One member of the AEW roster was left hurting for real after part of this week's Dynamite did not go according to plan.

This week's Dynamite saw the Blackpool Combat Club continue their heel turn, which has been building for weeks without Bryan Danielson around.

During this week's edition of AEW Dynamite, Don Callis apologized to 'Hangman' Adam Page after taking a phantom bump last week.

Their discussion was interrupted by the Blackpool Combat Club (Moxley, Castagnoli, and Yuta) who attacked the former AEW World Champion.

During the fracas, Moxley struck Don Callis, and the veteran wrestling personality was seen bleeding as the show cut to a commercial break.

After the angle, the announces stated that Callis was undergoing medical exams by trained staff backstage.

PW Insider reports that Callis was legitimately injured during the incident, but it wasn't Moxley's punch.

It is reported that Callis hit his head on something when taking the bump from the punch by the BCC member.

It has not been reported whether there is any heat on Moxley over what happened.

Callis and Page weren't the only AEW names to feel the effects of the Blackpool Combat Club on this week's show.

After the main event saw Kenny Omega retain the IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Championship against Jeff Cobb, the BCC was ready to attack.

Bryan Danielson made his return to AEW programming after three weeks away and appeared at first to be on Omega's side.

A running knee strike from the American Dragon confirmed his, and the BCC's heel turn, and the group assaulted Omega to close out the show.
