One of wrestling's free agents was spotted backstage at the most recent Game Changer Wrestling event in Orlando, Florida.

GCW Scene of the Crime 2023 took place last night and saw Masha Slamovich retain the GCW World Championship against Sawyer Wreck.

Post-match, Blake Christian appeared and confronted Slamovich, presumably setting up a title match.

While GCW featured some of the promotion's big names at the show, perhaps the biggest name in the arena remained behind the scenes.

Fightful Select reports that former WWE Superstar Trinity 'Naomi' Fatu was backstage at the event, but there is no word on why she attended.

Fightful reached out to GCW and asked if she was just visiting or if Fatu would have a presence in GCW moving forward, but were given no clarification.

Fatu has not competed for close to a year after walking out of the May 16, 2022, episode of Raw over a creative dispute.

It was recently reported that Bushiroad had an interest in signing Fatu but she proved to be too expensive for the parent company of NJPW and Stardom.

Bushiroad's wrestling division was hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic, but Fatu has since refuted the claim that she was too expensive for Bushiroad.

Fatu was backstage at Ring of Honor Supercard of Honor last month though there is no word on whether she will be part of the promotion moving forward.

On social media earlier this year, Fatu confirmed that she is no longer part of WWE.
