WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg sustained a nasty head injury based on a photo he posted on Instagram on Tuesday morning.

The former WWE and WCW Champion recently made headlines when he announced his hope to embark on a 'Retirement World Tour.' His Most recent match took place at last year's WWE Elimination Chamber event from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (February 2022), when he lost a 6-minute match to Roman Reigns.

Life as a pro wrestler can be pretty dangerous, but it seems things can also be pretty perilous outside the ring.

He included a number of hashtags with the gory photos, including, #lifeonthefarm #clutz #tractor #shootingrange #mishap #gotcolor #hardway #fleshwound #superglue and #texas

Based on these tags, we can surmise that Goldberg cut his head open during a mishap that took place on his farm. (Update: a rep for Goldberg tells TMZ that he accidentally knocked his head on a tractor.)

Goldberg purchased a 150-acre ranch in 2020 located in Boerne, Texas, a town northwest of San Antonio, Texas

Here are the photos, if you don't mind a little blood:
