A mass shooting by 3 to 4 shooters has unfolded at a nightclub in Queens, New York.
The incident took place around 11.20pm on Wednesday local time, according to multiple US sources. There are 10 people injured, with local police confirming three had been rushed to hospital.
The motive behind the event is currently unknown and the potential shooters is yet to be identified.
Initial reports indicate that the suspects involved in the shooting fled the scene, prompting an immediate manhunt.
Footage captured by an onlooker on their balcony showed a heavy police presence surrounding the building around midnight local time.
None of the victims are in critical condition and all are expected to survive, according to the NYPD.
