Braun Strowman is currently on the injured list and may be out of action for a bit longer.

It's been almost a month since Strowman laced up the boots for WWE. His most recent match took place on the May 1 edition of Monday Night Raw, when he and Ricochet defeated the Alpha Academy in tag team action.

The nature of Strowman's injury is unknown, but a new report from PWInsider states the former Universal Champion may require surgery.

Strowman has been placed on WWE's 'disabled' list and the creative team has reportedly been told that he should not be factored into storylines over the next few weeks.

WWE officials have already taken steps to account for this situation. Ricochet has been working singles matches over the past few weeks, picking up wins over Bronson Reed and The Miz this past week to earn a spot in the upcoming men's Money in the Bank ladder match.

Strowman is now dealing with his second injury in a six-week timespan.

After returning to WWE in September 2022, he feuded with Omos and later Imperium. He missed ring time in late April for what was believed to be a concussion. While he didn't confirm the concussion reports, he wrote on social media, "Sorry to everyone over the weekend that was looking forward to me performing. We are taking every proper step to make sure I recover to 100%"

At this stage, the best case scenario for Strowman would be to avoid surgery, since that would extend his hiatus even farther.
