Minoru Suzuki will join the list of Japanese stars brought to the U.S. by Major League Wrestling when he debuts next month.

In a video that makes use of the trademark "Kaze Ni Nare" slogan of Suzuki's theme music, MLW confirmed that the Japanese legend will make his debut for the promotion on October 14 at MLW Slaughterhouse. The show will take place at the 2300 Arena, known to many as the ECW Arena, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Suzuki is, at this time, the only name confirmed for MLW Slaughterhouse. There is no word yet on who he will be facing at the upcoming event.

A veteran of the ring who learned under the tutelage of Karl Gotch, Suzuki is currently working as a freelancer for New Japan Pro Wrestling. In NJPW, Suzuki is a former IWGP Intercontinental Heavyweight Champion and two-time NEVER Openweight Champion. Suzuki has also competed for All Japan Pro Wrestling, where he is a two-time Triple Crown Heavyweight Champion. I Pro Wrestling Noah, Suzuki is a former GHC Heavyweight Championship as well as a one-time GHC Tag Team Championship (with Naomichi Marufuji.)

Suzuki's debut for MLW comes two years after he debuted for IMPACT Wrestling in November 2021. Last year, Suzuki appeared for Ring of Honor and All Elite Wrestling and would be the man to lose the ROH World Television Title to current champion Samoa Joe. In March of this year, Suzuki, representing New Japan, competed at the promotion's crossover event with IMPACT Wrestling titled 'Multiverse United'
