Matt Cardona has added yet another championship to his collection by dethroning Jacob Fatu as House of Glory champion.

Cardona won the title at House of Glory's Beware The Fury 2023 event on May 19, with Steph De Lander in his corner. When the referee was knocked out, De Lander tried to hit Fatu with the title, but struck Cardona instead. When Fatu took out De Lander, Cardona took advantage of the distraction and hit the Radio Silence off the ropes to get the pin.

In a post-match interview, Cardona dedicated his title win to his cat who recently went missing but has since been found. The former WWE Superstar added that he is bringing House of Glory to the Premier Streaming Network.

Cardona will likely be part of House of Glory's next event, the Plata O Plomo. The June 16, show will take place at the NYC Arena in Jamaica, New York, and will feature El Hijo del Vikingo.

For Matt Cardona, the HOG Heavyweight Championship is the latest piece of gold in his collection. At this time, Cardona also holds gold for Squared Circle Expo, Absolute Intense Wrestling, World Series Wrestling, and All-Star Wrestling.

The former Zack Ryder is also a former GCW World Champion, and IMPACT Wrestling Digital Media Champion. The biggest win outside of WWE for Cardona came in February of last year when he captured the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. In June, Cardona was forced to vacate the title due to injury.
