Richard Holliday is ready to get back to wrestling after announcing that his Hodgkin's lymphoma cancer is in remission.

Last December, Holliday disclosed in a Sports Illustrated interview that he had been feeling ill since June, and had been diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma in September 2022. Last month, Holliday confirmed that his tenure with MLW has come to an end and thanked Court Bauer and the promotion for their support.

At Beyond Wrestling's Thirty (+under) event on April 30, Holliday made a surprise appearance following the main event. That match saw Alec Price and Stetson Ranch (BRG and Steven Stetson) face The Miracle Ones (Ichiban, Dustin Waller, and Kylon King) in a double disqualification. Post-match, Price and Stetson Ranch were about to attach Ichiban when Holliday appeared.

Holliday teased aligning with Price and his teammates but turned on them and cleared the ring. The former MLW star raised the hands of the Miracle Ones to close the show and announced that he is in remission.

After training under Paul Roma, Holliday made his wrestling debut in 2015, and would be signed by MLW in 2018. Mere months after his debut, he formed an alliance with Maxwell Jacob Friedman and the two would be dubbed the Dynasty. It wasn't long after that Alexander Hammerstone joined the group.

In July, Holliday and MJF captured the MLW World Tag Team Championships from the Hart Foundation (Davey Boy Smith and Teddy Hart,) and would hold the titles to the Von Erichs in November.
