Jeff Cobb has called out Kenny Omega and revealed that he plans to confront him face-to-face during next week’s AEW Dynamite.

Cobb spoke to the press after his NJPW match on Tuesday, where he made it clear that he was tired of trash talking and Twitter attacks. Cobb said that he wanted a real fight.

He then challenged Omega, and warned him that he was coming to St. Louis. Cobb even went on to say that he would find Omega’s dressing room and confront him.

Omega currently holds the IWGP United States Championship. He has been challenged by Cobb for weeks now. Cobb mimicked Omega and called him out in backstage promos multiple times, to get his attention. However, the two have only met in the ring once. This was when Omega teamed up with Kazuchika Okada to defeat United Empire’s Cobb and Aaron Henare at New Year Dash!! in January this year.

Cobb really wants to take on Omega, who hasn’t defended his IWGP United States Championship since he won it from Will Ospreay at Wrestle Kingdom 17. Omega will face AAA Mega Champion El Hijo del Vikingo this Wednesday on AEW Dynamite, but it is possible that Cobb could distract him during his match.

AEW has yet to confirm any match between the two as of now, but fans will be surely excited to see a confrontation between the two if it really does end up happening. It remains to be seen if Cobb really would make an appearance at AEW Dynamite next week and confront Omega like he promised.
