There was a notable title change at the AEW Double or Nothing event from Las Vegas, Nevada, as Toni Storm won the AEW Women's World Championship from Jamie Hayter.

Hayter was banged up heading into the bout as she was dealing with some short of a shoulder injury. There was some concern that she may not wrestle at the event because of the injury.

At the show, there was a delay in Hayter’s entrance as Storm waited on her in the ring. Moments later, we saw Hayter come out while being attacked by Ruby Soho and Saraya. They kept the match short as Hayter tried to fight back before she was sprayed in the eyes with spray paint and ate a hip attack. They did some outside interference from Hikaru Shida, who attacked Soho at ringside before Storm with her finisher for the win.

Hayter had her shoulder taped up for the bout. We wish her a speedy recovery and hope the injury isn’t serious.

Storm begins her second reign as AEW Women's Champion as last November at AEW Full Gear, Hayter won the title from Storm. She made three successful title defenses.
