One of the top names in Tony Khan's Ring of Honor is reportedly working without a contract to his name.

Tonight, Ring of Honor will host their annual Supercard of Honor event, the second SOH show since Tony Khan purchased the promotion last March.

The show will feature six Ring of Honor championships being defended, as well as the AAA Mega Championship.

During the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed that Brian Cage's contract with AEW/ROH has expired.

The Machine and Tony Khan have agreed for him to continue competing until after Supercard of Honor, where he will be part of the ROH Six-Man Tag Titles Match.

Cage, Kaun, and Toa Liona, known collectively as The Embassy, will be defending their titles against AR Fox, Blake Christian, and Metalik.

Meltzer said that it is likely that The Embassy will be dropping their Six-Man Tag titles until a new deal is reached very soon.

Unless his situation changes within the next few hours, Brian Cage will be finishing with AEW/ROH and could be on his way to WWE.

It was reported earlier this month that WWE has maintained an interest in Cage and is expected to make an offer if he becomes a free agent.

Some 'heavy hitters' within AEW have been in Cage's corner, with Chris Jericho advocating backstage for Tony Khan to resign him.

Cage made his AEW debut back in May 2020 and including to his reign with The Embassy, is a former FTW Champion.
