Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen isn't exactly winning the hearts of film critics. Fortunately for those of us who mostly stick to interactive entertainment, the Transformers game is faring much better with reviewers than its big screen counterpart. Also good news for gamers: Activision plans on releasing fairly substantial DLC updates for the Transformers videogame later this summer.
Full details on the DLC weren't provided, but you can expect a host of new Achievements and Trophies to unlock, 10 new multiplayer characters (including Sideswipe and G1 Starscream, pictured above), three multiplayer maps, and additional characters for playing through both the Autobot and Decepticon single-player campaigns. An expert difficulty mode for the offline game will also be added along with the new content.

No pricing info or release date were announced. Still, we'd conjecture that an update of this magnitude coming out of Activision will run you about 10 bucks. That's solely based on the traditional pricing structure of Call of Duty map packs, mind you.
