Default Squid Game Takes Over Sydney Harbour, Australia Ahead of Season 2 Release

Sydney Harbour has become the latest stage for Squid Game’s global phenomenon, with a striking display featuring Young-hee, the iconic doll from “Red Light, Green Light,” now stationed at Luna Park Sydney.

Accompanied by 300 pink guards and a ferry decked out in Squid Game imagery, the event marks the launch of Squid Game: The Experience on December 14, ahead of the show’s highly anticipated second season premiering on Netflix on December 26.

The activation follows the Squid Game global domination taking place all around the world right now including in London and Edinburgh, Paris, Seoul for the World Premiere, Melbourne and now Sydney.

    About Squid Game Season 2

Three years after winning Squid Game, Player 456 gave up going to the states and comes back with a new resolution in his mind. Gi-hun once again dives into the mysterious survival game, starting another life-or-death game with new participants gathered to win the prize of 45.6 billion won.

Director Hwang Dong-hyuk, who made history at the 74th Primetime Emmys® becoming the first Asian to win Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series, once again helms the series as director, writer, and producer.

Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun, Wi Ha-jun, and Gong Yoo reprise their roles from Season 1 with an impeccable list of new cast members including Yim Si-wan, Kang Ha-neul, Park Gyu-young, Lee Jin-uk, Park Sung-hoon, Yang Dong-geun, Kang Ae-sim, Lee David, Choi Seung-hyun, Roh Jae-won, Jo Yu-ri, and Won Ji-an rounding out the ensemble of colorful characters in the new season.
Squid Game season 1 is now on Netflix, with season 2 debuting on December 26 and the third and final season arriving in 2025.

Me and the wife watched the second season. I really enjoyed it, and won't say too much to not spoil.

However, i preferred the first season slightly more.

Yeah, I watched it. I think people are giving it to much of a bad wrap, especially about the ending. Season 3 next year will continue on from season 2. This may be why you and many others enjoyed season 1 more. A full story in sorts.

In season 2 I did like seeing behind the scenes of the guards .. little spoiler lol
