The wrestlers of IMPACT Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling are set to collide once again this coming August.

During last night's IMPACT Rebellion Pay-Per-View, the promotion announced that IMPACT x NJPW Multiverse United 2: For Whom the Bell Tolls will take place on August 20.

The event will be held at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, better known to wrestling fans as the famed ECW arena.

At this time, no matches have been announced for the much-anticipated crossover event between the two promotions.

The first IMPACT x NJPW Multiverse United took place on March 30, this year as part of WrestleMania week in Los Angeles.

The event saw Hiroshi Tanahashi defeat Impact's Mike Bailey in the main event after a war that went over 15 minutes.

The show also saw titles from both IMPACT and New Japan Pro Wrestling be defended.

Trey Miguel was able to retain his IMPACT X-Division Championship while the Bullet Club's Ace Austin and Chris Bey retained the IMPACT World Tag Team Titles.

KENTA was able to hold on to his NJPW Strong Openweight Championship with a victory over Minoru Suzuki.
