The Hardys Explain Why They Are Open To An Eventual WWE Return

Could we see The Hardys return to WWE after their TNA Wrestling contracts expire later this year?

TNA Wrestling‘s Matt and Jeff Hardy recently sat down with Alistair McGeorge of Metro. While discussing their future, Jeff expressed his desire to return to WWE for a very interesting reason.

“I can’t lie, man,” Jeff Hardy said. “You see the galaxy or the universe and all these legends of WWE like, Andre the Giant, and you see them like in the stars and outer space. And I see myself like doing the guns to my mouth. Every time I see that, I’m like, ‘Oh my God.’ I hope I can make that a reality before my career is all said and done.”

Matt Hardy also commented on the potential of a WWE return, saying it’s not something he’s opposed to.

“I’m certainly not opposed to it. I mean, if it wasn’t for the WWE, Jeff and I wouldn’t be who we are. So we’re very grateful to them for that,’ Matt Hardy said. “I feel like that is always going to be the place we consider home, and TNA would be the second place I would say that feels like a home because we’ve been afforded so many amazing opportunities here, from the Broken Universe to what we’re currently doing now.”

Despite that, Matt made it clear that The Hardys are dedicated to TNA Wrestling for another year.

“We’re committed. We’re with TNA for another year, and we’re very excited and happy about that,” Matt Hardy said. “We really want to continue to try and help elevate TNA as much as we possibly can. That’s mine and Jeff’s goal, because TNA is a very important, integral part of the business. It needs to be successful. And we want it to be successful.”

I would not mind for nostalgic reasons but if they tried to wrestle like they did in the old days in WWE, one of them will probably die in the ring. I like Jeff Hardy.
