    AEW Rampage

    This week on RAMPAGE, United Empire faces FTR and Trent Beretta. Jay Lethal teams with Satnam Singh for his in-ring debut. Jake Hager takes on Eddie Kingston.






    – Excalibur welcomes us to the show. He introduces his usual partners on crime on the broadcast and then sends things down to the ring for our opening contest of the evening.

    Eddie Kingston vs. Jake Hager

    Kingston and Hager start throwing haymakers at the bell. Hager gets the better of it and lays out Kingston with clotheslines. Hager punches away as Kingston is down on his knees. Hager throws Kingston outside the ring to the floor. Kingston meets him with some chops but Hager goes low with a knee to the gut to retake control. Hager slams Kingston’s head into the ring apron and they head back into the ring.

    Hager hits a backdrop suplex and grounds Kingston with a double underhook from behind. Hager throws Kingston out of the ring again. He follows him out and suplexes Kingston on the floor. Kingston tries to fight back but Hager kicks him down and rolls him back in the ring.

    Hager pounds on Kingston’s lower back in the corner. Kingston fires up with some chops but Hager cuts him off with a belly-to-belly suplex. He tries a cover but Kingston immediately kicks out.

    Hager grounds Kingston with an arm bar. Kingston fights to his feet and slaps away at Hager. Another knee to the midsection by Hager stalls Kingston’s momentum. Hager chops Kingston but that only fires up Kingston and he comes back with a flurry of chops including one to the side of Hager’s head. Kingston boots Hager in the head but misses a follow-up and Hager hits an overhead throw. Both men are down as we go to the picture-in-picture break.

    Back from the break, Kingston is on his knees, flipping the bird to Hager. Hager responds with punches. Kingston goes after Hager’s eyes and hits a DDT for a 2-count.

    Kingston is up and firing with chops. He batters Hager with a machine gun chops in the corner. He tries for an exploder suplex but Hager blocks and hits a Vader Bomb for a 2-count.

    Hager tries for an ankle lock but Kingston fights him off. Hager tries a gut-wrench suplex but Kingston blocks and hits an exploder suplex and a Saito suplex for a 2-count.

    Kingston sets up for the spinning back fist but Hager ducks and puts Kingston in an ankle lock. Kingston is close to the ropes but Hager pulls him back to the center of the ring. Kingston fights to the ropes again and makes it this time.

    Hager backs Kingston into the corner. He mounts him and punches away at Kingston. Kingston takes it and carries Hager out for a powerbomb. Kingston hits a pair of spinning back fists and covers Hager to get the pin.

    Winner: Eddie Kingston

    – Backstage, Tony Schiavone is with Dr. Britt Baker, Jamie Hayter, and Rebel. Baker still has the belt she got for winning the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament. Baker was not happy to see Toni Storm put her hands on the AEW Women’s Championship on Wednesday’s “Dynamite”. Baker thinks Storm is trying to cut the line. Baker says “Team DMD” will win the title before Storm does. We go to a commercial break.

    – Back from the break, we get a hype video for Wednesday’s hair vs. hair match between Chris Jericho and Ortiz.

    Jay Lethal & Satnam Singh (with Sonjay Dutt) vs. Davey Vega & Mat Fitchett

    Lethal starts out but actually just tags in Singh. Singh stuns Fitchett with a knee lift. Singh follows with a big chop in the corner. Singh goes for a suplex but Vega runs in to try to stop him so Singh takes down both men. He tags in Lethal and holds their opponents up for a double Lethal Injection for the win.

    Winners: Jay Lethal & Satnam Singh

    Lethal, Singh, and Dutt beat down both men after the match. Singh hits Fitchett with a spinning crucifix bomb.

    – Backstage earlier today, Lexy Nair interviews Danhausen and Hook. Danhausen rolls up in a golf cart to greet her. Hook follows in a much cooler ATV, drops his shades at Nair, and zips away.

    – Back in the arena, Red Velvet makes her entrance, followed by Kris Statlander.

    Red Velvet vs. Kris Statlander

    Velvet tries to jump Statlander before the bell but runs right into a powerslam on the floor. Statlander press slams Velvet back into the ring and follows with some running strikes. Velvet retreats to the floor. Statlander is in pursuit and beats up on Velvet. Velvet tries to jump on Statlander but Statlander carries her on her back up the ring steps and tosses her back into the ring.

    Statlander goes to the top rope but misses a cross body. She quickly recovers to get Velvet up for a delayed vertical suplex but never lands it as Velvet slips out the back. Velvet is able to attack Statlander’s knee as we go to the picture-in-picture break.

    Back from the break, Velvet and Statlander are trading strikes in the middle of the ring. Statlander hits a snap backbreaker to end the exchange and powers Velvet into the corner. Statlander drives her shoulder into Velvet and lands some chops. Statlander carries Velvet out of the corner into a spinning Blue Thunder Bomb for a 2-count.

    Statlander lifts Velvet in the electric chair position but Velvet reveres into a victory roll for a pinning attempt. Statlander gets her own rollup attempt but rolls through into a German suplex and follows with another slam for a 2-count.

    Statlander hoists Velvet onto her shoulders. Velvet hangs onto the ropes and then drop kicks Statlander into the second rope. Velvet runs up to the second turnbuckle and comes off with a cutter. She follows with her Just Desserts kick for a 2-count.

    Velvet lines up Statlander but Statlander blocks a corkscrew kick and hits the Friday Night Fever (formerly known as the Big Bang Theory) to get the pin.

    Winner: Kris Statlander

    The Baddies attack after the bell. Jade Cargill hits a pump kick to Statlander on the floor. Anna Jay runs down and puts Kiera Hogan in the Queenslayer but Velvet and Hogan are too much. Athena’s music plays and she runs down to get involved but referees and officials hold Athena back.

    – We get a hype video for this Wednesday’s All-Atlantic Championship qualifying match between Ethan Page and Miro.

    – Backstage, Lexy Nair chats with Page, Scorpio Sky, Dan Lambert. Page says he believes in himself. He says he’ll be waving the flag of Canada and Miro will be praying to him next Wednesday. We go to a commercial break.

    – Back from the break, Mark Henry is chatting with the participants in tonight’s main event. Will Ospreay introduces himself, Aussie Open, and Aaron Henare. He says they’re here to separate the sheep from the goats.

    Trent Beretta says he didn’t like Ospreay when he was starting out and he still doesn’t. FTR says they’re the actual best tag team on the planet.

    Will Ospreay & Aussie Open (with Aaron Henare) vs. Trent Beretta & FTR

    Ospreay starts out against Dax Harwood. They grapple to start out. It ends in a stalemate. Ospreay and Dax lock up and Ospreay backs Dax into the corner. They trade chops and Dax tags in Cash Wheeler.

    Cash knocks down Ospreay with a shoulder tackle but Ospreay kips up. Another exchange leads to a messy head-scissor takedown by Ospreay. They tumble into the ropes and Kyle Fletcher tags in.

    Fletcher clocks Cash with a strike and tags in Mark Davis. Davis throws Cash into his corner and Beretta tags in. Beretta avoids a chop and hits some of his own on Davis. Davis catches a cross body but Beretta slips out. Davis knocks down Beretta and tags in Ospreay.

    Beretta catches Ospreay with a tornado DDT and things break loose with everyone fighting. Beretta hits an Asai moonsault onto Ospreay on the floor. He sends Ospreay back into the ring as we go to the picture-in-picture break.

    Back from the break, Beretta hits a back body drop to Ospreay. Fletcher tags in and grabs Beretta’s foot but Beretta kicks him away. Davis tags in and hits a senton on Beretta. Fletcher tags back in and pounds on Beretta in the corner. Fletcher misses a dropkick into the corner. Beretta makes the tag to Dax.

    Dax punches away on both members of Aussie Open. Ospreay comes in and also gets knocked down. Dax suplexes Davis onto Fletcher. Dax pounds on Fletecher in the corner but Ospreay attacks from behind. Dax dispatches Ospreay with a big clotheslines and then hits a trio of German suplexes on Fletchers. Cash tags in and hits a powerbomb on Fletcher. A German suplex-jacknife cover combo gets a 2-count for FTR.

    Fletcher fights back but Cash slips out the back on a suplex attempt. Fletcher hits a kick and tags in Davis for a tag team maneuver. Ospreay follows with a 450 Splash. Beretta breaks up the pin attempt. Ospreay catches Dax with a kick and hits Cash with the Oscutter for a 2-count.

    Fletcher tags in but misses a charge into the corner. Beretta tags in and he trades strikes with Fletcher. Beretta hits a backdrop suplex. Ospreay comes in and takes out FTR with a crossbody over the top rope to the floor. Fletcher rolls up Beretta for a 2-count.

    Beretta tries a rollup but Fletcher kicks out. Beretta hits Strong Zero on Fletcher and that gets the pin.

    Winner: Trent Beretta & FTR
