Last March, EJ Nduka tweeted his thanks to MLW for a crazy ride before letting his fans know that "the Judge is just getting started!" He finished with "see you soon."

Six months later, "The Judge" is wrestling in AEW. He wrestled before Collision in a dark match. He got the win over Deonn Rusman on Saturday in State College, PA.

Later Nduka would tweet a picture from his match with the caption, "we just getting started."

AEW Dark viewers may recall that Nduka wrestled Konosuke Takeshita back in January. A few weeks before that match, he and his Hustle And Power partner Calvin Tankman dropped the MLW tag titles to the Samoan SWAT Team (Lance Anoa'i and Juicy Finau) after 315 days. Tankman recently announced his free agency.

Prior to wrestling for MLW, Nduka was briefly with WWE. He signed with them in 2019 only to be released less than two years later. In a previous interview with SEScoops, Nduka talked about his relationship with former TBS Champion, Jade Cargill. While they went to the same college, they didn't know one another.

“So, Jade and I, we both went to college together. Ironically, we knew of each other, but we didn’t know each other. In college, she played basketball and I played football. We actually got close when we got in the industry the same day.”

Nduka and Cargill had a WWE tryout the same day and have been friends ever since. “We had our tryout at the WWE at the PC (Performance Center). She was literally right behind me in line. We started chopping it up and ever since then we’ve just been really good friends and we train whenever we get a chance. They were in Orlando for the AEW Dynamite, so we got an opportunity to train.”

Following his match on Collision, Cargill replied with "proud".
