– The "Light the fuse..." theme and accompanying video hits as usual to get this week's show off-and-running. We then shoot inside the CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore, MD. where Excalibur welcomes us to the show with his "It's Wednesday night, and you know what that means ..." catchphrase.

Orange Cassidy, Bandido, Adam Cole, & Roderick Strong vs. Jericho Appreciation Society

Before the match begins Chris Jericho makes his way out with the new Britt Baker t-shirt on which angers Adam Cole before the bell rings. His group then gets into the ring to square off with their opponents as it is Roderick Strong and Daniel Garcia that start with the debuting star getting the best of things with a series of strikes as Cole is brought in. He picks up the aggression and attacks Garcia in the corner while talking trash to Jericho.

However, that distraction allows Angelo Parker to tag in, but he eats a pump kick as Bandido then enters and then all eight men wind up in the ring as the encounter breaks down into a huge brawl. Jake Hager gets the best of Orange Cassidy inside the ring but he turns it around with a DDT reversal. However, the International Champion's attempts to dive outside the ring leads to Hager catching him and slamming him into the ring post after a knee strike from Garcia, but they are taken down by a Bandido dive.

Cole then looks to go up to Jericho but Matt Menard and Parker stop him. Inside the ring, Bandido looks for the delayed vertical suplex to Parker but Menard stops it as he gets lifted up. The tag team then both get suplexed at the same time as Cassidy tags in and he gets the best of the duo as well until Garcia blindsides him. JAS isolates Cassidy but he does fight his way back to his corner following a stundog millionaire as Strong tags in.

Strong begins cleaning house with a backbreaker for Garcia and a series of kicks to Hager. Cassidy then comes in and looks for Orange Punch but he's taken down and this leads to a flurry of people hitting the ring to wipe each other out with one move. But Cassidy does hit Hager with the Orange Punch as Cassidy is dropped by Beach Break, but that only gets a near fall.

Cassidy and Bandido then dive out to wipe several members out while Strong deals with another until Cole hits the Boom onto Menard for the win.

Winners: Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, Orange Cassidy, & Bandido

– After the match, Cole charges Jericho into the set behind the commentary table as he attacks him until security pulls them apart.

– Jack Perry and Darby Allin are interviewed backstage as Perry says they have things in common like they busted their asses, they've never headlined a PPV, and Allin agrees this is it and he doesn't care how they get there. Tonight it's showtime. Jericho is then shown telling security to get rid of Cole but Britt Baker turns up and slaps him in the face.

– The Blackpool Combat Club are then shown where Bryan Danielson claims he's better than Bret Hart ever was and he is the best in the world and if he's not it's one of his men. There will be wrestlers in the future better than him because of what he built which is the difference between them and The Elite. Jon Moxley says they should thank them for sharpening them. He believes there was a time The Elite was innovative, but next week in the steel cage he has new tools and weapons to show Kenny Omega.

Saraya vs. Willow Nightingale

Saraya immediately gets out of the ring and says she's not ready as Willow Nightingale gives chase until Toni Storm and Ruby Soho get in the way. When she tries to get back into the ring Saraya then attacks Nightingale, but she throws her down to the mat and follows it up with a big shoulder tackle. Nightingale then hits a dropkick off the middle rope, but that's not enough to keep Saraya down.

She follows up with a big chop and a running clothesline, but The Outcasts distract the official which allows Saraya to hit a boot to the face, and then a flurry of knee strikes. She dumps Nightingale to the floor as Saraya's stablemates then continue to attack her. She then stomps away on Nightingale in the corner while Soho and Storm continue to take advantage of the situation when they can.

Nightingale fires back with a big boot and a spine buster, but Saraya kicks out. The Englishwoman responds herself with the Knight Cap, but this time it is Nightingale kicking out and while she is shocked Nightingale then hits the Death Valley Driver, yet Storm distracts the official only to get pounced as she then knocks Storm off the apron. However, the distraction is too much as Saraya drops Nightingale with Good Knight for the win.

Winner: Saraya

– After the match, the group attacks Nightingale until Hikaru Shida makes her return, but she ends up siding with The Outcasts! However, as they celebrate Jamie Hayter and Britt Baker turn up and it's all a ploy. Shida sprays the paint into Saraya's face and then she begins attacking them all with her kendo stick as she spraypaints the 'L' onto them.

– The House Of Black are then shown in a video package as they welcome us to the open house, no shortcuts, no escapes, no mercy. Any three competitors teaming up can challenge but there are rules. 20 second count outs, no rope escapes, DQ is enforced with dealers choice as they say come one, come all, because the house always wins.

Tres De Mayo Battle Royale

The match breaks down into a big brawl to start, and Evil Uno secures the first elimination by throwing Ari Daivairi out of the ring. Aaron Solo and QT Marshall then work on him though and together they dump the masked man out. Rey Fenix then gets attacked while he's on the top rope by Josh Woods, but he ends up sending Tony Nese out of the match leaving Woods as the final member of his group.

He isn't in for much longer though as El Hijo del Vikingo eliminates him, but Marshall then sends Alex Reynolds flying. However, he and Solo brag for too long and Lucha Bros eliminate both of them from behind while they're bragging. Powerhouse Hobbs looks for revenge but he eats double superkicks. They aim to hit one another but Marshall and Solo hold their legs which allows Hobbs to eliminate them. He then catches Vikingo and he throws him over the top rope.

Billy Gunn then tries to fight Hobbs but the veteran is dropped with a big clothesline which leads to The Acclaimed working together to eliminate him. The Acclaimed try to hit their pose but The Butcher eliminates Max Caster as they then do the post themselves to mock them. John Silver is thrown out next by The Blade and it comes down to him, Butcher, and Kip Sabian against Bowens and Gunn.

Sabian and Butcher focus on Gunn but while that happens Bowens sends Blade out of the match. He then starts attacking both of his opponents but they try to eliminate him only for Gunn to make the save. The Acclaimed men work together and hit stereo Famousers as they eliminate their opponents.

Winners: The Acclaimed

– When we return from the break, we're sent backstage where we see Don Callis and Kenny Omega. "The Cleaner" talks about Jon Moxley and how he mentioned earlier tonight being excited to show something new and how he has a plan heading into their steel cage match next week.

Callis then interrupts and points at a scar on his head and mentions how he suffered a skull fracture and needed 26 stitches as a result of Mox and the Blackpool Combat Club attacking him.

Kenny confidently states that when Mox meets him inside those ring ropes he can't touch him. He says he might make him bleed but at the end of the day, everything comes to an end in Detroit. He vows Mox won't be the one left standing. He says it was made personal and next week he ends it.

Wardlow vs. Logan LaRue

Wardlow's theme hits as we return inside the CFG Bank Arena and out comes the TNT Champion accompanied by Arn Anderson. He heads to the ring for our next match of the evening here on Dynamite.

The big man settles inside the ring and poses with his title on the ropes as the crowd reacts. Logan LaRue is announced as his opponent, who is already in the ring. The bell sounds and we're officially off-and-running with this one.

Within seconds the TNT Champion runs over LaRue and hits his Powerbomb Symphony for the easy squash match pin fall victory. Once the match wraps up, Christian Cage's theme hits and out he comes with his monster, Luchasaurus.

Christian Cage goes on to surprise both Wardlow and Arn Anderson by saying it is he, not Luchasaurus, who is getting the next shot at the TNT Championship. The quick post-match promo segment wraps up on that note. We then head to another commercial break.

Winner: Wardlow

– After the match, he says he hasn't broken a sweat and he knows there's a guy back there looking to cut the line, and he demands a TNT Championship open challenge as he calls out Christian Cage and Luchasaurus. The veteran answers the call and trash-talks the fans. He says he could send his right hand of destruction down to take the title right now if he wanted it to happen, but it's not going to happen in Baltimore. Cage says the title shot doesn't belong to Luchasaurus, it belongs to him.

Ricky Starks vs. Juice Robinson

Jeff Jarrett and his group are shown turning up at the Briscoe farm and they want to lend a hand. Footage is then shown of them working on the farm, but just as Jarrett is about to sing Papa Briscoe turns up and tells his son to keep his eye on the rest of the clowns even though he knows Jay Lethal is okay. Lethal then challenges FTR for an AEW World Tag Team Championship match.

Ricky Starks immediately takes the fight to Juice Robinson, launching him into the barricade repeatedly, but Robinson responds by gauging the eyes of his opponent only for Starks to hit a backdrop outside the ring. However, the Bullet Club Gold star then sends Starks hard into the stairs but Starks then grabs Robinson and climbs the stairs with him before hitting a bodyslam to the floor.

Back inside the ring, Starks almost wins it with a roll up but that is responded to with a senton from Robinson. "Rock Hard" then begins throwing his right hand but he misses wildly and gets dropped with a lariat. Starks spikes Robinson with a DDT, and he drops him again but his splash is met with Robinson getting his knees up. Robinson follows it with a cannonball in the corner and then a hurricanrana from the top rope as Robinson then hits a lariat, but Starks kicks out.

Robinson chops across the windpipe of Starks, but "Absolute" fires back with a Spear and Roshambo for the win.

Winner: Ricky Starks

– After the match, Jay White hits the ring and jumps Starks, but he reverses Blade Runner and goes for the Roshambo until Robinson pulls White down as they retreat.

MJF & Sammy Guevara vs. Jack Perry & Darby Allin

Before the match, MJF is shown going into Jack Perry's locker room telling him to think about what he could do for his career. All he has to do is betray Darby Allin, as MJF says he isn't World Champion material, and he offers him a spot next to the throne, but Perry says he's looking for the crown and he's the next World Champion. However, Allin then walks in and sees them talking together.

Jack Perry starts out by dropkicking Sammy Guevara and that leads to MJF and Darby Allin tagging in and the World Champion almost gets caught with a roll-up as he then sends MJF across the ring with a hip toss. MJF crawls away and he and Guevara go to discuss tactics after a poor start. MJF then almost hits Guevara as Perry avoids him, and he and Allin then work together to drop the champion, but he kicks out.

Guevara and Allin then come in and the "Spanish God" repeatedly uses the scarf to choke Allin, but then he gets to use it himself while hitting a stunner to MJF. Allin aims for a tag after that but MJF runs around and throws Perry into the barricade. The heels then cut a promo on the fans while they're on top as they isolate Allin in their corner. Allin manages to crawl across to his partner to make the tag and Perry comes in with a diving crossbody.

He then starts throwing lariats until the numbers game proves to be too much, but he then drops both with a double clothesline. That is followed by him diving out of the ring repeatedly to wipe out both men. Perry hits the Tiger Driver to Guevara but he can kick out, and as Perry goes to the top rope MJF grabs his boot, and that allows Guevara to hit the Spanish Fly.

Allin comes in with a Code Red to Guevara, but MJF blocks it and hits a powerbomb which forces Allin to kick out. Perry makes a blind tag and then locks MJF in the Snare Trap, but Guevara breaks it up with a double stomp. The heels then tease diving out but MJF stops while Guevara wipes them both out and he gives Perry to the champion who drops him onto his head, yet Perry kicks out once more.

Things begin to break down between MJF's team as they both want the pin so they argue in the ring. MJF slaps Guevara who responds with a superkick and his opponents take advantage of that with a Coffin Drop.

Winners: Jack Perry & Darby Allin
