All 12 of Stokely Hathaway's fans (his words) are feeling devastated today after the AEW manager announced his retirement during this week's Dynamite.

The 32-year-old arrived at All Elite Wrestling in May 2022 at the annual Double or Nothing event, and has since brought together 'The Firm.'

Prior to AEW, Hathaway was with WWE for just over three years under the name Malcolm Bivens but had turned down a contract renewal offer prior to his April 2022 release.

During last night's Dynamite, Hathaway was due to face FTW Champion Hook, in what would have been the former's first match in over three years.

While dressed for the match, Hathaway grabbed the mic before the match to announce that he had not been medically cleared to compete.

Hathaway also took the time to announce his retirement and told his fan (all 12 of y'all) that he loves them.

As proof of his medical status, Hathaway handed Justin Roberts a 'doctor's note' which didn't exactly look convincing.

Roberts (also a former WWE employee,) informed everybody that the 'doctor's note' was actually a receipt from Wingstops.

With the receipt torn up by the referee, Hook made quick work of Hathaway in the No-Disqualification match and remains undefeated in AEW.

Backstage, Matt Hardy attempted to motivate Ethan Page into avenging their manager by challenging Hook for the FTW Championship.

Hardy is only part of The Firm due to losing a stipulation match to Page and would relish in the opportunity for Hook to destroy 'All Ego.'
