Charlotte Flair and Mercedes Mone will forever be linked due to their classic matches in WWE. They were also part of the Four Horsewomen group, along with Becky Lynch and Bayley.

Each member of the group went on to become top stars for the promotion and has held every championship available to the female talent roster across Raw, SmackDown, and NXT.

Mone, formerly known as Sasha Banks, departed from WWE last year after walking out due to creative differences before negotiating her release from the company and making her pro wrestling return at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17. She later captured the IWGP Women’s Championship at Battle In The Valley.

That title bout where she went over KAIRI marked her first wrestling match since May.

While speaking with Alex McCarthy of Sportsmail, Flair discussed Mercedes’ WWE departure.

“I think it’s cool whenever someone follows their heart, and that’s inspiring. There will never be another group like the Four Horsewomen, ever,”

Charlotte is set to defend her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 39 next month. Mone has two known bookings left with NJPW, both taking place in April.
