Cody Rhodes will fight Brock Lesnar at WWE Night of Champions, and not even a 'broken' arm will stop the American Nightmare.

During this week's Raw, Rhodes was ambushed by Brock Lesnar moments into the show, and the Beast eviscerated Rhodes backstage. The culmination of Lesnar's backstage assault saw the former Universal Champion use a keg, smashing Rhodes' left arm into a steel shutter.

Not finished with his assault, Lesnar ambushed Rhodes in the ring later in the show. The Beast Incarnate locked in his Kimura Lock and supposedly broke Cody's arm in the process.

In the closing moments of Monday Night Raw, Rhodes was confronted by Triple H in a rare on-screen appearance for the WWE Chief Content Officer. Triple H tried his best to speak about the injury, and said that both he and Cody can tell the latter's arm is 'broken.'

Cody refused to be seen by any medical team and said that he will fight Lesnar at Night of Champions no matter what. Triple H added that Cody is afraid to be seen by a physician, who will no-doubt confirm that the arm is broken, which would leave Triple H no choice but to cancel the match with Lesnar.

Rhodes said that even with a damaged arm, he has two legs to fight Lesnar at Night of Champions, and questioned whether Triple H would be willing to cancel a match if he was in Cody's shoes. The segment ended with Rhodes using his one good arm to pack away his personal items, while the Game gave a reassuring pat on Cody's knee and shoulder.
