In an important moment at AEW Full Gear, Julia Hart etched her name in wrestling history by becoming the youngest AEW Champion at a mere 22 years old. She surpassed the previous record held by Riho, who was also 22, but a few months older, when she became the inaugural AEW Women’s World Champion on the first episode of AEW Dynamite in October 2019 .

The House of Black member showcased her prowess in a triple-threat match against opponents Kris Statlander and Sky Blue, securing a decisive victory to clinch the TBS Championship. The win marked not only Hart’s first championship win at Full Gear but also solidified her name as a force to be reckoned with in AEW.

In the wake of her huge win, Hart took to Twitter to express her feelings about the feat, proudly proclaiming, "The youngest AEW champion. The House Always Wins."

In an AEW press conference recently, Kenny Omega named Julia Hart along with Swerve Strickland as one of the talents to keep an eye on. He highlighted Julia Hart’s recent growth, acknowledging her impressive character development and in-ring performance. “Recently we've seen Julia come on her own. She looks incredible,” said Omega. “She's performing incredibly well, feeling more comfortable in her own skin. The character work has been impeccable. Looks more comfortable in the ring too,” he said.

Hart's ascent to championship glory wasn't the sole highlight of the night's championship fervor. In an earlier bout, Toni Storm reclaimed the AEW Women’s Title, adding to the night's narrative of new champions rising to prominence.
