It's a hefty slate of updates this week on the PlayStation Store for both the PS3 and PSP. Both platforms can enjoy the PSone Classic Spec Ops: Ranger Elite ($6), while PSP owners alone can find a threesome of downloadable games: the very lengthy-titled Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! What Did I Do to Deserve This? ($20), the point-and-click classic Myst ($15), and Unbound Saga ($15). In addition to that, there is a pair of downloadable tracks for Rock Band: Unplugged ($2).
Namco Museum Essentials ($10) is the sole PS3 downloadable game and comes accompanied by a demo. Demos of Fuel and Trash Panic are also both now available for those who are interested, but the main attraction this week might not be any new release -- until July 23 (that's next Thursday), a sale on seven PSN games is in effect. Have a look:

  • WipEout HD (was $19.99, now $14.99)
  • Flock (was $14.99, now $7.49)
  • Savage Moon (was $9.99, now $4.99)
  • Crash Commando (was $9.99, $4.99)
  • PixelJunk Eden (was $9.99, now $4.99)
  • Brain Challenge (was $9.99, now $4.99)
  • 3 on 3 NHL Arcade (was $9.99, now $4.99)

Headlining the downloadable content releases is the previously announced Ghostbusters costume pack for Little Big Planet ($2 each of $6 bundle). Along with that batch of content are several free DLC packs for Cross Edge and Dynasty Warriors 6, 17 different add-ons for NCAA Football 10, and, of course, new music for both Rock Band and Guitar Hero World Tour.
