Ronda Rousey is set to be a part of next weekend's WrestleMania 39. If reports are to be believed, WWE shuffled some plans for her.

Ronda Rousey and her tag team partner Shayna Baszler were rumored to be facing Becky Lynch and Lita for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship at the event. However, the company moved ahead with Lynch, Lita, and Trish Stratus facing Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai & Iyo Sky) in a six-woman tag match at the Show of Shows.

Meanwhile, 'The Baddest Woman On The Planet' recently suffered an injury and it was speculated that it would keep her away from WrestleMania. However, that is not the case. Rousey and Baszler will take part in the upcoming event in a WrestleMania showcase Fatal Four-way tag bout. This will feature tag teams from both the Raw and SmackDown women's divisions.

In recent weeks, Rousey had limited on-screen appearances. This resulted in a lack of build-up for the planned title match. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has now reported that WWE scrapped the title match plans because of Ronda's absence before the PPV:

"No direct reason was given, although the idea that Rousey has a fractured arm and thus wasn’t going to be around for a television build for a title match at Mania probably factored into it. The feeling is why throw on a WrestleMania title match when you can’t really build it effectively right now."

At WrestleMania 39, Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler will go up against the team of Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez, Natalya & Shotzi, and another team that is yet to be announced.
