Jimmy Lloyd vs Shane Mercer vs Bobby Flaco vs Mago vs Jack Cartwheel vs Willie Mack

We have a 6-way lockup…but eff it, let’s have a Willie Mack dance party instead. Worm to a reverse worm! Stating ovation! Flaco hits a rana and such kicks off all the wild flippy divey jumpy reversy action we’d expect from the opening scramble and THIS SHOW in particular. Highlights include a top rope cutter from Flaco to Mago, Mercer dumping Flaco to the outside in the waiting arm of Willie Mack ready for an apron power bomb & Mago diving through the corner to the floor. Big ol’ dive parties to the floor. Jack Cartwheel hits a clean shooting star to Mercer. Lloyd hits Mago with an awesome slingshot rikishi driver. Mercer tossing Willie like a rag doll. Mack is powerful too, huge sitout bomb to Mercer for two. Mago hits a tornado ddt but jack cartwheel is waiting with a shootstar off the top for the win!

Sexy Star vs Dulce Tormenta

Nick Knowledge says this is the “New & Improved” Sexy Star. Hmm. These ladies are ready to tear it up. Early pins and counter pins and they end up stopped face to face. Star with a hard slap and she decides to lean into pure aggression. Dulce knocked silly as Star grabs a door from under the ring. Dulce narrowly escapes the wood, tilt a whirl power slam. Dulce whipped into the door and Star hits a spear…the door stays intact! A DVD finishes off that resilient piece of wood. Oh we have tacks now? We’re starting to skirt into deathmatch territory, I’m down for it. Dulce with a reversal and power bombs Star into the tacks! Sexy Star kicks out but gets stuck into a half crab immediately. Trading slaps in the center, trading germans, they collapse in tandem as the crowd chants! Dulce with a three amigos? Star rolls up the third one, kick out, v-trigger! Butterfly flapjack stout slam for two! Star with a flurry of strikes and a knee….Dulce avoids the charge, three amigos is completed! Dulce hits a spinning package pile drive for the win!

Yep, this is a trios match I’m gonna love. Watching the opening minutes, I do love that lucha rules keep tag partners on the floor ready to slide in. It can be rough to be in the corner with a view of mostly butts. Anyways, this match is wild. Komander is so fast and watching Black Taurus match him for speed is insane. Aramis hits a great head scissor on the big bull. Komander flies in and eats a samoan drop. Aramis getting pummeled in the corner by the rudos. Taurus tosses him into a perfect tree of woe. The technics are getting beat the hell up. They tear at Horus’ mask and hit a tandem popup power bomb. Komander tries running the ropes and Arez just kicks him down from there. Komander finally tosses Taurus to the floor. Step up reverse superman punch! Komander dives off the kudos shoulders to Taurus on the floor! Aramis gets Arez and spins him in a torture rack….high velocity crashing down to a power bomb! Latigo in for the save, suplex to the backtracker! Komander and Horus hit a double destroyer on Latigo! Taurus with a double crucifix bomb! Arez with a swift little back kick and moonsault for two. Taurus pops Horus and he lands right across the knee. Huge waterfall of spot after spot, everyone drops dead, crowd cheering for this effort! Komader hits Arez with a rope walk shooting star as his partner dive out to intercept the other rudos. He gets the three! LA is making it rain cash after this one!

Los Macizos (Ciclope & Miedo Xtremo) vs Familia de Tijuana (Damian 666 & Bestia 666)

This breaks down pretty quickly into a fight in the crowd. Chairs, trash cans, more chairs, get some doors. The Familia tees up a chair and bats it right into Miedo’s crotch. Dem eggs! Bestia is taking a bunch of the high impact double team action, They want to finish papa Damian but he gets a kendo stick and cracks Los Macizos. Bestia with a headscissor arm drag combo. Double dive to the floor! 60+ year old Damian doing dives! Familia wants to put Ciclope through a door but Bestia takes that bump instead, face first. He has a reciept for Ciclope in the flor of a snap germans that folds him in half. Bestia sends his father to the top rope….he’s caught up there….but he has a kendo stick….Damian is walking the ropes! He comes down with an arm drag for Miedo! Ciclope shotguns him across the ring! Bestia with a super kick flattens him. Bestia setting up a door table…..he catches Meido…reverses to a blue thunder bomb! Damian gets his hands on Ciclope……Miedo slides in and gets Damian up in an electric chair….Ciclope comes down to complete the doomsday slam through the door and gets the pin! Good show of respect and sportsmanship from Los Macizos to Damian 666 after the match.

Tony Deppen vs Negro Casas

WHAT. Deppen is taking on a literal living legend tonight. This is a real stop and go affair as Deppen can’t find a way to keep Casas under control. Tony just resorts to biting and a pile of disrespectful birds. They get into the graps and this gets into submission chess match territory. Tony scrambling for the ropes repeatedly.Spinning back kick and a short ddt only gets a two for Casas. Tony powders and stalls and agitates the fans. They trade palm strikes and elbows in the center. Deppen rebounds with a huge clothesline for two. Casas with a big boot and elbow drop for two! Casas has six decades in wrestling but he is still very quick and keeping up with Deppen. He tries twisting up the arm and fingers but Deppen kicks free. Casas won’t stay down and dares Deppen for his best shot. A running boot won’t keep Casas down and he drags Deppen into a STF. Deppen out and wants to fight, Casas punches him in the throat. Lol. Deppen firing back up, Casas snags a La Magistral cradle and Tony is stuck for the 3! Casas gets the mic and gives a ton of respect to Deppen…and promptly steals back all the cash that Deppen had been stuffing down his trunks

Gringo Loco vs Psycho Clown

The first half of the double main event is now! Psycho Clown (and his child?) spend a long time partying with the crowd before settling in for what might be a violent affair. Gringo stops the fun when he tries to put the boots to the kid?!? He wants this rematch bad. Clown sends his kid to safety. Gringo tries to come flying but Clown hits him with a chair. Gringo returns that shot and hits a tope con hilo to the floor. Clown crotches Gringo into the ring post. Dive through the corner into the chairs! Clown sent into the chairs. Not the good venue chairs! Clown smashes Gringo with a bucket of beers! Trading ugly straight punches back and forth. Clown dents the bucket over Gringo’s head and drags him around the ring with a sweatshirt around his throat. This is stiff. This is violent. This feels personal. That chair getting used liberally as Gringo blasts him off the top and tries to tear the mask off. Clown is busted open as the top of his mask rips off…..gringo biting into the forehead. He grabs a pair of scissors and cuts into Clown deeper. Psycho Clown still has the bottom of his mask as he looks winded from that last exchange. Gringo grabs a ladder. Clown tries to avoid it but Gringo body tosses him into it. We have a door introduced, Clown is trying to get his bearings. Gringo back over with the scissors but a desperate Clown spine busters Gringo into the door. He starts shattering the door on top of Loco with a chair. Standing drop split leg moonsault for two! Alabama Slam into a set up chair! Psycho Clown is turning the violence on. Frogsplash for two! Corkscrew splash to the outside! Gringo must have eaten a chair cause he comes up bloody…Clown grabs the scissors and starts carving into his opponent. Clown looking for the kill but Gringo reverses to a Spanish Fly off the top! Gringo’s face is a MESS. senton off the ladder hits nothing! Clown sets up a ladder and door at ringside. He puts Gringo out on the door….frogsplash off the ladder through the door! Did Gringo gets his knees up? Both guys look rough but Clown tries a pin on the floor. Kick out. We need more plunder….Psycho clown finds some cinder blocks oh nooooooo. Gringo comes up for air and he’s got a bunch of bandages around his head. He’s looking bad. We got another door table set up…Clown knocked loopy and put on the door. Gringo puts the cinder blocks on his head…..He going to kill him! Clown back up and whips Gringo with a belt! He dumps a bag of thumbtacks onto the cinderblocks and door…Spanish fly through the whole pile of bad. The cinder blocks shatter. Both guys looking worse for wear, Gringo with a crucifix roll up and gets the three! The ref’s are immediately out here to help Psycho Clown to the back, he’s clutching his midsection hard…maybe a cracked rib from that landing? Gringo doesn’t have time to celebrate either as he gets out of there…probably to get some stitches. Damn, the cleanup crew has their work cut out for them.

Main Event: El Hijo Del Vikingo vs Laredo Kid

This is hard hitting right out of the gate. Vikingo with a double knee through the ropes that sends Kid crashing to the floor. Shooting star off the apron! Slingshot Phoenix splash! Laredo Kid with a poisonrana and Michanoku driver! Moonsault elbow drops! That’s pretty sick. Laredo Kid jaws with the ref and throws a knee that it very clearly low. Hard kicks to the spine. The fight goes to the top, Vikingo headbutts Laredo down….he stands on the ring post, dives down and hits a destroyer to the apron. JESUS! Flying cross body into the chairs! He tries a swinging slam but Kid lands on his feet and power bombs Vikingo. Kid is getting frustrated. Belly to Back Moonsault super Plex! HOW. Laredo wants another one….Vikingo with a gut punch. Swinging uranage off the top! Laredo kicks out after that crash. Vikingo running with the double knees! 630 senton connects and Laredo Kid is DONE. GOD. DAMN. This is Vikingo’s year at Mania week, edging out Speedball’s showing this year just by virtue of the sheer madness he’s been doing in the ring all weekend. Wow.
