We have an update regarding the former AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill regarding her future.

With reports of her contract expiry emerging, there has been speculation that she will be jumping ship to WWE. Cargill has been one of the most dominant stars of AEW's Women's Division. She made her pro wrestling debut back in March 2021 when she teamed up with NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal against Cody Rhodes and Red Velvet.

Her 508-day reign as the TBS Champion remains to be one of the most memorable chapters in AEW history. We previously reported that Cargill's contract will expire and there is a belief that she is headed to WWE.

Now, Mike Johnson of PWInsider has provided an update. He reported that it’s believed that Jade Cargill's AEW contract has now expired. Additionally, it was reported that she is expected to head to WWE's training facility, Performance Center in Orlando next week.

Cargill recently made her return to AEW programming. During the September 14 edition of AEW Dynamite, it was announced that the former TBS Champion, Jade Cargill would be challenging Kris Statlander for the TBS Title on the September 16 edition of AEW Rampage.

Kris Statlander successfully retained the TBS Championship. Reports soon emerged that it marked Cargill's final appearance for AEW. Many found the reports to be interesting as she recently shed praise on AEW President Tony Khan and AEW in general.

We will have to wait and see what the future holds for Jade Cargill.
