Well... he already got his shot, two of them in fact, so he's not the #1 contender anymore, thus he has to earn another shot. Basically just a way of building up to Hardy vs. Anderson, really.

A PPV NOT featuring a World Championship match? What the hell? This PPV will not get any Buys.

^^ Offcourse it will! It's better to build up a real good feud for the Title instead of giving it to just anybody in the first PPV of the year.

hopefully matt Hardy is the surprise opponent for RVD I think now with the position of matt hardy leaving wwe and jeff hardy having a hand picked opponent alot of people will be dissapointed if they dont see matt hardy.

Yea what I thought Matt could take over for Jeff or something with all the Criminal stuff and he saying he will change wrestling it's possible he'll end up in TNA anyway.

TNA could make for some good TV if the surprise opponent wasnt matt but he came down the entrance ramp and attacked hardy.. the 2 hardys had some great matches in 2009 for WWE they could headline a PPV for the belt but I dont see it happening with the number one contender fued happening

its a pretty decent card when you have matches like that theres no issue not having a world title bout I just think TNA went very very wrong not pushing the ANgle Jarrett fued for a month im guessing theres gunna be something happen on impact this week to announce it we get impact tonight in Australia but 1 show only a couple of days before the PPV isnt good enough in my opinion
