Bron Breakker and Grayson Waller come face-to-face on The Grayson Waller Effect

Just one week before their showdown at New Years Evil for the NXT Championship, Bron Breakker and Grayson Waller will meet in the ring one last time during the latest edition of The Grayson Waller Effect. Will Breakker exact any revenge for the recent antics of the challenger or will Waller outsmart the champion once again?




– The first WWE NXT of 2023 opens up with a video package looking back at 2022. We’re now live on the USA Network as Vic Joseph welcomes us to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. He’s joined at ringside by WWE Hall of Famer Booker T. They hype the show and we go right to the ring for the opener.

Carmelo Hayes vs. Apollo Crews

The music hits and out first comes Carmelo Hayes with Trick Williams. Apollo Crews is out next as Alicia Taylor does the ring introductions.

The bell rings and they go at it, unloading on each other and countering. Crews nails a dropkick to really strike first. Hayes comes back and flies into a takedown. Hayes with kicks against the ropes now. Hayes with the springboard leg drop for a 2 count.

Hayes rocks Crews in the corner. Hayes shows off some but goes to work in the corner. Crews fights out and nails chops. Hayes kicks him and goes for a suplex but Crews blocks with a long vertical suplex of his own, then slams Hayes to the mat. Crews launches himself in from the apron with a plancha. Crews with a corner splash and a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Hayes kicks out at 2 as Trick looks on.

Crews stays on Hayes, chopping him some more. Hayes with a forearm to the jaw to get out of the corner, then a kick. Crews counters a move and nails a German suplex, then another. Crews goes for the third German but it’s blocked. They tangle and Crews hits the overhead belly-to-belly toss. Crews clotheslines Hayes over the top to the floor, then hits the Asahi Moonsault from the apron, right in front of Trick. Crews rushes back into the ring, then yells out to the crowd for a pop. We go to commercial.

Back from the break and Hayes ends up turning it around thanks to a distraction by Trick. Crews falls to the floor and clutches his leg. Hayes follows and sends Crews knee-first into the steel ring steps as Trick barks on. Hayes brings it back in and covers for 2. Hayes focuses on the hurt knee in the corner now.

Crews looks to fight back but Hayes works on the knee again, then nails a powerbomb for 2. Hayes goes right into the single-leg Boston Crab as Crews yells out in pain. Crews finally kicks Hayes with an enziguri but he’s slow to capitalize as they’re both down now. Crews with a clothesline and a kick to the knee, then a pump kick to Hayes. Crews quickly nails a clothesline to turn Hayes inside out. They tangle some more and Crews hits the Backstabber, then a flying clothesline.

Crews plays to the crowd for a pop now. Crews with an enziguri in the corner to send Hayes to the apron. Crews brings Hayes up for a superplex from the apron to the mat, and he hits it. Hayes still kicks out at 2. More back and forth now. Crews with a pump kick. Hayes fights back and levels Crews with a big Cutter. Hayes goes to the top but has to roll through as Crews moves. Crews fights back and hits a middle rope Blockbuster but Hayes still kicks out. Fans chant “NXT!” now. Trick hits the apron to distract Crews but Crews clotheslines him to the floor.

Crew blocks Hayes with a jumping knee and a German suplex. Crews presses Hayes high in the air. Hayes comes back with a jumping knee, then a big Facebuster. Hayes goes to the top and hits the flying leg drop for the pin to win.

Winner: Carmelo Hayes

– After the match, Hayes recovers as his music hits. Trick rolls in to check on Hayes as we go to replays. Axiom suddenly attacks to send Hayes and Trick tot he floor. Axiom then jumps to the top and leaps back to the floor, taking them down. Axiom rolls Trick into the ring and it looks like their match is next.

Axiom vs. Trick Williams

Back from the break and Axiom is going at it with Trick Williams as Carmelo Hayes looks on from ringside. Trick got the upperhand and took over after a big pop-up punch during the commercial.

Trick ends up dropping Axiom with a stiff shot in the corner. Trick plays to the crowd as most boo him. Trick misses a big chop, then Axiom ducks and fires back with a chop.

Axiom looks to mount some offense but Trick levels him in mid-air, impressing the announcers. Trick goes to lift Axiom up but Axiom dropkicks him on the way down. Axiom keeps control and hits a crossbody from the top for 2. Axiom goes into an armbar as Trick resists. Axiom gets it locked in but Trick gets his foot on the bottom rope to break the hold.

Trick rocks Axiom and turns him inside out for another close 2 count. Trick charges but Axiom drops him with a big right hand. Axiom with the Golden Ratio for the pin to win.

Winner: Axiom

– After the match, Axiom stands tall as the music hits. Hayes attacks Axiom from behind and now they double team him. They stomp away on Axiom until Apollo Crews makes the save. Aximo’s music starts up as he stands with Crews in the ring.

– WWE NXT Tag Team Champions The New Day are backstage giving more chores to Pretty Deadly. The Schism walks up. Rip Fowler approaches and says The New Day has talked to every other NXT tag team but The Schism because they realize The Schism is their biggest threat. Xavier Woods says they look like Texas Chainsaw Massacre extras. Kofi Kingston insults them and has words with Joe Gacy. Gacy says Big E and Woods have leaned on Kofi. Kofi dismisses this idea. Gacy says they are a real family, unlike The New Day. Kofi thought his issue was with Fowler but apparently it’s with Gacy, and he will solve it tonight. Gacy says taking out a former WWE Champion and the greatest tag team champion of all-time will only make The Schism stronger. The Schism walks off.

– We see how Donovan Dijak abducted Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo last week as NXT North American Champion Wes Lee defeated Tony D’Angelo. We cut to a video that shows Dijak holding Stacks hostage somewhere. Stacks is beat up. Dijak presses play on a tape player and admires Stacks’ loyalty to Tony D but says loyalty has consequences and disrespecting Dijak won’t go un-punished. Dijak goes on with his promo to Stacks, then declares that he is the Face of Fear in NXT. He grabs Stacks’ face and hits him. Stacks tells Dijak to be a man and un-cuff him so they can handle it in the ring. Dijak takes the tape out, and places the handcuff on the table, then walks off.

We go back to the ring and out comes Donovan Dijak. Back to commercial.

Back from the break and Drew Gulak is teaching the Chase University students some moves in the ring. Andre Chase walks up and asks what the hell is going on. Duke Hudson says they’re just learning some moves. Chase mentions Charlie Dempsey being injured and unable to face Hank Walker tonight, but says Gulak can’t just put his students in the ring without permission. Hank, Gulak and others don’t believe Dempsey is really injured. Gulak and Chase have some words. Thea Hail holds Chase back as Duke Hudson defends Chase to Gulak, who stands by with a smug look on his face. Chase shuts the training seminar down and takes his students away with him. We go back to the ring and out comes Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo with Tony D’Angelo, and he’s ready to fight. The bell rings and Stacks attacks Dijak with aggression.

Dijak fights back to his feet and rocks Stacks. Dijak with a big knee to the gut for a 2 count. Dijak mounts Stacks with big right hands now as the referee warns him. Stacks kicks out at 2.

Dijak with more big strikes for another pin attempt. Dijak stomps on Stacks in the mid-section to keep him down. Stacks mounts offense and nails big running uppercuts. Stacks charged again but runs into a huge big boot to turn him inside out. Dijak covers for 2. Dijak scoops Stacks for a rib-breaker, but Stacks rolls him for 2.

Dijak with a big kick to the face as Tony D looks on. Dijak slingshots Stacks to his shoulders, then nails Feast Your Eyes for the pin to win.

– After the match, Dijak stands tall as the music hits and we go to replays. We come back to Dijak preparing another Feast Your Eyes on Stacks. Tony D hits the ring and fights Dijak off, sending him to the floor with a clothesline. Tony takes the mic and says Dijak wishes he had half the heart Stacks does. Tony challenges Dijak to face him and find out about street justice at New Year’s Evil next week. Dijak yells back and accepts the challenge. Tony D and Stacks look on as The Don’s music hits.

– McKenzie Mitchell is backstage with Oro Mensah now. She asks about 2022 and what to expect in 2023. Mensah says he got his feet wet in 2022 but he’s diving in head-first this year, and that starts with a win tonight. Javier Bernal interrupts and says 2023 will be the year of Big Body Javi, and what better way to kick it off than with his own Christmas album. McKenzie points to how Christmas is over. Bernal says anyone can release a Christmas album during Christmas but he’s Big Body Javi. Mensah says this is kind of cringe, but when he’s done with Bernal tonight, he won’t have a singing voice any longer. Mensah says he will see Javi out there.

– We go back to the ring and out comes Toxic Attraction – Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne. Back to commercial.

Back from the break and Dolin and Jayne have mics in the ring. They say Toxic Attraction is and always was the main attraction of this brand. It’s now 2023 and time to leave 2022 in the past. They say all eyes are on them and others will watch in remorse as they push the envelope even further than they have over the last 18 months. They will cut through the roster with reckless abandon. Jayne says they are now bonded by battle scars, and they will be the one to call the shots moving forward. They don’t do New Year’s Resolutions, they do revenge. They go on about how the whole world will watch their moves but they will only watch one woman. One woman, one target – NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez. They say Perez may want to take down their Toxic Empire, but they’re going to build it back, brick by brick, and use her broken body as the foundation.

The music hits and out comes Indi Hartwell. Indi is sick of hearing about Toxic Attraction. She says when Perez won the title, she thought it was the end of the group but she’s here to finish what they started as it’s time for new blood at the top of the division, and that starts with Indi. Cora Jade comes out to interrupt, saying Indi is once again complaining. Jade insults Indi and says no wonder why everyone in her life left her. Jade says no one wants to see Indi champion, but she deserves the title. Nikkita Lyons interrupts from the crowd. She runs down Jade on the mic and says all she deserves is a kick to the face, and Indi was right about new blood. Lyons says she will throw hands with anybody.

Zoey Stark interrupts, also from the crowd, and knocks Lyons, wondering why she’s even out here. Stark says Lyons should be showing off her assets to Instagram. Stark says Roxanne’s title run will be so short. Wendy Choo now interrupts and has words for Stark, then Jade. Stark is tired of talking. She heads to the ring. Thea Hail interrupts from the crowd and she is fired up. She rushes the ring as Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre come out to start brawling at ringside. The ring suddenly fills up with the rest of the women’s division, including Sol Ruca, Lash Legend, Elektra Lopez and several others. A big brawl breaks out as referees try to restore order.

Dawn and Fyre brawl out to the backstage area, then the parking lot. The music interrupts in the arena and out comes Perez to the platform over the crowd. Perez tells everyone fighting in the ring to relax, they don’t need to fight each other. Perez says there will be a 20-woman Battle Royal to crown a new #1 contender next week, and the winner will be her first challenger at NXT Vengeance Day. Perez looks on as the fight continues in the ring.

Extreme Resolution Match: Isla Dawn vs. Alba Fyre

Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre are brawling outside now. Fyre slams Dawn into a dumpster several times, then into a door. The brawl continues and Vic says the Extreme Resolution match has already started. We go to commercial with the Anything Goes-rules match going back into the building.

Back from the break and Dawn is brawling with Fyre in the nearby WWE warehouse. Dawn chokes Fyre and laughs. Dawn rams a piece of shelving into Fyre, then talks trash while delivering punches to the face. Dawn sends Fyre face-first into the large X prop.

Fyre fights Dawn off with elbows, then slams her on top of the X. Referees rush over to try and restore order, telling them they can’t fight back here. Fyre drops Dawn, ignoring the referees. Dawn fights back and throws something at Fyre’s face. They continue using weapons on each other as officials try and restore order. Fyre apparently drops Dawn with a pipe. Fyre tries to knock a ladder over onto Dawn but she moves. Dawn kicks Fyre away and climbs on top of a storage structure. Fyre meets her up top and they brawl.

Fyre knocks Dawn off the structure, onto a pile of steel chairs and debris down below. Referees check on Dawn now, who is almost convulsing it seems. Referees try to walk Fyre out of the building but she grabs Dawn and places her in a chair. Fyre pushes the chair and stops it to deliver right hands to the face. Fyre with a trash can lid over the back. Fyre places Dawn in a wheel-barrow now. Fyre pushes the wheel-barrow away and then dumps her back at the ringside area. Fyre sends Dawn face-first into the ring post, then the announce table as fans pop. Fyre brings it back in and she has a steel chair now.

The bell finally rings as Dawn blocks the chair shot, but Fyre rams her into the corner with it. Dawn fights back and nails a snap suplex into the turnbuckles. Fyre kicks out at 2. Dawn works Fyre over and stomps her hand. Fyre continues to punish Dawn. More back and forth between the two.

Fyre with the Gory Bomb but Dawn kicks out just in time. Fyre brings a chair in and nails Dawn. Fyre places the chair on top of Dawn, then she goes up top. Dawn jumps up and smacks Fyre with the chair, knocking her to the floor. We go back to commercial.

Dawn controls through the break until Fyre uses a wrench. Fyre talks to herself some as we come back. Fyre has Dawn down in the ring. Dawn fights free and they trade big strikes in the middle of the ring as fans count along. Fyre slams Dawn face-first into the mat. Fyre with a punt kick. Dawn ducks a kick and rolls Fyre up for a close 2 count.

Fyre superkicks Dawn to the floor, then nails a suicide dive. Fans chant “NXT!” now. Fans do dueling chants as Fyre brings a table from under the ring, now they cheer louder. Fyre stands the table up at ringside as the referee tends to Dawn and a “table!” chant breaks out. Fyre rocks Dawn and goes for a Gory Bomb into the table but Dawn sends her into the steel ring steps.

Dawn has a tool box on the steps. She smashes Fyre’s hand in the tool box lid. Dawn goes to smash the lid with a hammer but Fyre escapes just in time. They fight by the table again now as Dawn works on the hurt hand. Fyre counters and nails a headbutt but Dawn is still standing. Fyre places Dawn on top of the table.

Fyre goes to the top turnbuckle as Dawn looks up and smiles from the table, then lays back down flat on her back. Fyre leaps off the top with a big senton but she only somewhat hits Dawn and the table, then lands hard on the floor. Fyre gets right back up and puts Dawn through the table with a Gory Bomb. Fyre rolls Dawn back into the ring and covers for the pin to win.

Winner: Alba Fyre

– After the match, Fyre sits up in the ring as her music hits. Fyre has her arm raised as we go to replays. Fyre stands tall while Dawn is still down.

– Grayson Waller is backstage with McKenzie Mitchell. He’s confident about facing NXT Champion Bron Breakker next week after a long 10 days at home in Australia. McKenzie can’t understand why he’s so confident when Breakker wants to rip his face off. Waller goes on about outsmarting Bron and getting him to a vulnerable place, and says he will finish the job tonight, so that next week will be a cake walk. Waller says Breakker may have that dog in him, but that doesn’t make him immune to The Grayson Waller Effect. Waller chirps like a small dog and laughs, then walks off.

– Still to come, a look at Indus Sher vs. The Creed Brothers. Back to commercial.

– Back from the break and we get a video package on Indus Sher vs. The Creed Brothers at New Year’s Evil. The video includes comments from both teams and highlights from their feud. Indus Sher goes on about how they’re respected and held high in India, but no one in America cares about them. The Creeds say they will be stepping stones for no one. Indus Sher says The Creeds were one of the best tag teams in 2022 but that won’t be the case in 2023, and The Creeds should’ve listened to Ivy Nile. They waited for the perfect moment to get The Creeds at 100% so there could be no excuse from The Creeds and the fans. The Creeds say if Indus Sher wants respect, all they’re getting next week is body blows and power shots, respect is earned and not given, and The Creeds won’t give them a single inch. Indus Sher promises a mauling next week.

Oro Mensah vs. Javier Bernal

We go back to the ring and out first comes Oro Mensah. Javier Bernal attacks from behind during the entrance but it back-fires. Mensah rocks Bernal and rolls him into the ring as the bell hits.

Mensah goes to work on Bernal but Bernal turns it around. Fans chant “Javi sucks!” now as he controls Mensah. Bernal with a kick and a back suplex for a 2 count. Bernal keeps control with another slam for 2. Bernal argues with the referee some.

Bernal kicks Mensah and punches him around. Mensah tries to fight back but Bernal drops him, then hits a back elbow. Bernal covers for 2. Mensah gets an opening but Bernal drops him with a DDT for a close 2 count. Bernal with more offense until Mensah back-drops him. Mensa with a pair of clotheslines, then a flying forearm. Mensah with a springboard moonsault in the middle of the ring off a counter. Bernal catches a pump kick but Mensah nails an overhead kick.

Mensah is sent to the apron but he applies a submission on the ropes as the referee warns him. Mensah smiles, then nails a T-Bone suplex. Mensah charges from one corner to the other, nailing a spin kick to the face for the pin to win.

Winner: Oro Mensah

– After the match, Mensah stands tall as the music hits. He stands in the corner to play to the crowd now.

– Josh Briggs, Brooks Jensen and Fallon Henley are backstage. They talk Henley up for winning The Battle of The Bar last week. They are fired up for 2023 being their year. Briggs and Jensen say Henley will win the Battle Royal next week, then the title at Vengeance Day. Kiana James walks up and Henley stands up. James tells her to relax, she’s not here to fight her. James congratulates Henley on her big win last week and says Henley beat her fair and square. James jokes that condos would look good on the bar property, but she will hold up her end of the bargain. James wishes Henley good luck and says she will see her in the Battle Royal next week. James looks at Jensen and tells him to text her later. Jensen says he will, and Henley asks Briggs when this started.

Andre Chase vs. Drew Gulak

We go back to the ring and out comes Chase University – Andre Chase with Duke Hudson and Thea Hail. Back to commercial.

Back from a break and we see a video that was sent to the official NXT Twitter account by someone anonymous, that shows someone filming NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Katana Chance and Kayden Carter while they talked with a doctor in the trainer’s room. We see their Twitter responses where they called the person filming a creep, and wondered what kind of person films a private medical conversation. We go back to the ring and out comes Drew Gulak with Hank Walker as Chase U looks on. Vic says Charlie Dempsey is not medically cleared to face Walker tonight. They lock up and tangle into the corner, then back off with no cheap shots.

They lock up again and Gulak goes for a Chickenwing but Chase gets to the rope and the hold is broken as Hail shrieks at ringside. Gulak rocks Chase and takes him down. Chase kips-up and turns the hold around. Chase keeps control but Gulak nails a belly-to-back suplex, then Gulak grounds him.

We see Dempsey watching the match from backstage. Dempsey removes the sling from his arm, then throws it down. Dempsey walks off. More back and forth between Gulak and Chase in the ring. Gulak shoots Walker a look and Booker T predicts a brawl soon. Chase works Gulak over and hits the side-Russian leg sweep, then the C-H-A-S-E-U stomps as fans spell it with him.

Chase with a Figure Four leglock now. Gulak gets the bottom rope to break the hold. Gulak slaps Chase with a big strike. Gulak snaps a bit and unloads on Chase against the ropes. Gulak slams Chase into the bottom rope. Gulak applies the Gu-Lock and Chase taps out for the win.

Winner: Drew Gulak

– After the match, Gulak keeps the hold applied until the referee has to warn him. The music hits as Gulak continues his loud celebration at ringside, even surprising Walker a bit.

– McKenzie Mitchell is backstage with NXT North American Champion Wes Lee. She says he retained to close out the year, but it seems like Donovan Dijak and Tony D’Angelo aren’t going anywhere. Lee agrees and says he will join the announcers for commentary next week during D’Angelo vs. Dijak, and maybe he will bring some popcorn. Lee indicates he will challenge the winner in a title match. Lee walks off after wishing a Happy New Year to McKenzie.

WWE NXT Tag Team Champion Kofi Kingston vs. Joe Gacy

We go back to the ring and out come WWE NXT Tag Team Champions The New Day – Kofi Kingston with Xavier Woods. Back to commercial.

Back from the break and out comes The Schism – Joe Gacy with Ava Raine, Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid. Woods has joined Vic and Booker on commentary. The bell rings and Kofi goes at it with Gacy.

Kofi strikes first and drops Gacy for a quick pin attempt. Gacy whips Kofi into the corner but Kofi leaps off the top with a crossbody for 2. Gacy runs into a kick in the corner. Kofi goes to the top but Ava crotches him while Fowler has the referee distracted. Gacy leaps up top to Kofi for a superplex, and he nails it.

Gacy covers for a close 2 count in the middle of the ring. Gacy stomps on Kofi now, then elbows him in the head as we see The Dyad ranting from ringside. Fans rally for The New Day but Gacy beats Kofi around the ring some more. Kofi with a dropkick from the second rope. Gacy charges and catches Kofi in a botched backbreaker. Gacy with another backbreaker in the middle of the ring now. Gacy mounts Kofi from behind and clubs him with forearms. Gacy with a chinlock to keep Kofi grounded now.

Kofi fights out and sends Gacy down, then drops him with a stiff right but Kofi also goes own. Kofi gets up first and mounts some offense. Kofi with a dropkick. Gacy blocks SOS but Kofi nails a double knee drop to the back from the corner. Gacy kicks out at 2. Kofi with a running kick to the face, then the Boom Drop in the middle of the ring. Kofi plays to the crowd for a pop now. Gacy blocks Trouble In Paradise and drops Kofi on his head for a close 2 count. Gacy scoops Kofi to his shoulder but Kofi fights off. Kofi with a swinging neckbreaker for a 2 count.

Kofi goes to the top but Fowler interferes from the apron. Woods confronts Ava and The Dyad at ringside now and they have words. Kofi runs the ring and leaps out with a suicide dive, taking Fowler and Reid down. Kofi returns to the ring but Gacy rocks him. Kofi blocks the spinning Uranage from Gacy, then nails Trouble In Paradise for the pin to win.

Winner: Kofi Kingston

– After the match, The New Day celebrates as the music hits. The Schism looks on and tends to Gacy as The New Day dances around.

– Drew Gulak is backstage with Hank Walker and he’s not happy with Chase U. Walker tries to calm him and says a win is a win. Charlie Dempsey interrupts and Gulak asks what about that arm injury. Dempsey says injured or not, he’s taking it to Walker next week. Gulak is still fired up as he tells Dempsey to rest up because Walker is going to rip his arm off next week. Gulak storms off and a confused Walker follows.

– We see Grayson Waller and NXT Champion Bron Breakker walking backstage. Back to commercial.

– Back from the break and NXT Tag Team Champions The New Day confronts Pretty Deadly backstage, ready to send them to find more WWE Legend memorabilia. Pretty Deadly snaps as they are tired of jumping through hoops for The New Day. They say they are the best and The New Day knows it, but The New Day says the titles say they are the best. Pretty Deadly offers to run the Gauntlet against three teams next week. The New Day says if Pretty Deadly wins the Gauntlet, they will become the new #1 contenders.

– We get another teaser vignette for New Year’s Evil, apparently for the return of Tiffany Stratton.

– We go back to the ring for The Grayson Waller Effect. Waller takes the mic and says this will be a night to never forget because it will be the final public appearance of Bron Breakker as the NXT Champion, and what better way to celebrate than a discussion on Instagram. We see Waller’s social media comments scroller on the screen. Waller goes on putting himself over and goes to introduce Breakker but the music interrupts and out comes Breakker on his own. They sit down and Bron thanks Waller for having him on.

Waller mentions Bron interrupting him. Waller says he knows Bron wants to rip his face off but Bron says we’ll see. Bron is laid back tonight and glad to be here. The first question is from a fan who asks Bron how it feels to play his hero, WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg. Bron jokes around and admits Waller has out-smarted him. Waller says he did more than that, he turned Bron into a meme. Bron admits the memes are funny, which is a point for Waller. They go on and Waller says next week won’t be a contest, it will be the coronation of a new champion.

Bron says Waller is smart and crafty… Waller tells the fans to shut up so Bron can continue saying good things about him. Bron says what separates Waller from the rest is he knows how to get under people’s skin, unlike anyone else. Bron says the best possible compliment he can give Waller is that he’s just out-smarting everyone else, he’s just better than everyone else. Bron says Waller is the viral guy, that’s his gig. Bron talks about some of Waller’s viral moments – jumping off the cage, hitting Johnny Gargano in the back with a chair, jumping off the ladder at Stand & Deliver, blinding Apollo Crews. Bron says to him, those moments are just distractions. Bron knows Waller will show up next week and give him his best show, and some people may even leave next week’s show talking about Waller, but Breakker will leave here still the NXT Champion.

Breakker presses Waller high in the air, then drops him into a powerslam. Waller quickly scrambles to the floor. Bron grabs Waller’s phone and says here’s a viral moment. Bron runs with the phone in his hand, and leaps over the top rope with a big dive to take Waller back down on the floor. Bron stands tall to a big pop now. Waller is down as fans bark for Breakker. Bron raises the NXT Title belt in the air, over Waller as the New Year’s Evil go-home edition of NXT goes off the air.
