As the old adage goes, "All good things must come to an end," and they did.

Between AEW and WWE, three new women's champions were crowned last night. In the realm of WWE, Tiffany Stratton captured her very first title in professional wrestling, the NXT Women's Championship, after defeating Lyra Valkyria at NXT Battleground.

Meanwhile, Toni Storm dethroned Jamie Hayter to become the new AEW Women's Champion at AEW Double or Nothing. Perhaps the most shocking title change, though, occurred after Jade Cargill laid down an open challenge for the TBS Championship.

With a hard-fought victory against Taya Valkyrie, Cargill's undefeated streak had risen to 60-0, but she wasn't done just yet. She was hungry for more. As such, she issued an open challenge for anyone in the locker room to step up and face her for the title. That challenge, of course, was answered by a returning Kris Statlander.

Statlander wasted little time going after Cargill, and soon enough, she landed a piledriver to secure the win, and snap Cargill's winning streak. Cargill's record now stands at 60-1.

Following her loss to Statlander, Jade Cargill issued a short statement to Twitter. "It’s been a wild wild ride. Went for double and got nothing," she wrote.

Cargill first made her in-ring debut in March 2021 as she teamed with former NBA star Shaquille O'Neal to defeat Cody Rhodes and Red Velvet. Since then, Cargill has built up an impressive resume, which included a huge win over Ruby Soho to become the inaugural TBS Champion in January 2022.

During her reign, Cargill scored wins over several notable names, including Athena, Anna Jay, and Madison Rayne. Her reign as TBS Champion recently surpassed 500 days, until she was dethroned by Kris Statlander at AEW Double or Nothing.
