Young 'Britain's Got Talent' hopeful Shaheen Jafargholi has hailed the show's judge Simon Cowell as "God in the music industry".

The 12-year-old singer from Wales initially performed 'Valerie' on the show, only to be stopped mid-performance by Cowell, who asked him to sing a different song.

Later, the young singer's version of The Jackson 5's 'Who's Lovin' You?' drew a standing ovation from the audience and the judges.

Speaking to Wales Online, Shaheen Jafargholi said: "I thought to myself that this was my one chance and I'd blown it."

"I stood there and thought: 'What's gone wrong?'."

"But I couldn't believe Simon Cowell had given me a second chance. He's basically God in the music industry."
