with the rock. He starts carving the head of Drake busting him open. Near the ring and action it is a lively beach so we have a beach house next to the ring/entrance ramp. They're about 40 feet away from the ring and Sami irish whips Drake into it. We get a chant of Mox and Foley as this brings back flashbacks from that match. Sami opens the door off the beach house and holy crap no way.
WAAAAH IT'S JOHN FUCKING ZANDIG. WHAT THE HELL IS HE DOING IN THE HAMPTONS IN A BEACH HOUSE. He slams the door into Sami's head and raises Drake's hand. Zandig then gives a bag to Drake before telling him to fuck off out of my beach house. So that's where Zandig has been all these years!. Drake looks bewildered and brings the bag and Sami back towards the ring. He rolls Sami in the ring. He's about to get into the ring before he is stopped by someone. A woman in the crowd then asks him to come closer and she kisses him!. She puts something in his bag and winks and he looks shocked at what it is and throws the bag into the ring. Drake sets up four chairs outside of the ring in a little square, and sets a chair on top of it. Sami's on the outside apron and Younger tries to suplex Sami on it, but Sami gets out and hits a sunset flip powerbomb on Drake to the outside through all 5 chairs!!!. Both men are out but Sami is stirring and gets in the ring with a trashcan he got while on the apron. Sami lays the trashcan down and Younger's finally back in and fights back and sets Sami on the top rope, BUT SAMI POWERBOMBS HIM ON THE BOTTOM OF A TRASHCAN!. HOLY FUCK CZW CZW CZW CHANT 1...2....NO DRAKE KICKS OUT.
Both men are bleeding bad and Drake plays possum as Sami picks him up and SUPLEXES SAMI THROUGH A TRASHCAN for a 2. Drake opens the bag and takes out a smaller bag and a...no way...cacti plant!. AAAAH HE THROWS IT AT SAMI AND ITS STICK IN HIM!. SAMI HITS A HARD LARIAT TO DRAKE WHILE STICK ON THE CACTI PLANT. Sami picks it off and then starts whipping Drake with the cacti plant going crazy and it breaks into a thousand pieces. Sami picks him up for a simple powerbomb but changing his mind...NO NO AHHH POWERBOMB OVER THE TOP ROPE THROUGH THE CHAIRS OUTSIDE!. Good god not again. Both men are out once again. Sami finally stirs and gets back into the ring and opens the bag and pulls out a staple gun!!!. NO NO NO. Drake is back in the ring and Sami is snapping the staple gun at him. Sami asks for something from the fans and they throw it at him and staples Drake with a dollar dill!. Drake flips him off and Sami does it again!. Drake fires up and rips out the staples and grabs a hold of the staple gun and staples Sami in the dick and hits a Drake N Bake 1...2...NO. Drake is busted open bad and opens the bag and points at the woman in the crowd!. OH GOD IT'S A BARBED WIRE DILDO!. DRAKE WAITS FOR SAMI TO GET UP AND SHOVES THE BARBED WIRE DILDO UP HIS ASS AND WHIPS HIM WITH IT!. He throws it back at the lady.
Drake goes for the smaller bag and oh no it's thumbtacks. He pours it and signals the Drake's Landing. Sami spits tacks in Drake's face and BAAM BACK DROP DRIVER ONTO THE TACKS...1....2..NO. Sami then stomps Drake's head into the tacks. He goes to the bag and gets something else out. SALT HE POURS THE SALT ALL OVER DRAKE'S BODY. It's like we're seeing classic moments of CZW being done all in one match. This only fires Drake up and he hits a Tiger Driver on Sami in the tacks 1...2..NO!. Danny Havoc and other CZW alumni are cheering Drake on. Drake goes to the top rope and hits a moonsault but misses and Sami locks in a Stretch Muffler submission!. Drake's in trouble and we have no rules so the ropes won't help. Drake is crawling around in tacks trying to escape and he does by kicking Sami off. Sami looks for the finish and Headlock Driver but Drake reverses it into the Drake's Landing!!! 1...2....NO. How the hell did Sami kick out of that. Drake sets up two chairs in the ring next to each other and goes over towards the bag and only one thing remains inside. Sami is hurt trying to get up and the fans are in shock right now. Both men are bleeding bad and the ring is a mess.
OH FUCK NO NO NO. THIS HASN'T BEEN DONE IN YEARS. DRAKE HAS A WEEDWHACKER!!! NO NO NO. STOP THE FUCKING MATCH. Drake charges it up and bzzzz starts off and fans are in shock. This is CZW and fans are in disbelief. Drake turns around but Sami is up with the staple gun and staples Drake's head forcing him to drop the weedwhacker. This is one of the sickest matches we've ever seen!. SAMI PICKS UP THE WEEDWHACKER WAAAAH HE SHOVES IT INTO DRAKE'S STOMACH AND BLOOD AND SKIN FLY EVERYWHERE AND OH HE DOES IT AGAIN INTO THE DICK AND BALLS AND REVENGE FOR THE STAPLING EARLIER. Sami throws the weedwhacker down and Drake is holding his stomach jumping around the ring in pain. Sami grabs hold of Drake. BAAAM HEADLOCK DRIVER THROUGH THE TWO CHAIRS STANDING UP...1...2...3. DONE!. Good god almighty. What a match. The recent violent and CZW matches have been a little weak but this one was brutal. Fans cheer for both men and after the match they could maybe celebrate with each other but I think Sami should take him belt and leave because he's a heel. Drake then gets a standing ovation and a thank you Drake chant. Maybe he can cut a promo thanking EAM and CZW and invites the people at ringside in the ring. Danny Havoc/Necro and more alumni enter the ring and lift Drake high above the ring and we get a chant of 'CZW CZW CZW' as we fade away.
(Decided Sami would win obviously because a new champion wouldn't make sense. Drake looked awesome though. Even though I'm not a huge fan of him losing the title when he should be given the TV belt it was still good. Wanted to give it some story and references throughout the match with weapons, Zandig in a beach house as a joke and wrestlers at ringside etc. Made it an old CZW style deathmatch because it's the last title match and maybe the last time we see something like this.)
Foley is now on the arena speakers as he walks down the ramp with the microphone. The ring and the area around is like a warzone. Foley makes his way to the ring where Sami is about to make it to his feet, and EMT's are checking on both guys. Foley says that this was probably the most insane match he'd ever seen in his life, and he salute them, as the King Of Hardcore. Anyway, he's down here now because he's not really been telling the whole truth. It's true that there will be a new title, replacing The CZW Title, but it will not be a TV Title, as he said it would be. No! It was all shenanigans. And after this matchup, it's no better way to introduce it to the world, and crown the first ever champion....
Foley opens the briefcase and pulls out the title with the yellow straps and the copper-red plate. The camera zooms in on it. And Foley announce, proudly, that here is The New, Ornate Prime Champion; Sami Callihan!!!!! The audience goes bonkers and Foley walks up to Sami, shakes his hands and puts the title on him....

What a huge match this is. More of a comedown after the previous match but it's still a big one. Insane amount of talent in this one. People that have never wrestled each other before and will never be in the ring ever again with each other again. Some weird talent in this one but it's a blast from the past match so it's going to have some odd people. So much it's hard to decide who's going to win. They've done so much and combined ages and weight is in the thousands. All 50 start in the ring and they barely fit in. Signature/finishing/double team/comedy/technical/high flying just about everything in this one. Had a battle royal earlier but it was different and had half the people. All kinds of promotional mixes, 10/10 why not and between 20-25 minutes.
People have favorites and are cheering for different people and here we go!!!!. It's a bloody brawl. Several people in here are very successful in WWE and other promotions and may be the last time they appear for EAM. Some are retired and in this match for one night only. People team up throughout the match and restart old feuds. Foley and Delirious are exchanging words in the corner. Never thought I'd see that. Will be less story in this one though. Might be the biggest battle royal in EAM's history but not ever (108). RVD and Daniels are going at it. Amazing Red hasn't been around for a long time and works on Swann. Chavo Guerrero hits three amigos on Sabin and goes to the top and hits the frogsplash. Get an Eddie chant but from behind Cesaro throws out Chavo!. Wow two eliminations for Cesaro. Puma goes to the top looking for a dive but Rich Swann dropkicks him off the top rope and out!. Puma is gone. Can't do as much story in this one because there's so many people. So some people eliminating each other will be random and have no connection.
Scorpio Sky is working over Kid Fyte in the corner but from behind William Regal throws them both out!. Nice one from Regal who's very underrated. KENTA just hit a GTS on Liam Thompson and it forces him over the top rope and out. Liam's done. Kazarian hits a legdrop on Daniels but he catches him and throws him out with a powerbomb. Some history between them. Matt Cross hits an insane SSP Legdrop on B-Boy. London with an SSP on the other side on KENTA. Jimmy Rave hits a Styles Clash on London on Kendrick. Burke with a knee shot on Generico. JBL with a fallaway slam on Hart and a powerbomb on Williams. Another lariat on Aries. Foley socko's Burke and takes him to the edge of the ring and throws him over by his throat!. Foley's still got it chants start up. Bang Bang from Foley but from behind JBL!. JBL THROWS OVER FOLEY. JBL runs to the other side of the ring and laughs as fans boo but Foley's hanging on!!!. Foley gets back in the ring and throws over JBL!!. JBL is shocked and confused as fans cheer. BANG BANG from Foley.
Kendrick and London decide to work together and throw out Jimmy Rave. Williams hits a rolling german suplex on Eddie Edwards. Williams gets on the second rope and is impressed with what he's done but Human Tornado knocks him off and out. Amazing Red with a hamspring elbow on Swann. Red does it again but gets caught by Aries who hits a brainbuster and throws him out. Lawler and Regal are going at it and Lawler's not a joke in this one. Generico hits a Yakuza Kick on Lawler and clotheslines him out. Jigsaw crossbody from the top rope but Abyss catches him and hits the Black Hole Slam. Abyss throws out Jigsaw. Abyss celebrates his elimination but wait from behind Foley throws another one over!!. Foley's crazy tonight. They also have history and Foley Bang Bang's again. Huge elimination by Londrick and they still have it!. Delirious does crazy on everyone but Tyler Black hits the God's Last Gift and throws him over. Kennedy is trying to eliminate Ibushi but Daniels from behind throws over Kennedy!. Some history between them as well.
Kobashi chops everyone around the ring before the ring decide to work together and eliminate him together. He fights back but it's not enough and he goes over. KENTA tried to save him but it didn't work. Hart Attack on his own former partner Cross and Aries quickly throws Hart over. Ophidian and Tornado are dancing with each other and stop the match and dance and some join in but it ends quickly as they attack them. Swann sings his Swann song as he hits a moonsault on Davey but gets thrown out by Eddie Edwards. Jacobs hits a slicebread and stomp on Generico but Brian Kendrick and London throw him over and Jimmy Jacobs is eliminated. Eddie Edwards gets thrown over by Chris Sabin and Davey can't make the save. Tornado hits the pounce but from behind Cesaro throws him over!. Boos for Tornado going. Chris Sabin goes for the attack on Ophidian. Sabin hits a shell shock and celebrates on the bottom rope and Foley again strikes and throws out Sabin!. Another Bang Bang from Foley and Sabin even laughs.
Daniels with a BME on Regal who has done ok even though he doesn't wrestle anymore and is a manager. Daniels looks for the Angel Wings on Tyler Black but he gets thrown over the top and out. Daniels not a bad effort. Matt Cross with a springboard elbow to KENTA. Another springboard on the other side but Cesaro catches him with a german and launches him over the top. Cesaro is on fire. Ophidian is still in this!. Kendrick and London work together on Cesaro and double team him. Kendrick hits a springboard and London hits a springboard in the same place after but Cesaro catches Kendrick, throws him at a springboarding London's feet which causes him to fall, eliminates Kendrick and catches London falling with an Uppercut sending him out as well!. Insane move and fans love it. Londrick did good though. Ophidian/Generico are going at it and Generico brainbustah on Ophidian and throws him out. Ophidian had a great run though.
Ibushi with a moonsault on KENTA. Richards throws Ibushi out right after though. Regal is still fighting hard though. Foley now fighting with..WAIT A MINUTE JBL IS BACK. Generico hits a yakuza kick on Tyler Black and Regal with a knee and throws him over!. Aries with a 450 splash on Generico. KENTA with a GTS on Aries and out goes Aries over the top. KENTA is on fire then Regal/Cesaro and Generico work together and attack KENTA but it doesn't work as KENTA fights back hard. Slaps and punches but it's a 3 on 1 assault and they throw him over. Cesaro/Regal and Generico eliminate KENTA.
WE ARE DOWN TO THE FINAL FOUR IN THIS MATCH. OOOH Cesaro and Generico have a face off. They've had a long fued in many promotions and back and forth shots from both men and now grinding each others foreheads. Regal involves himself now but gets thrown out onto the outside apron. Cesaro throws down Generico and works on Regal. WAIT!!! FOLEY'S BACK UP!. WE FORGOT ABOUT FOLEY. He charges at Cesaro but he moves out the way and Foley knocks Regal off the apron and out. Generico charges Cesaro as he throws him up into the air BAAAM UPPERCUT!!! EUROPEAN UPPERCUT IN MID AIR. Cesaro picks Generico up and throws him out. It's all done.! Holy shit what a match!. Cesaro and Foley were the MVP's of this one and who would of thought it. Cesaro celebrates with some fans booing and some cheering. Could have Cesaro/Generico shake hands but think that would ruin it. Maybe Foley holding his hand high but would maybe also ruin it. Cesaro was great as we fade away.
(Was hard to do, choose and eliminate different people. Tried to make Foley/Cesaro look good and involve some history in the match as well. Some random eliminations as well of course because it's a huge match and so many people. Londrick looked pretty good as well and thought Generico/Cesaro was the perfect ending. Thought about Foley/Cesaro for a second but thought that may be just a bit too much and Foley puts over a younger guy almost but Cesaro is awesome and it should be interesting to see where it goes from here for some people.)

Uhaa chops Cole against the ring post. Uhaa hits 10 punches in the corner and bites the forehead of Cole, but Cole slips out and superkicks the knee of Uhaa to regain control. Cole works over the leg and looks for a suplex outside. Uhaa catches Cole between the ropes and hits him with a spike DDT. Cole rolls to ringside and tripps up Uhaa before smashing his on the ringpost multiple times and then applying a ringpost Figure-Four!
Uhaa somehow powers out of it, runs the ropes and hits a suicide dive over the top taking Cole out. He hits a powerbomb into the guard rail. Uhaa hits a standing moonsault for a 2. Uhaa looks for the finish but Cole cames back with a fireman's carry dropped into a neckbreaker on the knee. Sky Is The Limit MITB Ladder Matchup
Randy Orton Vs Eddie Kingston Vs Super Dragon Vs Kevin Steen Vs Johnny Gargano Vs PAC Vs Willie Mack Vs Kane
We're getting ready for the next match as we go backstage and Cage/ACH and Sol the undefeated guys of their respective brands are talking to each other. WAIT A MINUTE, KANE, KINGSTON AND ORTON HAVE ATTACKED THEM. Orton takes out Cage with a chair. Kane chokeslams ACH on the floor and Sol is thrown into the concrete. Orton/Kane/Kingston leave with fans booing in the background. What a smart move.
Four ladders are on each turnbuckle leading up towards a platform but because we're outside, we have an actual crane holding it above the ring!. Couple chairs and tables around ringside as well. The announcer is about to speak before music interrupts...AMBROSE. Ambrose comes out and says that he isn't happy with this match as he deserves a straight up title match. He is the #1 contender. Ambrose then announces that he spoke to Emil backstage and Emil didn't want to do it at first but he made him by threatening that he will steal the crane if he didn't oblige. He then announces that he will not be in this match and he will/should get the next title shot and leaves. I guess he threatened Emil that he'd steal the crane so Emil said yes but Ambrose is out.
10/10, 20:45. Announcer finally speaks, but again gets stopped and handed a note. I have just been informed that ACH, Samuray Del Sol and Brian Cage are unable to compete and will not be in this match tonight. A huge boo from the crowd but it was a smart move from them. All the wrestlers come out and this is now an 8 man MITB match. Back and forth action as all men begin to scramble up the ladders and fight for the next several minutes. Lots of different styles and action in this one throughout. Finishers and signature moves throughout. PAC climbs up one ladder side, Orton hits a powerbomb from underneath. Steen suplex into the corner. Gargano with a lawn dart into the ladder on Dragon. Mack hits a rugby tackle on Eddie taking him outside the ring. Men are fighting in and around the ring now as Dragon hits Eddie with a chair. PAC dives on them and so does Mack. Kane goes to the top rope and hits a dive as well. Orton and Steen begin climbing opposite sides. Both are dangling underneath the platform and Orton hits a backbreaker 20 feet high!!!. PAC and Mack are climbing but Kane grabs Mack by the throat while climbing and chokeslams him to the floor and hot sand outside!.
PAC is halfway up the ladder, changes his mind and hits a shooting star onto Eddie/Dragon outside!. Complete chaos in this one. Kane is double suplexed outside. Two tables are set up on top of each other facing one side of the ring. Gargano climbs the platform but Kane wobbles the ladders and Gargano falls down. Dragon covers Mack in chairs and hits a badonkadonk from the outside apron. Steen with a swanton onto PAC in the ring. Kane looks for a tombstone but Orton gets out of it and hits a dropkick. PAC begins to fight back and takes out everyone. He scurries up one ladder side fast and is on top of the platform!. Orton though doesn't know what to do and gets into the crane!. PAC has no idea and is holding on, taunting everyone else below. HOLY SHIT ORTON MOVES THE CRANE AND PAC IS DANGLING 25+ UP, ORTON IS SHAKING THE CRANE TRYING TO KNOCK HIM OFF. If PAC lets go he dies but wins!. PAC FALLS...JUST GRABS A HOLD OF THE CRANE. PAC is climbing down the crane, Orton gets onto the top of the crane hood and is trying to stop PAC from coming back. PAC has no choice but to go back up!. PAC climbs on top of the crane, above the case/contract. He looks left, then right and knows what he's gotta do. Orton is in the crane still trying to shake it. Kane/Dragon and the rest are below outside the ring trying to get up.
WAAAAAH PAC CORKSCREW TWISTING SHOOTING STAR 25 FOOT FROM A TOP THE CRANE TAKING EVERYONE OUT!!!. HOLY SHIT!!!!. Orton is shocked and can't believe it. Fans are going insane. Orton climbs back into the ring and climbs the ladder. Willie Mack just managed to move out the way in time and climbs the other side. Orton and Mack meet underneath the platform in the middle. Mack and Orton are fighting upside down. Orton swings Mack's legs into a ladder hook. Orton smiles and flips him off BAAAM RKO 20 FOOT UP ON WILLIE MACK!!!!. Orton almost killed himself to kill Willie. Dragon and Kane are climbing up the same side ladder. Kane gets on the platform first and tries to stop Dragon from getting on top as well. Dragon with headbutts though but Kane grabs his throat!. NO...CHOKESLAM THROUGH THE LADDER!!!!. Holy shit. One side of the platform breaks!!!. Dragon got sent through an acute positioned ladder!. One side breaks as Kane falls down but luckily holds onto the platform and has got to let go. Willie is done. Dragon is done. Kane is standing in the ring, Orton somehow is getting back up and Eddie Kingston is back in the ring now. Steen and Gargano are laid out on the outside.
The fans boo as the heels all look at each and then above. WAIT A MINUTE NO WAY!! BRIAN CAGE, ACH AND SAMURAY ARE BACK. THEY ATTACK KANE/ORTON/EDDIE AND CHASE THEM OUT THE RING. REVENGE FOR WHAT HAPPENED EARLIER. THEY DON'T EVEN CARE ABOUT WINNING NOW. Gargano and Steen are now climbing each side and they meet on top but above on the platform. Gargano attacks Steen hard and Steen is almost about to fall. Oh shit the two tables below!. Gargano looks for a superkick but Steen blocks it and military pressed Gargano. BAM BAM BAM over and over again he's pressing Gargano's back into the crane!. Steen while holding him in mid air, looks at the fans and they want it!. They're going crazy....STEEN THROWS GARGANO FROM THE PLATFORM THROUGH THE TWO TABLES BELOW AT RINGSIDE. HOLY FUCKING SHIT 20 FOOT HIGH!!. STEEN FIRES UP AND GRABS THE CASE!!!. IT'S OVER!!!. What a match!. Steen celebrates and comes down the ladder. Fans cheer for him as bodies, chairs, broken tables and ladders lie everywhere. Steen stands in the ring and raises the case!.
(Really think Ambrose is the number #1 so he shouldn't be in this match. Thought the crane stealing thing was a funny idea. ACH/Sol and Cage are undefeated and shouldn't be in this situation so had to take them out with the heels. Hope you don't mind and you could even get a 6 man tag match out of it. Thought I'd bring them back so they can get revenge and take the attacks out. Leaves Gargano who I don't think is ready yet. Dragon who didn't need it. Mack was too early, PAC has had a lot but since Steen just came off a winning feud and a face I chose him.)
Before we go to to the main event of the evening, the chairman of the board; Shane McMahon walks down the ramp and down to the ring. get gets a lot of booos on his way down. As he enters the ring, he gets handed a microphone, and he cuts right down to the chase. He's been watching every match tonight, and he is really impressed by what people have down inside these ropes tonight. He congrats Cole on retaining his title, and he also congrats Sheamus, Young Bucks and Sami Callihan. But, I'm not going to stand here and bore you all about this. Shane leaves the ring, getting more boos, but also some cheers from the auduience. It's almost like the EAM fans didn't expect him to book such a match. Shane walks up the ramp, smiling to himself.....
EAM Title Matchup
Kurt Angle (c) Vs Daniel Bryan
Main event time!. This is like a dream match for a lot of people. May have been better a few years ago though. Angle has had the belt for a while and a controversial win over Ambrose. Daniel was a bad guy but the fans just couldn't hate him and he's back to being a good guy. Both guys are pretty popular and with Ambrose waiting in the wings and now Steen as well, a lot could happen in the future.
Great 10/10 match, 25:45 and lots of back/forth action, technical heaven and signature/finishing moves. Angle slaps Daniel and Daniel just smiles. Angle takes down Daniel, picks him up and slams him down again. Angle continues to mat wrestle Angle until Daniel grabs the ropes to break it up. Daniel goes after Angle, takes him down and locks in a headlock. Angle counters out of the headlock into a back drop driver but Daniel keeps the headlock locked in. Daniel is groggy, gets up...ANGLE SLAM...WAIT DANIEL REVERSES IT WITH AN ARM DRAG. Daniel goes to the corner. BAAAAAM RUNNING KNEE+ ON ANGLE....COVER 1...2....3 WAAH IT'S OVER!!!. HOLY SHIT HE DID IT!!!. Daniel did it!. Just like that and the fans are going crazy. What a match and ending. As the fans cheer on the now darkened sun lit beach. He celebrates with the belt and fans. After the match Angle could maybe shake hands with him and hold his hand high. Show ends with Daniel celebrating with the belts and fans cheering Yes.
(Picked Daniel because it may have been his only chance or at least for a while. Angle had it for quite a bit so it wasn't a bad reign. Maybe would've been better if he won at a bigger PPV but it was still bigger than last month's and still a title win. Survived two Angle Slams and puts over the Running Knee that Angle only received one of. Just thought he deserved it. Both looked good and it was very technical and mat wrestling based. Sort of passing of the torch as well. I think Ambrose and Angle should have a #1 match at the next PPV. Makes perfect sense actually. Not huge on the stipulation for the next PPV though.)
