You're absolutely right. I'm not a Farve fan or Vikings, but the guy can still get it done.

The part about having the rest of the team cover your ass because the QB sux is total bullshit. If the QB sux, chances are so does the team. Look at Oakland, (my team) Tennessee, Vikings with Tarvaris Jackson, Dolphins with Gus Frerotte.....they change QB's and the team is turned around.

How about you reserve comments specifically made to me until you can make them about things I'm actually doing?

Also, let's admit that while some of the teams you mentioned have improved by changing QBs, others haven't, & in those cases, they don't have the best support group.

yes but adding the new qb improved the team to a point
the point of this discusiion is farve is a solid qb who had a great statistical season
and deserves another chance at a title and if he performs as well as last season
the vikings could go away

That comment holds no frame of reference to what you two have been talking about. The topic was Brett coming back. The argument was that he should return. You don't think he should. I get it.

Improved it in some, but not others. If the receivers can't catch, who cares who does the throwing?

Every athlete has good & bad years; Last season was surprisingly good, but we can't guarantee he'll repeat that.

But if he does, they could go away? Why would they leave during a good year?
