Logan Paul is eager to get back in the ring for WWE and will have an evolved perspective of pro wrestling when that day comes.
Paul has proven himself to be a valuable signing for WWE. After a handful of matches, he's already considered to be one of the best 'celebrity wrestlers' in wrestling industry.
We recently compared the WWE success of Logan Paul and Bad Bunny, and sided with Paul as the better signing, with all factors considered.
Paul says he's chomping at the bit to lace up his boots again. He's following WWE programming closely and is noticing things he's never picked up on before.
On the latest episode of his Impaulsive podcast, Paul explains how he's watching the product with fresh eyes.
“I am so hungry to get back in there, dude," said Paul. "I am so hungry to get back in there, and I just got cable here in Puerto Rico. I’ve been watching Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown and the big events. Night of Champions just happened. As a fan, for the first time, I’m watching the consumer angle. I didn’t always do that."
Previously, he was watching WWE programming through the lens of being a 'Youtuber.' He knew what viewers are looking for, he knows how to create moments that will get fans talking. Now that he's a WWE Superstar and a big fan of the product, he sees things from a new viewpoint.
"I think this angle and these last three months I’ve had off in this sport will lead to an amazing next couple of years in the WWE. I’m really excited to get back.”
Earlier this month, a WWE source told me the creative team was working under the assumption that Paul would be back on television soon, most likely before Money in the Bank (Saturday, July 1).
The 28-year-old influencer/podcast/businessman signed a new multi-year WWE contract last month.
