We have an update regarding Cora Jade being off the NXT programming for the past couple of months.

Cora Jade has been one of the talented up-and-coming superstars of NXT. She has been a heavily featured member of the women's division. Jade held the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship with her former best friend Roxanne Perez until turning on her. This led to the pair having a lengthy feud that culminated in a Weapon's Wild match at Halloween Havoc 2022.

Fans haven't gotten the chance to witness her on TV since the New Year's Evil special on January 10, where she was part of a 20-woman battle royal. She had one other match that took place at an NXT live event on January 20. There she was defeated by her former tag team partner Roxanne Perez in an NXT Women's Championship match.

The 22-year-old was expected to face Lyra Valkyria on January 31 NXT, but that match was called off. Jade's absence raised concerns for the fans and a report recently emerged regarding the reason for her absence.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter shared details on Cora Jade's absence from the ring noting that she suffered an undisclosed injury:

"The reason Cora Jade hasn’t been around is that she suffered an undisclosed injury nearly two months back"

Cora Jade is unlikely to be featured at NXT's Stand & Deliver event next weekend. The mystery surrounding Jade also grew this week when she deactivated her Twitter account, leading to further questions regarding her status.

Since the report didn't provide much details, it's hard to say how long she'll be out of action. We will update you on the matter when more details are available.
